love for the bike is unstoppable and it can be understood only by an other bike lover
Great video. Thanks for the video. Keep them coming.
love your vids, man, your bike is awesome ♥
Thats a beautiful bike bro!!!
That's a beautiful bike mate.
thanks man... i rest my case. enjoy riding and be safe.
bike is lookin good!!
@TokyoThai yes its all good. bikes are weather sealed. people even ride under the rain. people park their bike on the street rain or shine. so few min of cleaning like this won't hurt the bike...
Very nice bike man.
great bike, ride safe, and clean LOL, thx man
Water alone does not make the bike rust. Its in combination with dirt/salt you have to worry. Motorcycles are built to tackle rain and of course they won't be damaged if you just lightly spray the bike with water.
you must be proud to ride this beauty!
Very well said, Sir
@JonTheChron i use leaf blower before to blow out the dust inside my car.. but i gave it away to family member.. but yeah blowing the water dry sounds a good idea too, thnx..
the new 636 looks so sick. i think its now the best looking 600
Hey bro, take that glove off the handle and detach the sprayer. Wrap some of the glove around the threads as tight as possible and screw the sprayer back tightly!
It should stop the leaking!
Wow, where did you get that amazing invisible suit?
yeaaa !!!! beautiful o.O
Jk. Should have waited until you mentioned to lube up your chain at the end. Lol. GREAT VIDEO!
5 stars for the cleaning 0 stars for driving on shorts
cerdadiego1 who cares if he to rides in shorts no matter if he falls he still scraping his knees
nice bike man.. hey question?... i dont know much about the mechanic of a bike.. but isnt bad when water falls on the chain and brakes?
What are you using to dry it with does the cloth work good?
thanks .
Lol yours was cleaner before you started than mine ever is.. :p Nice bike btw :)
@kirkscream ahaha! thats is true. i treat this bike like a girl :D
the recomended tire pressure is 36 in front and 40 on the rear. thats for regular riding. if u go to canyons or twisties usually the riders lower their tire pressure so it get warmer easy so it will stick to the ground more. and its more flexible to the ground contact. not like when its hard it tends to skid more when tire pressure is too hard.
any tip in cleaning tyre rims my svc cleans it with some thing glosy but at the same time it is sticky on dirt
really nice bike, love to wash my bike, I assume that you do to, looks good, Cheers mate.
Man the bike is sweet!
It may sound like a silly question but I have raced off-road my whole life and have just started on road but I are you supposed to actually hose a bike to clean it? I cleaned my dads bikes but he said not to use water. Are there downsides to using water?
i have a ninja 650 and had a little issue with the gas tank opening up after washing it. Make sure to cover up the key hole and gas tank key hole.
Is it better to ride a little bit and Air dry the bike or to wipe it down with a towel to dry it?
Its fine as long as you don't overdo it on stuff like the electronics, the controls, the brakes and in between the tank an frame where the airbox is. Just lightly spray these places or try not to at all and just wipe down with wet rags or something.
My bike was new in 03 only saw water once and that was rain according to the previous owner. Im gunna keep it clean that way with spray detailer and wax.
I am looking at buying a zx6r monster eddition for my first bike what are your opinions on that. Do you have any tips for me if so please respond
Is it alright to get water on the electronics? The gauges, handle bar buttons?
@calaiscruiser hehe! thank you for the compliment :-)
for some reason I always worried while rinsing my bike with water hose....Wonder if the electrical system might be hurt. I know it should be alright but there is always some wires or little parts hanging around and could get wet. Am I thinking too much?
Which frame sliders are those? And do they require cutting the fairings?
brakes are made to work in wet and dry weather. and you are supposed to lube your chain after riding in the rain or washing it.
lol nice bike dude xD
i had a great deal with this bike thats why. i got it for $8,000 OTD. i like r6 too. i had r6 and i like it. they about the same. yamaha have a little wider sit. kawasaki have better mid range power. but when they both in high rpm they about the same. at 2009 - 2011 on all the review for 600cc motorcycle kawasaki zx6r is #1 at 2012 gsxr600r and zx6r are both in #1. thats according to motorcycle reviews. that helps making my decision to get the zx6r...
My 09 ZX6R ME used to be shiny like that too. And then I spun out with cold tires making a 90 degree turn out of the parking lot at work. If only I installed my frame sliders BEFORE that... Drop your bike yet? haha.
@VolkZ33 no cutting require, its shogun frameslidder...
@Schiada95 im using micro fiber cloth to wash and aquadry cloth to dry...
thanks bro :-)
thank you :-)
You should use a leaf blower to dry your bike off,it works great
what a bike!
Do you clean the wheels too?
Being a Harley owner... Black and Crome. I use my blower back pack to blow off the excess water off my bike. Easier this way and takes a couple of minutes.
Agree!
I don't even like monster, but damn that's a sweet-ass bike.
I think those black ninjas look the sickest. So gorgeous. Everytime I see a green one or try one out it seems like I'm driving my John Deere around...
