Really really good review. I think this is a very hard fragrance to breakdown and review. Opened my eyes to aspects of this perfume I hadn't thought of or noticed before. Great job Rich. I think it is a masterpiece in all aspects of the word. I may get 3 back-up bottles. Thank you 🦆
Fantastic description. Concrete imagery the whole way through instead of the empty effusions we get from the rest of the TH-cam crew. I dug the RDR2 immersion strategy of using a fitting perfume. Makes me wonder what I should be wearing during Dark Souls…

I own green Irish tweed, Fahrenheit, Tuscan leather, Grey Vetiver, the one by DG, Kokorico by JPG, aphrodisiac by Dua fragrances and also Duas Creed green valley clone. Just so you can get an idea of what I have and like! Even though you might not care haha
Then try luckyscent for samples of au Coeur and lonestar memories, they should have them. If you look at my playlists and check out Family Portraits, you'll see I did an overview of all the tauers I have. Hopefully that can help you also 🙏🏻

Thicc 🍆 🦆 This review made me particularly giddy. Just bought this one at the beginning of January, and I too have very, very fond memories of experiences in Texas over the years. It is a wonderful state. I hope you might visit it some day, brother. Still need to give LSM some quality time, although first wear was quite astounding. I enjoyed this immensely, thank you very much.

can i ask you a question….. Since you have a lot of experience buying vintage older fragrances how often do you find that the fragrances purchased like that are no good anymore or have gone super bad to the point they are unwearable? is it a rare thing? is it common? Have you ever had a sealed brand new in box vintage fragrance not be good once you open it?
Ask me anything! If I don't want to answer, I can only say no... but I do want to answer this lol. Never a sealed bottle, no. It has happened to me with vintage but usually with a partial bottle purchase and, to be honest, it's only happened a couple of times in all the vintages I've bought. If a perfume is _particularly_ citrusy leaning, the chances of it going off are higher because the molecules that make up citrus notes are smaller. That means they break down quicker. Another thing to consider is the producer of the fragrance, cheap houses are more likely to use cheap ingredients etc. I hope this helps. If you want anything more, please let me know

I recommend that you try it but maybe not blind buy! It's very leathery and smokey
