One important aspect is budgeting. Making sure your expenses align with your income can set a strong foundation for financial stability.
Definitely! And considering long-term goals like retirement and education expenses for your children is essential. Proper planning can make a big difference
It's also important to think about how the global economy can impact your portfolio. Economic downturns or market fluctuations can affect investments, so diversification and staying informed are key
That's true. Espcially a single mother like myself needs to be even more vigilant about her finances, especially considering the added responsibility of taking care of children alone.
the problem is that you don't have the knowledge needed to succeed in a challenging market. Only highly qualified professionals who had to experience the 2008 financial crisis could hope to earn a high salary in these challenging conditions.
Recently, I've been considering the possibility of speaking with consultants. I need guidance because I'm an adult, but I'm not sure if their services would be all that helpful.
As a former bank teller, don’t ever deposit cash in an ATM envelope. Person at bank opening those envelopes may take the cash. Deposit through drive thru or go inside. Love your videos
I agree. I will take money out of an ATM, but depositing money through the ATM just doesn't sit well with me.
@@brianpulliam1100newer atm’s let you put bills in and it scans the bills and keeps an accurate count of total deposit,Then it prints out a receipt for your records
Even if you have the receipt? And don’t they have cameras there
ATM deposits or Night Drops are verify by two people working inside the bank. The head teller or teller manager and the assistant manager or manager or supervisor checks the deposits. I can attest because I have worked at banks and I have done ATM or Night Drops deposits.
@@user-fb4nx6uz2eagree! Dual control protocols are implemented to prevent this very thing from happening. There is the possibility that both tellers may be in on it but the probability is slim.
For the races, walks, charity events, etc. I have a category labeled "Events". It helps me set a budget for the next year. As to eating out- we heal how we heal and grieve how we grieve- no shame. Sorry for the loss of your mom. No matter how old we are, losing our mothers changes who we are as women. Thanks for all that you do for us.
Great video as always. Not all of us use instagram, you do have a large following here on you tube. Wish you would share more on here.
We really like when you put these longer videos together, thank you
Love when you discussed the concepts of moving money vs spending it (around 15:00 ish) . I personally struggle with this concept which is why I went cashless entirely. Cash also involves saving receipts or remembering to write the spending down immediately and both habits have been impossible to form for me. I've learned that ADHD can really negatively impact your financial behaviors and I'm starting to reflect on that and learn what does and doesn't work for me by revisiting creators that inspire me. Thank you for continuing to share so openly.
Thank you for your video, I do not go on Instagram. So helpful, please share more on youtube. I buy your budget book and I still haven't started because I am a senior and still have issues. Thank you for sharing your baby, he is so cute.
I started your program a few years ago and got really into it, making goals, paying off debt, etc. Then I got laid off and made much less money the following year. It was a huge emotional setback for me, not just a financial setback. I felt like what hope I was gaining was suddenly lost.
I'm so glad you're posting to TH-cam again, it is motivating to work with what I have and get real about my new financial reality. Your method is the best for any budget, because it is my money my way. Thank you for posting!
Hi mom I follow you from several years, I’ve learnt a lot, more aware of my finance… & much more be learned. Can you make some video where show me how to teach this knowledge with our kids how to apply in daily life. Or what you do to teach tip & tricks. Thank you very much, all the best ❤to the beautiful soul
its so hard for those with ADHD. saving up for something goes right out the window because the executive function doesnt create an urgency for the budeting
My bills are all organised and automatically get paid in full, on time but I am struggling with my sinking funds. I know I need them for future financial stability but am worried that if I put too much towards them then I will not have enough to live off on a daily basis.
HIS HANDS ARE SO PRECIOUS AND HE LOOKS LIKE A VERY HAPPY AND SO CONTENT BABY! THANKS FOR SHOWING US YOUR PRECIOUS LITTLE ANGEL! Blessings....
I absolutely LOVE this modge podge for the whole month!!
💙💜💙
It's neat to see how we plan diligently, yet life happens.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos! And I really appreciate the fact that your 100 envelope challenge is actually going to be affordable and not super expensive.
please make these videos like every month
Loved this! It was so motivating to spend a bit of time each day to update the budget! I’m an athlete and I have a sinking fund specifically for race entry fees, so I would have used money from my sinking fund! If I were you I would use the health and wellness category! ❤ Good luck!