@angelsordevils yes i drop my bike but i was full stop. its a good thing i have the frame slider. i have no scratch in my bike..
ganda naman ng motor mo.. idol.. are you a pilipino? by the way your motorcycle is really a badass! :)
@kirkscream i know, it was sad. nice meeting u too kabayan :D
hello bro how remove the dirty oil from chain drop to rear rim?
tat's annoying !
thnx :-)
ok thnx.
what wax do u use parts?
You should use as little water as possible when cleaning a bike. The electrics aren't totally water resistant to being drenched.
thank you so much for help me ho can i wash my bike before i see your video i can't trust wash my bike but my bike is boulevard m 109 black color and all time is dirty
You forgot the polish
@ShittingGlitterInc thank you for the compliment..
I scroll down the page to see the comments "nice bike bro", "beatufiull bike" etc and every single reply is thank you :-) lol xD
People are thinking that so little amount of water can ruin a motorcycle. This is pathetic. Do you guys even ride? Or do you guys ride once a year with the best sunshine only ?
@rsscoyote i did not wax at this time, but somtime i use nanowax spray or nulpolish wax...
DUDE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CLEAN MY BIKE IS THAT OK TO SPRING WATER DIRECTLY TO THE BIKE?
wouldn't the seat get fucked up from the water and soap?
ahaha! thank you :-)
Won't that make the chain rust?
man that sucks i dont have frame sliders on mines the 08 gsxr dont have places for them...but man u clean that sucker good for the bugs to attack lol,,,,
@FaithfulTrigger ok. are you one of the Makabayan Riders?
The best way to dry your bike is with an electric powered leaf blower... try if if you got a chance.
2 bucket method is what I would do.
its the monster edition zx6r. It came that way straight from the factory.
I bet I get hundreds of replys saying that now from my years of being on here hahahaha
@FaithfulTrigger Well that's sad to hear. It was fun watching the Makabayan's Mullholand ride. Anyways, will subscribe to your channel! nice meeting you kabayan! \m/
Be careful with using a car detergent on you sport bike. Some car washing detergents have some type of wax compound (so you don't have to shine the car) that might coat your sport bike tires--watch out that you don't slip out on a curve! Stick to using detergents for bikes and make sure it's safe for tires.
while this is going on, you will notice all the crap on the ground from the tires and ect, also take a rage and get all the final light dirt off, and wait 5 min, till the foaming and simple green works, then just hose it off, and whipe down with a clean non scratch towl, DONE i use a Mother plastic wax every so oftern on all the plastic, and a good headlight cleaner on the front lense, its that simple, no bucket
why use microfiber and not spunch ?
@svengalie thank you
@suppaman12 oh i c. can u tell me the right way? maybe i will make another video doing what u saying the correct way...
@kirkscream i think the makabayan riders is disbanded now. but yes i was a member of that group b4. the head of the makabayan group change the name to something else.
I am a Yamaha fan, but nice bike. What happend to the dress code???
fuck yeah i get the same bike in green/black in 4-5 days!!! greets from germany
Is there a reason you wear a hat/beanie before you put on your helmet? thanks
clean helmet.
phatrides222000 lol fuck that.....i wouldn't like to put on a beanie everytime.....wouldn't ventilate as well unless it was made to wear in a helmet. and plus I would rather just clean the helmet instead of wearing a beanie everytime
Use a chamois to dry it off.
After I clean my bike...I always start it up and go for a quick ride at low speed so the water can escape from all the hidden places..
thats if you want waterspots on every hot surface
OOK,, first get a can or two of the BLACK MAGIC FOAMING wheel cleaner, and also a spray bottle of simple green for the real grimiy areas , and it also takes the road grim off of the tires, and they look bran new, spray the bike with the black magic warm bike works better, all of it, wheels, rims under area, wont hurt plastic, promise, then spray the simple green, 1/2 water 1/2 green in a spraybottle, full strength if needed, then take a soft brush, and get in the hard to reach area,
I love to clean my bike lol
um... I use a (LEAF BLOWER) to blow water out of tight spots and blow water off the bike and then take a shammy to it... much easier
lol i just thought that there was a spider in my screen :P
About the rust part.. Isn;t that why he dry d it?
Also, Good boy! Then you don't mind showing us your bike right? How you keep it clean etc? We would love to know!
Don't mind my English..
Why did i comment on this? this is what he wanted right?.. *sigh
ill b more than happy to show you srub how to keep a real bike clrean without even using water or soap and yes this is what i wanted for u do do and what u cant spel l
rub lightly.. not hard.. you can still scratch it.
I'm about to troll very nasty on your motorcycle. The worse I can come up with is... thats a clean ass bike. Good day.
Just give instructions how to clean. Somehow it's a waste of time watching the basics. And use a compressor to blow the water because you might have sprayed the electrical connectors it will heat up and corrode... check the spark-plug as well if it is dry... or let it dry on the sun before "STARTING" it.
Also use a toothbrush on hard to reach areas... LOL. Fortunately you cleaned a spotless bike.
Other than that... nice bike by the way.
lol.. Never happend to me.. I use the leaf blower on many diffrent cars, trucks, bikes.. Im a auto detailer. lol
are you crazy rideing your motorbike in shorts ?
half Filipino?
