Make sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think about the T. Also what do you think I should name it? So far my favorite has been T Wrecks!
Depending on how far in the future you plan re: power and how much you want to spend, I'd be tempted by the vintage Caddy engine up locally, it would make it more of an early '60s period piece and a bit more uncommon. Got a soft spot for BBC, still...style wise guessing this will end up relatively close to that yellow one in your ad.
Hey Dan I was in your beautiful country in August I was in Toronto and Montreal I've got to come back there again one day and my wife absolutely loves the place so hopefully we can come back to your beautiful country and the people are just like Aussies so friendly so helpful not like the Americans my wife and I would live in Canada in a heartbeat
See, I love it. When TH-camrs collaborate. I just watched it on his channel was about done and yours popped up. Now. I get to see it from a different angle. This is always so much better. Not that your videos aren't great.
Dan the tea is coming along really nice and kind of quick to thanks to Brent at half ass. That's probably one of the best friendships you'll ever create in your whole life, you guys should create a partnership and open your own shop. That's what I would do. Name the car T for 2.
I just saw the same Collaborative Build on HalfAss Kustoms with you two. I think it's great that you're colleagues in Hot Rods and you both deserve all the complimentary credit that can be given! Brent's the better envisionary machinist but you're the better Narrator. He shows how to do stuff but you explain what's going on in better detail.
Brent at halfass kustoms is so bad ass he can take a bucket of rust break out his wielder and make a bad ass hot rod! I have never seen someone do what he can do with a pile of junk!
I own a 70ty C10. I redid it once, and I am almost done on its 2nd transformation. That being said, I love watching hot rods come together from vintage steel. Looking forward to seeing the T come together.
thats cool! Nice job. my dad and I had a buddy that had a whole bunch of stuff like that laying around with all kinds of tools and equipment and he'd let us use anything. He's gone on now and all his property got sold and cleaned out. all that stuff is probably melted down now! some guys just get after it and before you know it you're working with something. No sense standing around thinking about things.
At 3.44 the dog begins overseeing the build. LOL probably thinking hey fella you were going to build me a new insulated kennel today... this kennel dont look too well insulated. love your vids man my favourite watch for weeks now.
That was a GREAT vid. Brent is an awesome friend. He's got knowledge and talent. you two make an awesome team. HEY YOU CAN TAKE A HIT AND DID NOT FALL DOWN!!
I dig both projects. Halfass is doing something that has caught your interest, I'm sure not your first roller frame but no shame if it is as that always holds a guy back. Taking a break from the c10 will allow you to come back and finish. I have got started on stuff like it and so committed that too late to change to a different, not necessarily better but different outcome. I know that your holding costs down on the truck build cause they can be money pits. It will greek up when the primer goes on and some wheels of choice gives it direction. I like working as a team on some things but like the roadster that is next is halfass's regular day job and he is enjoying company and giving him a break as well from the 38 pontiac that has come to finishing touches. As it gets better, you need to sell to keep money coming in and its starting to warm the heart a little. Ya let them go before paint or then its harder still. I do comment on his stuff a lot so maybe or maybe not member my name. I just wish I was there doing some down and dirty makes you feel like you did something. While up there take a look at some of his front end/rear end attachments and see which way you go next time as you have enough to go back to back and its cheaper than building double nickel chevys. Anyway a hi to both and see if he does remember the name (me). You guys could team up on one build only spendy project for a club car or whatever turns your crank.... luck to both
Love your channel brother you prove you can build awesome car for little or no money you are truly old-school bro.thank you for all the information and ideas. time.hardwork.looking forward for more video's
@@DDSpeedShop your are very welcome there is a old junk yard near me in Rhode island were I live I am going this weekend I will keep my eyes open for parts that I mite think you would be interested in the place has been there since the late 40s love going too fined things.thank you again
This is the first time I saw this and I Love it! You two knocked this out really fast. I really want one so my searching hot rods brought me to you. I've been watching you quite a bit, I thought I subscribed if not I will now. I want to go back and see the rest of this build. Great job for both of you, I will check out his channel now.
I LOVE IT!!! Instant T..some assembly required. 😂 It's awesome to see a couple Hot Rodders get together and build something super cool. It's just badass to see a pile of junk come together into a work of art. LOVE IT..LOVE IT..LOVE IT!! Word of advice Dan...watch your head on the roof rail when you get out of it. Haha!! Can't wait to see what's next. Cheers from Saskatchewan
@@DDSpeedShop Haha!! Brent's a Helluva fabricator. You got a good man to help you out. Just saw his version of the build process. That man can make a silk purse out of a pig's asshole. Haha!!
Great job you two! Super happy for you and Queen D.The T looks super slick, glad to see a straight axle with hairpins on an open wheeler. The rear suspensions going to be fun to see come together more as things progress. It's going to be a whole different animal for you ...KEEP HAVING FUN WITH IT. It sure must be amazing to get to work with Brent.
Hi Dan I reckon you and Brett work very well together I think you should do more projects together I mean I love your channel and I like his channel that's just awesome to see both of you come together to help each other out I think you should call it the" crocodile rod" LOL bit of a Australian theme I love your work keep it up guys Jim from Australia
Pretty cool! Power to weight ratio it will be sick no matter what engine you stick in it! It's so light! Heck even a V 6 would be fast in that!!! An L S would be king Kong!!!
I love the t rod I love everything you build dan but my favorite is still the 55 then the t rod I wish we were neighbors lol but we would get into trouble with our better halves for spending too much time in the garage lol have a good day keep up the great work
Looks like a great fun project. And it is very cool that you are doing it with halfass customs, I follow him as well. It’s also great to see how much you guys got done over a weekend! 👍👍👍
I love chopped tops as well..... But as it already has a poor chop... I'd just clean up and finish the top and keep the remaining height! Those T are freaking cool.
good things always happen when the PBR comes out. i like the style. old school, just find some scrap and make it work. no fancy store bought parts. excellent
I posted before on your T . I do need to get back to mine it is so very close to getting a hot Rod as a daily driver. This one in inspiring . Thanks and I already subscribed to Halfass Customs and just subscribed to yours.
Watched Brent's show also-I am working on a 29 Essex coupe setting up my front and rear suspension. Parts are mostly from Craigs List , horse trading with friends and Speedway. Great info & atitude on getting it done. Thanks
I only wish I could be there to help! Nobody I know around here wants to do stuff like that with me. I'm jealous. Danielle says hello to you and yours!

Nice heavy 2x4 tube steel that is nice for the frame. Thanks this was a very good video to watch Im really excited about this build yes. Yeah makes the C/10 seem boring now that your doing this Model T. But you gotta get the C/10 running before you sell it Im sure someone will fall in love with it. How about RatTee.
it's like naming a junk yard dog.. T bone. so maybe the name "T bones" sums it all up. just saying. it's made from many old bones...

I’m wondering why you didn’t go with a suicide style front suspension. The spring perch is on the front of the frame.
i just dont really like the look of it
Great job you two are doing. Gonna look awesome. Love those bare bones hotrods, the way we did them when I was younger. Scrounge parts and make something that would look cool and go.
yup thats the best way to do it
I think the truck is going to turn out great but the t is going to be very interesting to watch putting together 👍
