100%. Half of S4 wasnt that good and season 5 was great, but 1,2 and 3 are the best
I worked with a woman who was an extremely heavy smoker and tried using the nicotine patch. Well, one day she completely forgot that she had patch on and went out for forth smoke within 2 hours. The next thing an ambulance showed up at the building were I worked to take her away to the hospital. The combination of the patch and smoking cutoff the air supply throughout her blood system causing to she passed out. Several days later- after being in the confined to bed rest- she was back at work. She pulled out from her desk drawer the remaining box of patches and promptly threw the in the trash bin. Pure Patsy.

Interesting side note, Patsy's 'look' (her hair and wardrobe) was originally based on Ivana Trump and Patsy makes several comments in early seasons of the show about how much she admires her. At that time (the early 90's) Ivana was as famous in Donald, at least in the UK.

Ab FAB was essential viewing back in the day! They are such iconic characters, played brilliantly by Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley! I really miss this kind of comedy.

I Nearly fell out of the chair when she frantically lit Four cigarettes;; That was/is me incarnate. //// I am going to have to check-out what is going on with her==she reminds me soo much of me;; always hysterical about EveryThing. It would Really do me good/calm me down to see Another person who goes to pieces like I do....
The last scene is one of the funnest damn things in the whole show! lol

Would have loved to be in Jennifer's head, when she was thinking, who would play Patsy....and somehow Joanna Lumley was deemed in Top 100 first choices for the part. She just always exuded Class and glamour. So.... Oh, I get it... faded Class and Glamour. Saw Joanna presenting a Documentary last week, and she was Class personified.
