Been loving the first descendant, knowing I’m in the beginning of a new MMO and can be a power player in the economy is a huge motivation for me. Was interested in this game but the mention of these seasons and wipes kinda throw me off, a reason why I stopped playing Diablo 4. I didn’t play the beta but looking at the video the gun play doesn’t look as punchy as TFD but I could be wrong. The public events seems cool though and remind me of the days of playing Defiance. Great video.
Yea we'll have to wait and see how seasons feel. I feel like it really depends on how easy it is to transfer things across seasons and what new content we get.
Likely will try it out, though that also depends on if I have enough space to install the game. So many good games have come out recently, so I may not have the space!
@LordKnightBane If it's the same at the initial story from the betas it's great for understanding the game and why everything is the way it is. I'm not personally a huge story driven gamer and enjoyed it.
I know litle about this game so does this game have microtransactions you know the pay to win bs or just cosmetic only things? do u have to play the season stuff or opt out and if u do play seasons but havent finished all that needs to b done will that count against you any meaning are you going to loose anything for not completing and is their controller support just some questions
@ec8423 Yes to MTX. There is a free and paid track for the season pass. Paid cosmetics. We have been told there is zero P2W. You don't have to play the seasonal stuff but the story is tied to it. Controller support should be there at launch (they had initial settings for it during the last beta).
Its a dope game i just need folks to play with. Seems like it would be even better with people. I made a 2 second review thats basically how i feel about the game
I hadn't! I was always nervous about managing things like hunger, thirst, etc and was afraid it would take away from the rest of the game. Boy was I ever wrong haha
@izzanirfan2534 I'm not 100% on all the PvP aspects of the game as I mostly dabbled in PvE in the betas. I'll be trying out PvP servers after launch. From my understanding there will be raids/big team battles between warbands of sorts with leaderboards and what not.
Did you read the review on steam? Mostly negative because your character is stuck on the server you chose, cannot delete, can't play with friends on other servers.

Yeah I notice a lot of pre-hype with this game by other TH-camrs who were brought in personally to play and meet the devs. Obviously things are changing in real-time so I imagine they will need to stay profitable while trying to stay positive with the community. That's a tough tight rope to follow. I dont like the weekly progress rest. Wish this would give more detail about hiw different servers affect everything but most stuff is tabled for August updates. I am happy with the 1st descendant so far in the meantime. I wish these once human guys got this game ready for proper crossplay before launching this early. Maybe they are worried about the 1st descendant hype train not sure. I can't preload this game on Steam or Android yet so why so early?
@@Tropicalplayer Nope. The only thing to spend money on is the paid track of the battle pass if you want it (there's a free track as well) or cosmetics.
@clarkmeyer7211 An optional subscription that gives gives you monthly currency to spend on cosmetics, yes. They didn't broadcast that before launch so I wasnt aware of it. But it's not a subscription to play. Or pay to win at all...BTW 🤦♂️
I'm having second thoughts on the survival side, but I want to shoot chtulu like monsters. I don't like survival games, already having hard time surviving in the real world.
I will be joining the Once Human hype train! This looks like a ton of fun

Can you raid houses? Is it like rust? Or more focused on pve

Do they reset the servers like in SCUM, because that ruins gameplay when you lose all your progress and stuff.
Haven't played SCUM so I couldn't tell you tbh

What about the microtranactions or in game enconomy? Besides the gatcha aspect is this pay to win overall? I have literally no clue if it's fair.
