The album is going into the Grammy Hall Of Fame on May 21, 2024. It's long overdue, but so deserved. It's a masterpiece.

I got exposed to G 'n R when I had to buy their records for my son since he wasn't old enough(thank you Tipper Gore). Since I was always a hard rocker from the '60's and early '70's, I drifted away from my kid's 80's music. My son was killed in August and I found myself mourning by playing a lot of Slash and the boys.

My friend, I am so sorry for your loss. That music is a reminder of simpler and happier times. Perhaps it was for your son too? I’m sure he listened to GnR because it put a smile on his face. Perhaps it can do the same for you in time? All the best to you and thank you

I can proudly say I own an original copy of this that I bought when released, and kept for all these years. This despite the urging of my wife to get rid of that "worthless vinyl collection." I am glad that I didn't listen to her lol, and I think she is glad I didn't either.

Your initial political-economic "analysis" was as unneeded as false. Attributing the recession to Reagan's policies is wrong. Recession (people holding on to their money) happens at the end of a socialist (ish) economic cycle of unhinged spending, towards a freeer system (Reagan's).

I appreciate your taking the time to watch and comment. It means a lot, even if we don’t agree. A recession is an economic downturn. Whether or not it was triggered by social spending is irrelevant. The 2008 recession was triggered by big finance and trade gaming the system until it collapsed.
