Everything about Hyacinth/Patricia Rutledge is hysterical. The shrill voice down to her high heels on the driveway! The floral prints and hats. And let’s not overlook her “country” look! Constant laughter and enjoyment. I can’t see Keeping Up Appearance too often!

I absolutely love Rose, Daisy and Onslow. But they’re all fantastic. I love the episode where they all go for a picnic with ‘riparian entertainment’ by the river. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Magic!
God this is hysterical, especially those little musical/dancing bursts of hers! :-D Suddenly you appreciate she was very nimble and energetic for a woman in her 60s!
Soundseeker...she was normally nimble, I would say...also, it was her character who was more or less "nutty". She wasn't too old to be nimble. I watched her sing opera, so she's the Renaissance woman/performer etc. She is an artist in the true sense of the word; some actors are classified in certain roles but she plays all wih equal justice - the performance (opera) that I saw was not a satire or anything comedic as she does in this series.

@@helrethlewis9469 OMG!! Thank you so much for enlightening me!! I kind of knew it was a fourth sister, but my mind wasn't registering!! Thanks and stay safe!!
Also I realized that the producers were smart about the names, as each type of flower represents the status/character of the sisters: Violet: most expensive flower of them all/ Hyacinth: also expensive/ Daisy: very common and cheap 😜 /Rose: Beautiful on the outside and somewhat cheap/common. This show is a masterpiece! ❤️
LOL No wonder the Queen mummy loved this show so much! I just couldn't stop laughing! I remember watching it back in the day. Oh! And 2:57 to 3:06? That's quite common here in the States on any given day!

Hyacinth Daisy Violet and Rose
@@helrethlewis9469 OMG!! Thank you so much for enlightening me!! I kind of knew it was a fourth sister, but my mind wasn't registering!! Thanks and stay safe!!
Also I realized that the producers were smart about the names, as each type of flower represents the status/character of the sisters: Violet: most expensive flower of them all/ Hyacinth: also expensive/ Daisy: very common and cheap 😜 /Rose: Beautiful on the outside and somewhat cheap/common. This show is a masterpiece! ❤️
Hyacinth--a legend in her own mind. Love this!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️💥

Oh! And 2:57 to 3:06? That's quite common here in the States on any given day!

My Aunt loved this show, I'm in laughter tears, to me the newer sitcoms don't compare
I almost felt sorry for our Hyacinth when she was being mauled by the Commodore in the back seat of the Vicars car.
Wonderful woman 💙 Very very funny
