I watched a video where you described your set up with a Boston Sax Shop neck etc… did you change recently?

I'm still using it just was trying the one that come with this horn on this video :) The one that came with this JL Woodwinds artist edition tenor is very similar to the BSS neck but because of the angle of the BSS it gets a slightly better response. The hole on the octave key is also more open which is also making a difference on the BSS neck.
Good stuff. To this day, I invariably start a warm up with the ascending-descending major one in all keys. Gets my fingers moving. Interested in some minor patterns if you have any. Thanks.

@@SaxophoneSteveKortyka Melodic Minor one is fun, I should do that every day. Lately I’ve just been picking up-ish standards like My Shining Hour and playing one chorus in concert Eb, one in E, one in F, and so on. No metronome just internal time like George Coleman. Old school workouts. ;)

I want to follow along so bad but I'm quite confused by the way you're phrasing/accenting these 16th notes, what's going on? also how are you hearing the metronome?
Hey! This is a little more of an advance rhythmic concept but depending on what is being played i'm grouping things together as 3s, 4s, 5s or 6s. Have a look at the pdf here: www.stevekortyka.com/free and play around with some of the ideas while tapping your foot to the quarter note. That will hopefully provide some insight on what the different groupings feel like :)