This video was great! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your financial routine and being able to see how if you create a financial routine every day how much quicker it can be and how just that little bit of time each day to update etc means that you don't fall behind on tracking and makes your budgeting less overwhelming.
I just bought my first "Live Rich Planner" to help me get organized with everything a move entails since we are finally relocating to be closer to our grandbabies 🎉
Hi Miko!
I’m finishing up my senior year of college soon and struggling to make rent. I want to learn how to live more frugally, but it’s so hard with groceries and I feel like I miss out on a lot of things my friends get to do. Do you have any advice on how to save money and make money? I have a part time job but looking to make more.
Thanks!
(PS: I also lost my mom. It’s so hard and I try to talk to her when I’m doing things I love, too. ♥️♥️♥️)
How to save money- don't spend any. Seriously, just for the basics. How to make more money- find a second job/full-time jobs/more jobs.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your mom. I lost my mom too and talk to her all the time. Hugs
So glad to see you ! I am selfish and missed you ! Prayers to you and yours I know your stilling missing mom ! ❤❤❤❤glenda. Ohhhhhh I owe you an update ! Paid off my last debt (bought a 2024 car in Nov ! Paid it off in full May 1 ) and now completely debt free ( house paid off) retirement begins for hubs June 30 !!! Thank you for all you do ! You helped me make it ❤
Loved that "aha" moment on the planner cover! We both thought it at the same time!!😂😂
Thanks for breaking this down into what looks like manageable, bite-sized pieces. And FOR SURE, your Free Resource Library is an incredible resource!
Really like this format! Love your budget materials, your freebies got me started on this journey btw so Thank-you!
I absolutely loved this video. Thank you so much for sharing all these days in one video. 🥰
Always appreciate your reviews. Thanks Miko!
I loved this compilation!!! Thank you for putting it together.
Miko now you have your second son you have to update your opening of your video including your hubby and the new addition to the family your baby.
Great idea! I have no idea how old her son is now, probably 12 or 13?! I didn't even know about the baby!
Miko, I really enjoyed this video! It helps us to understand what we should be doing on a daily basis to keep up with our budget. This video encourages me to incorporate into my daily routine a time to do my budget and thorough out the month to make sure our budgeting and spending is aligning with what we want to accomplish with our money and to in real time daily think about what is going on and how it aligns to any goals we have, being aware of our patterns and behaviors when it comes towards our money. At times I do not get a chance to watch Instagram in the morning to watch your morning routine, tips and reminders. This video collection of that helps me to keep up and also to keep in the front of my brain to remember my money goals for the month and to keep up with tracking daily. I should print your financial routine worksheet and incorporate it to my night routine to track my spending and work on my financial routine. Thank you so much Miko for ALL that you do for us, it is really appreciated, REALLY!!😊❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍🤗💐
I would put the race under "Health" as it to me is a less "guilty" expense and it is a motivational tool for health! Good luck in the race and good for you!
New subbie from the budgeting community.
I always put my running expenses, including races, under health because that's what I'm doing it for. Yes, it's also fun but my main reason for running is health (both mental and physical).
Loved this! Thank you!
I love that you did this! I've watched them on Instagram but it is great to see a whole month! Question, I must have missed a video on the new BBP but man I'm so excited for the smaller version. I have been a boxed set girlie since finding you and was so bummed to not have them anymore. Can't wait!
I loved this video. Thank you so much for sharing it. I liked seeing how you handle your finances every day. People say they do but it was very enlightening to actually see it. I love using cash envelopes but I’m anxious to see how you like using the cashless method.
I really enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing on YT, it's my only social media account. Looking forward to those new products.
Just subscribed, loved watching this! Super helpful resources, thank you for sharing! 🎉
I’m confused. When you used Walmart grocery pick up, you took the money out of your money envelope for food and then deposited into your checking account. You entered it on your expense checking tracker as a debit coming out of your account. How do you then enter it going back into your checking account? Otherwise, in my mind you have, charged yourself twice once out of your cash envelopes and once on your checking expense tracker. Thank you in advance for clearing this up for me.
