Just a tip on spraying muffin pans: You will get better coverage if you hold the tray vertically and spray directly into each cavity individually (best done over the sink, because that aerosolized grease has a tendency to fall, and it's easier to contain that and clean it up in a sink than on your countertop). My guess would be that the cooking spray is foaming because of a poorly-made spray nozzle that clogs easily and maybe because the product itself contains a high proportion of propellant.
I hope you get this. I had been trying to get that crack candy to work & had wasted 2 pans of it. The recipe I had said cook it at 425 & 2 sticks of butter. They came out too hard to eat. Your was turned out perfectly. Thank you for the tip bc they call it crack candy bc it's addictive. LOL I don't know how to tag you so I hope you see this. I'm 65 & you teach me stuff all the time so thank you for these videos.
I bought a little re-fillable oil spray bottle and it's been going strong for a year or two. Highly recommend, if you can invest in one. It's cheaper in the long run, and less messy to spray, in my opinion. Spraying over the sink is so simple and smart, though!

Unlike regular oil or spray oils that are 100% oil, cooking spray typically contains lecithin, which is what tends to build up on non-stick cookware, but it's an emulsifier, and it's what permits the oil in cooking spray to disperse thinly and evenly and cling to cookware or bakeware.
These videos remind me of when I was a kid. We were poor but made the most out of everything we had. While I don't miss being poor, i do miss those times and my family. These videos are nostalgia. Thank you for them.
Before the pandemic, I used to do a lot of community theater, and would always "cater" (well, cook) the opening night cast parties, and I have to say that if you want your friends to think you're fancy, get yourself a mini cupcake/muffin tin, because people don't seem to believe that home cooks can make mini things like that. I've used the tins to make cupcakes and muffins and also mini quiches and other savory things. It's like being a real caterer, just from that one tin!
You can always make scones with the muffin mix, just use sour cream instead of any liquid, then just add enough sour cream to make a dough, form into a round flat loaf, cut like you would a pie..... separate a little, bake as usual, you can sprinkle with course sugar for that bakery look as well..... I have used this recipe many times for scones...... ❤ So glad your growing on your channel, Congratulations! Thank you for sharing all your videos.

I do not shop at the dollar tree, due to being a diabetic and I am highly sensitive to sodium, therefore I always make things from scratch. I do appreciate and enjoy watching your channel. I like how you are always able to pivot if an item is not available and make due with what is. I heard a lot of people mention that everything at the dollar tree is $1.25 now.

I just went to DT and rounded up ingredients to make her copycat Crumbl Cookies. I found little Christmas gift boxes (5 per package) to box 2 or 3 cookies in each for presents. 🍪🎁

You have to go from your google account to "My Activity" and then find "Other Activity" in the side panel, and in that section there's "TH-cam Subscriptions" where you can view the timeline of channels you've subscribed to. Searching "my google activity" in google should be enough to get you to the "my activity" page to start.

Congratulations! I'm not surprised because you do a wonderful job. This platter idea is great and as you said you can change out any of the items according to your preference. I can picture a large family opening gifts and just going to get something to eat when they want and have some good choices.

How do you check when you subscribed to a TH-cam channel?
@@danadyd59 It's a little convoluted since you can't do it on youtube. I had to look it up. You have to go from your google account to "My Activity" and then find "Other Activity" in the side panel, and in that section there's "TH-cam Subscriptions" where you can view the timeline of channels you've subscribed to.
Searching "my google activity" in google should be enough to get you to the "my activity" page to start.
