    We use cattle panels as fencing for our 4 wethers' nighttime pen. I've seen the little Nigerian Dwarf-Fainter cross climb right over, and the Alpine has tried to get over as well. We ran a line of electric wire over the top and they have never gotten out when it's hot(on). I love your videos!

    Have you made or will you make a video about how you handle your goat milk? Do you just refrigerate it? Do you pasteurize, heat or filter?

    Thanks for the video. You said the area is 2000 square feet. How many goats can fit comfortably? I'm mainly interested in Nubian goats.

    DaNelle, do you breed with a billy? Or do you AI? I have 2 billy's and I can't stand the smell anymore. I have tried for the last 4 years, but I think I have to sell them. I learn so much from your channel.

      There are other articles on our blog for you to read as well. We start with separating them at night first, then eventually all day.

    I have a question why don't you let your goats out with the sheep?

    • @Weedemandreap
      @Weedemandreap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      They have different diets and mineral requirements. We usually let the goats out to the main pasture once a day for a few hours, but they have to go back in for their food & minerals:)

    • @mark46428
      @mark46428 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      goats will do just fine out to pasture all day, they get a lot of their minerals from grass and scrounging around, just don't feed them any moldy hay

    Not the best way to keep goats, goats are free animal. milk will be much more healthier if they are set free.

    • @sharmainehill67

      They live in the city limits in arizona, so I don't think they can get a horse or a cow. And they would not have enough space for one since horses need about 1 acre per horse(or a much better option is 5 acres per horse) and for cows its 5 acres per cattle. =>