Great video! As a distance runner myself, I have a hobby envelope for race fees as I consider running a fun hobby! good luck with the windemere race. I am running in the Dublin half this september while we're holidaying there :)
Loved this video, it was super helpful!
Depends on where they go through the ATM deposits. Plenty of people deposit empty envelopes, a receipt only proves you used the ATM. Unless you hand it to a person and get a receipt, a receipt proves nothing. Imagine losing your wallet filled with cash, how do you prove that? Your bank withdrawal receipt? Was the cash really in your wallet? Bottom line, takes 3 min to go through drive thru or inside bank. If you value your money, take the time.
I love this video.
New in your channel and I love it. It’s kind my personality. 😊
Got your wallet that i ordered, here in Portugal and i am so happy with it!! It is amazing and such good quality 💖 Blessings 🙏
For Marathons and events like that, I would call it Events, that way even if it was for charity or giving it is covered
I 😍the new Budget By Paycheck cover!! So pretty and yes sign me up for the smaller version!!! I am glad you just changed the cover on your current book!!! 😅
Yes yes yes so helpful ❤
This was so helpful! I am not on Instagram. Thank you!
Great video; first time viewer; so curious why you just didn’t use the cash you had in your files for the groceries ??
I've always loved your videos. I haven't watched in a while and since I haven't been responsible with my spending I'm trying to crack down. However I feel lost now on your videos. All the worksheets except the tracker seems complex. 😓
Really enjoyed your video.
If it works Ur on the right track
Really enjoyed the video Dante is getting really big
I love the AHA Moment with the interchangeable covers! "*GASP* IT'S AN INTERCHANGEABLE COVER!" Hilarious!
I love your videos
Love the video! I would say the running should go under health and beauty. I don’t classify running as “fun”.. but I know a lot do ❤️❤️
Hi Miko! I’m actually in the process of getting images together to create my own vision board. Where did you get yours? I love the style! Thank you!
Check out Terri Savelle Foy for vision board inspiration.
That’s the way it’s supposed to work. I have seen different branches be short staffed and not follow that practice. You have no proof if cash goes ‘missing’ or an ‘empty’ deposit envelope is put in machine, which happens often.
Hi Miko when in May will the challenge box be available?
Baby Dante is so cute! ❤
Nice video ❤🎉
Do you have or will you have a video on how many accounts you have in the bank?
Nice goals
I love Vision Boards mine came true
What is the best high yield savings account? Also what is the best way for someone to start investing?
is there a reason for using actual cash vs using your debit card?
I love that you did this!!! I don’t always have time to get on Instagram… mainly cause it sucks me in. Loved getting to see all that I missed through the month.
I have a sport category for races, gears, subscription, etc.
The started updating price on pick up o think
Hi 😀 I would put the running of the 10k as a donation because the money is raised for a good cause I'm guessing. At least that's how it is for any 5ks I do.
Marathon fee~~~I think health and beauty 😁
Tough lesson to learn ATMs are not full proof ways to deposit money. Hope it gets resolved in your favor soon!!
OMG! YOUR BABY IS BEAUTIFUL!
Seems to me if you monthly inflow is 16,000+ you really need to up your investments
On the anniversary of my Dads Death and his birthday I always eat his favorite food :)
Under Fun!
Running a race for me is a hobbie. So I would track it as Fun
💜💙💜💙💜
Sarah
You can still go out with your friends just order less
Eat at home or take some food with you
That way your takeaway don’t go over your budget
Cute little guy!!!❤
This is confusing.
Are you going to Europe as I saw Euro in your wallet.
Yes she’s doing a baking camp or something in Switzerland later in the year
Good morning
I can’t wait to finish the video
Are you going to share the same videos that you are going to do on Instagram over here? I don’t have Instagram 😉
Not all videos, but some 🙂
Hi Milo, where did you get your vision board from? I love it and I’m getting ready to create my own vision board!
I wish you would share all your videos on youtube. How is Ryan doing?
💜🖤💜🖤
