It feels weird because It's a new bike that you don't know what your doing with. Heavy on first for the engine braking.. it's meant to go or stop.. track that small you could have placed it in second or 3rd and had better experience since it's non competitive.

I freakin'love the ZX6R's, it was going to possibly be my step up bike from my 2019 Ninja 650, until that old lady smashed into me and ruined all my plans my body and totaled my bike. BUT, why the hell didn't Kawasaki put a TFT display on the brand new one?? It's 2021 for god's sake. I feel like Kawasaki made a big mistake on using that old tired display. So many other bikes now to choose from in this class that are edging out the ZX6R, granted they have a good price point, but for just a little bit more money you can get so much... Like in the Aprilla RS660 for example, even though it's a twin.
@@u-l-t-i whats wrong with bouncing off the limiter in 1st lap after lap? A lot, quick way to start destroying internals. Its fine hitting it, but dont bounce off for pretty much 20 minutes straight
This model bike would be so much better looking if they wouldn't have made the side panel so ugly. I usually like white bikes but that grey side panel sticks out like a sore thumb. I have the nightshade teal 21 and even in black the side panel just looks out of place. Can't get over it..
Stop blaming the bike your just not a track rider or need practice. And bike needs to be flashed because it not like the throttle is in and off but it is. Called oem mapping

deciding between a zx6r and an r6 on track, ive been told the zx6r's are super underrated and the r6 is well an r6.
It is hard to beat the zx6r for the money. The quickshifter is a nice bonus too

Because many of us still like the old school tachometers. Unfortunately wouldn't surprise me if next gen gets TFT.

The r6 has been passed onto George cook. The CDI will be replaced next.

I have the same bike got my ECU flashed and that throttle issue is all gone. totally different bike after that.
Youre not supposed to be slowing down in a turn. Minimum is to maintain your speed. Best is to slowly pick in up, depending on the scenerio..

No blame on the bike whatsoever, it was just an adjustment going from the r6 to that. R6 is much more leaned over.
