Found your channel because I was looking for oatcakes (my dad’s family is from Stoke area) and I fell in love with your sweet presentation style and am binging all your videos! I made scones (and oatcakes) this morning. I usually like to try recipes “as-is” before making adjustments, but I needed to use up some expiring buttermilk which I subbed for the milk). And because my husband was nagging me that they’d be good with blueberries, I incorporated some blueberries into 2 scones just for him. Wanted to try one savory but forgot about making savory without the sugar and ended up with one cheddar sweet scone haha. Oh my! These scones are soooo delicious! Easy to make and your instruction was superb! These will be perfect for strawberry shortcake with whipped cream. I pray you and yours are well and you stay in high spirits. Made these scones this morning, the easiest and least messy scone recipe ever! I added sultanas as I like a fruit scone, but will try the cheese ones for hubby. Thank you
