    @TokyoThai yes its all good. bikes are weather sealed. people even ride under the rain. people park their bike on the street rain or shine. so few min of cleaning like this won't hurt the bike...

    Water alone does not make the bike rust. Its in combination with dirt/salt you have to worry. Motorcycles are built to tackle rain and of course they won't be damaged if you just lightly spray the bike with water.

    Hey bro, take that glove off the handle and detach the sprayer. Wrap some of the glove around the threads as tight as possible and screw the sprayer back tightly!
    It should stop the leaking!

    @kirkscream ahaha! thats is true. i treat this bike like a girl :D
    the recomended tire pressure is 36 in front and 40 on the rear. thats for regular riding. if u go to canyons or twisties usually the riders lower their tire pressure so it get warmer easy so it will stick to the ground more. and its more flexible to the ground contact. not like when its hard it tends to skid more when tire pressure is too hard.

    It may sound like a silly question but I have raced off-road my whole life and have just started on road but I are you supposed to actually hose a bike to clean it? I cleaned my dads bikes but he said not to use water. Are there downsides to using water?

    Is it better to ride a little bit and Air dry the bike or to wipe it down with a towel to dry it?

  • @PaintPunk09
    @PaintPunk09 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Its fine as long as you don't overdo it on stuff like the electronics, the controls, the brakes and in between the tank an frame where the airbox is. Just lightly spray these places or try not to at all and just wipe down with wet rags or something.

    i had a great deal with this bike thats why. i got it for $8,000 OTD. i like r6 too. i had r6 and i like it. they about the same. yamaha have a little wider sit. kawasaki have better mid range power. but when they both in high rpm they about the same. at 2009 - 2011 on all the review for 600cc motorcycle kawasaki zx6r is #1 at 2012 gsxr600r and zx6r are both in #1. thats according to motorcycle reviews. that helps making my decision to get the zx6r...

    Be careful with using a car detergent on you sport bike. Some car washing detergents have some type of wax compound (so you don't have to shine the car) that might coat your sport bike tires--watch out that you don't slip out on a curve! Stick to using detergents for bikes and make sure it's safe for tires.

  • @ragecage07

    while this is going on, you will notice all the crap on the ground from the tires and ect, also take a rage and get all the final light dirt off, and wait 5 min, till the foaming and simple green works, then just hose it off, and whipe down with a clean non scratch towl, DONE i use a Mother plastic wax every so oftern on all the plastic, and a good headlight cleaner on the front lense, its that simple, no bucket

    OOK,, first get a can or two of the BLACK MAGIC FOAMING wheel cleaner, and also a spray bottle of simple green for the real grimiy areas , and it also takes the road grim off of the tires, and they look bran new, spray the bike with the black magic warm bike works better, all of it, wheels, rims under area, wont hurt plastic, promise, then spray the simple green, 1/2 water 1/2 green in a spraybottle, full strength if needed, then take a soft brush, and get in the hard to reach area,

    Just give instructions how to clean. Somehow it's a waste of time watching the basics. And use a compressor to blow the water because you might have sprayed the electrical connectors it will heat up and corrode... check the spark-plug as well if it is dry... or let it dry on the sun before "STARTING" it.
    Also use a toothbrush on hard to reach areas... LOL. Fortunately you cleaned a spotless bike.
    Other than that... nice bike by the way.
