He's a great actor. I loved his caracter in Sleepless in Seattle, if I was Meg Ryan's caracter I wouldn't let him go!!!!! But I fell in love with Jack in While you were sleeping, my favourite romantic comedy of all time.
I believe he felt glad to be part of that movie and it showed his skills in being funny and still loving his manners with his co-stars in various movies but especially in "While You Were Sleeping."
He was the ideal man in While You Were Sleeping. So kind, adorable and sexy. I remember when that movie came out how guys I dated seemed really lame by comparison 😂

However, after being through some really tough heartbreaks in life, being in my 30s now, I wonder if there is any point in dreaming of meeting such a man. Do they even exist or are these movies only made for women to satisfy their fantasies? What do you think?
I think it's mostly to satisfy our (women's) fantasies. Although there isn't anyone 100% as 'perfect' as Jack was in the movie, there are some men who come very close, and you just have to accept the 10%, 20% or even 30% of their imperfections (some call it settling but it's not always that). I mean we have imperfects also. I am sorry about the heartbreaks you've experienced in your life so far, and I hope you heal. I think you should not write off meeting someone who will make your heart sing and skip a bit. Open your heart and do not rush back into it. You will know it when you meet him, as it will be so effortless.
Clearly Savannah had never seen While You Were Sleeping and had no idea what it was about since she seems to think it was Sandra Bullock who was sleeping throughout the movie!! Pathetic
Bill Pullman should have been given so many more romantic leads in the movies. He really was a very good actor and totally believable. There was just something about him that was magnetic. I think he was underutilised and underrated by Hollywood. His performance as President of the United States in the film "Independence Day" was brilliant. As a romantic lead his eyes and his body language say more than his words do, and I don't think that was directed, please correct me if I'm wrong. Bill Pullman ....great acting instincts, and such a likeable person.
