Thabks for the detailed review, AC. This one is in a sample cart for me; can't wait to try. Must confess that I wasn't a huge fan of the cumin-y LADDM either, but this may have been my overspraying off a sample. Lasted all day through a shower. Thanks again!

What a fantastic review, such a beautiful fragrance, extremely well blended, a masterpiece but one thing fo sure this a very complex fragrance, and not for everyone. Andy Tauer is a genius.

Awesome review AC! I've not tried this one, but when you said it smelled like a hospital, I know exactly what you mean. I got the exact same vibe from Gucci Guilty Absolute. // Hospital at the opening, but then dries down to a beautiful campfire that has just been rained on. 😉
I love GGA mate, and I have reviewed it. Thankfully in this one that hospital smell doesn't last long, this one is a fabulous fragrance my frind, please try it if you can.

Very good review, AC! Finally I managed to sample this fragrance and I was immediately blown away. I even got complimented in the first store I went into after spraying it on my hand. Now it's on muy buy list and I can't wait to wear it again :)

I love how you perfectly describe scents! Also, will a video on Chanel Antaeus be coming in the future? It's my favourite Chanel fragrance and I feel that it's been woefully neglected by many fragrance reviewers. There seems to be no hype about it, even though I think it's their best scent and is actually one of my favourites of all time, from all brands.

I'm curious. Can that "tincture" impression be at all described as turpentine-ish? I received a sample vial of Tauer's Au Coeur du Desert and I found it to be turpentine-ish.
Could well be, depends on which smell your nose is more attuned to pick.

Hi , i want to say , why I don’t like lonestars , before i like smoky fragrance very much ! I have in my collection interlude , myths , memoure of amouage , zafar of xerjoff , loudh of andy touer , but lounstars remembers me smoky FISH , sorry not for me to smell like smoky salomon !
hahaha yes I wouldn't want to smell like smoked fish either.

i get a very strong gasoline smell from this. its nice overall but i wouldnt call it a masterpiece. maybe i need to wear it more to appreciate it.
