Based on your recommendation, I purchased the iRestore Pro - great deal at Costco. After almost two months, I see some results in that my hair doesn't seem to be falling out as badly as it did. However, I am hoping I have some great results over time. We'll see!

May I asked you how much Costco charged. It says $2500 online where she says to go and that’s with a $500 sale. 😫

$700 for the Pro model is much less than anywhere online. I got mine online during Black Friday sales and with a coupon code, and I think it was almost $900 if I remember correctly. This included the battery pack.

THANK YOU so much for sharing your experience with the iRestore device. I ended up buying the black one and the battery pack which I’m so glad I did, but only because I watched your video. I have been using it for a week and it’s so effortless to make it a part of my routine. I watch your videos while using the helmet when I get home every single night. I used your code and also let them know when I filled out their survey. I’m so excited about the journey and I will be taking pics & videos every 3 months to track my progress 👁️🦋💜

To be fair, the headband style device you showed as “only covering part of the scalp” is meant to be moved over the head in sections…so, you can cover the whole scalp.

I invested in the Omni Lux red light mask, that was a healthy price tag also… didn’t purchase the neck mask nor the hand mask.
I use the Omni Lux for all as it is flexible. And for about a month now have been using it on the top of my head !!!!
Sure it’s not a helmet but the fact that it’s still the correct amount of red and infrared…. Less $$ that I have to spend!!

The idea of that hair bands you showed is to move around the scalp to cover it all, including the back. I actually think those much more interesting, because it has "teeth" to separate the hair, end then get the light on the scalp, rather then the hair (for people who still have plenty of hair this is an issue). Also, they cover the sides of the scalp, where I have a lot of hair thinning. And thos those hair caps do not cover that.

Thank you for the review! My crown and temples are starting to get so thin in the past year, maybe from stress or age. My naturally frizzy, curly hair has also gone thin, straight and silky in my part at the back, I'm curious if the helmet affects the curl pattern at all...I've been stressing and debating perms, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I can't have the curls back. On the bright side, I only have to ever straighten or curl half of my hair! 👁 Thanks again, I love watching your videos!

Cassandra! Fellow Esthetician here. Thank you for another great video - I am a mega fan!!
Interesting and stupidly long anecdote re biotin, but hang on for the ride… I promise it’s worth it:
I hopped on the “biotin bandwagon” ages ago in, not necessarily because of hair growth concerns - I chocked up my thinning hair to the stress of all those back-to-back-bikini waxes in esthi school clinic, lol, when you know you know, and I know you know - but took biotin as an experiment - WHOAHHH DID BIOTIN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY HAIR GROWTH.
But my hair thinning didn’t bother me enough to continue taking it, and AS SOON AS I STOPPED TAKING BIOTIN I LOST THE HAIR I HAD GROWN. It had worked so well though, that my hair stylist and I proselytized it for YEARS (fun fact: so did Dr. Dray in her early 2017 videos, showing us taking it every AM with breakfast, and stopped as science evolved), but I was puzzled why biotin worked for some and not others… Until a few years ago, when my doc and I had a full vitamin B panel done (unrelated) and low and behold - my B7 (aka biotin) was ridiculously low. NO FREAKIN’ WONDER BIOTIN WORKS FOR ME!!! I promptly started taking it again, and not only did I get my luscious locks back, but my mood elevated quite a bit - maybe because of the locks too, lol
Isn’t science cool? I love this stuff so much that I got my Masters in something totally unrelated and then decided to turn my hobby into a career and become an esthi, haha
Anyway, I am fortunate that all I need is biotin supplements to maintain my hair’s natural state - the iRESTORE would be overkill because I don’t have any other cause than low B7 levels (which you touched on here)… I watched this video anyway b/c I am a mega-fan and I watch all your videos 😊 But people just take biotin without even thinking about their B7 levels, and are disappointed that they aren’t getting the results they’re promised by the misleading , confusing supplement industry.
There is a huge void out there for more info on this subject. Dr. Dray is wicked smart (as are you) and I’ve watched every video of hers since 2017, but she she kind of mysteriously stopped proselytizing it when science evolved, and then started talking about how it doesn’t work, not as clearly WHY. 😉
SO…PLEASE DO A DEEP-DIVE VIDEO ON SUPPLEMENTS - not just B7 - and help us open our eyes to the truth 👁️
    -Lindsay (PDX)

Keep in mind that if you stop, hair loss (thinning) will definitely come back. Also each person is different and results will vary. If you have a bold spot or no hair folicle this WON’T work. Hi love your video and you are so beautiful! In the last two years my hair has been falling out. I don’t have visible bald spots but my hair loss is mainly on the sides of my head. So I’ve been to two dermatologists in the last two years and they have both ordered blood work. Results came back normal. Both doctors advised me to start Minoxidil daily and one time a week Nizerol. They both said my scalp looks healthy and my hair fall is most likely genetics’.
Not sure why I’d need NIzoral if my scalp has no scaling or dandruff ??🤷‍♀️ Anyways I understand the hardships you have faced and it’s very frustrating when I don’t have the reason for my hair loss. I’ve had the white pro one for 2 yrs and I think it was working but usually after 3 months I fall off the wagon. I’m just not a consistent routine person and my hair ends up shedding because I’m not using it consistently. Before making a big purchase be real with yourself lol 😂

Thank you for doing this video. Now I know I can ask for more pads to make the helmet fit better. Do you know if the Omnilux red light and NIR light mask makes melasma worse. I have asked some TH-cam derms about this but I don’t get a straight answer. Can you do a video on this? Thank you!

I have the iRestore Professional and I’ve noticed my hair feels thicker and healthier (Telogen Effluvium). Unfortunately I have not experienced any new hair growth in the 19 months I’ve been consistently using the helmet in my problem areas. My doctor suggested that maybe I might have scar tissue from experiencing Scalp dysesthesia, have you heard of this and do you know if there is anything that may help?

I'll happy to hear that this product is working for so many people, but to be perfectly honest, it did not work for me. It actually made everything worse. I gave this product a good 10 months to work, but since using this product I have had so much hair fall out (which continues to fall out even though I stopped using this product about a month ago) that I am now considering hair extensions to disguise how much hair I have loss. And maybe I should simply continue to use this product like the company suggest, but I can no longer afford to lose anymore hair, especially if it never works for me. I am now praying that what I loss will grow back.

Thanks for the video. Does the laser & Led red lights penetrate through our hair to reach the scalp ? ( As most of our scalp is covered by hair unless one is bald )

will this work on male pattern baldness, I shaved my head completely and still do so because I do not want that half head of hair but if this work on male baldness then I would give it a try, I have Lumo trio unit, I have a red light mask, cheep one but it works and I am going to get the Nira pro soon but after that I would consider this, Thanks again

Can I ask you, Cassandra, how old you are? Only because I am a post-menopausal woman and finding out that a lack of estrogen is often an underlying culprit of hair loss. Even young women can suffer. I have AGA, and I'm doing everything I can to maintain my hair.

I’m curious, if you swap the battery pack, will the timer also change (because the white one is 25 mins and the black one is 12 min)?

    • @lm0703

The timer is housed in apparatus attached to the helmet. The battery pack only supplies the power necessary to run it.
