    This diet has changed my life, Kristina, if you ever see this message I want to thank you for introducing me to this life changing lifestyle. I was 18 eating fast food almost every single day, I was sick and tired of feeling bad about myself even though I wasn’t obese or overweight. I started from scratch, it was so dramatic, I shaved my head threw away all my clothes and started building myself up, I went to Whole Foods and I stocked up on fruits, veggies, and nuts. I threw away everything in my pantry. The first couple of weeks were hard, but I managed to cleanse my body by drinking juices. It has been 9 months since I started and I’ve never felt so good about myself, I feel like I’m in my body, I feel like I own myself, like I’m in control. I started taking care of myself. 9 months ago I couldn’t run or jog for 5 minutes without getting off the treadmill, now I run for two hours straight without feeling like I wanna die. I started collecting things that I love, eating food that is real, and changing my life. My life went from a blurry black and white landscape to a colorful valley filled with my favorite things.

    there was a special on 20/20 they tested fruit in the grocery store that had been handled by customers, they found feces, bacteria among other things. you defiantly want to wash your fruit even organic fruit. Many times I have seen little kids put their runny nose hands on the produce and one woman that shops at my organic market opens 5-6 berry boxes, pokes them before she decides which one to buy.

    I'm here to support what Kristina says. She's absolutely correct about everything. If I made a video I would say the same thing now that I know. I was vegan at 60-70% raw and made the leap to 100% daily 4 days ago. Wow! There was a difference when I went vegan and there's an even bigger difference at 100%. Thank you Kristina as you were part of the inspiration.
    If you're not vegan you have no idea what you're missing. I wish I had done it sooner in my life and I wish when I first saw this video 4 months ago I jumped in to the raw vegan lifestyle then. But here's the thing, I'm happy I'm here now and I'm healthier for it, which is the bonus since I went vegan for the animals first. My weight is great, I look great people say, and I feel great. Peace!

    Also, some veggies like carrots provide MORE vitamin A when cooked! They don't have to be mush but just a quick steaming or toss in a saute pan. Microwave kills nutrients so I try to use for the occasional quick warm up of leftovers. I personally do not cook food in there

I love sweets and this is a weakness. Other than that, I am waiting for the spiralizer and will take each day at a time to eat fully raw with at least 90 percent of my meals with the family. I wouldn't call those people friends to begin with.
      There are some Facebook groups you can go to.
      I'm on a vegan page called 'Vegan Friends" but don't go there if you only do it for your own health but the main reason for the animals.
      Otherwise there are a bunch of raw food groups where you can join.
      In your case the best is to go to closed groups so your "friends" won't see what you post or like there and comment on it or call you out for it like they did already.

If you don’t believe me, go look at her video with her *actual* blood test results and tell me how her extremely elevated triglycerides, low HDL, and low iron levels are “healthy”. I gave sound advice, she obviously can do her own research and make decisions for her personal diet.

    I decided to take on the Raw Vegan Lifestyle today. I was vegetarian for 8 years approx 10 years ago & the last 2 years of the 10, I was Raw. I haven't had clear skin or a slim body since. Today I had no meat. I ate a Raw breakfast & lunch. I decided to dedicate myself to A Living Foods Lifestyle. I've tried every other way of eating... High protein, No starch, Low Fat, Low Sugar & Low Salt but I don't feel or look good. I know what's best for me is Uncooked Fruits & Vegetables. After 2 bags of butted popcorn & a bowl of cereal, I bid my farewell to dead food & snacks. Thank you for being you Kristina. Setting the standard & Standing strong in what you believe Unapologetically!

    I'm glad she's doing this channel because I'm getting a few ideas, especially when it comes to juices and smoothies. I'm eating about 70% raw, however I like to have some chicken, prawns or salmon in my salad about 2 or 3 times a week. And to be honest (folks in Britain will understand this), sometimes at the end of the week all you want is go to the pub with your friends and have a few glasses of wine with a burger. I think it's all about balance, I know I couldn't do it 100% (that would be a social suicide), but it's good to eat clean during a "normal" week.

    It really is a good thing to buy loads of veggies and to eat the all because in America, supermarkets throw away tonnes of fresh vegetables when they think its on the shelf too long when they're actually good, and these vegetables rotting in landfills emits a lot of methane gas which in turn contributes to net supply of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

I think I'm going to set a challenge for myself - I'm going to eat only raw before 12pm every day for a month - and if I like it, build to raw lunch. I've learned that drastic changes = setting myself up for failure. I'm lucky that I live close by to many grocery stores that offer cheaper produce than your typical store. Can't wait to go grocery shopping :-) thanks for opening a window of knowledge and can-do attitude for me Kristina!

Or do what I do and save seeds from the fruits and veggies that you buy, grow your own food, I grow alot of mine, it brings your food bill down a hell of alot, ive only just started the Raw vegan life and already I feel fab, but growing my own veg and herbs , lemon, lime , Apple and orange trees has made it alot more easier and cheaper and I know where my food comes from and whats in it etc.. I think I'm going to go partially raw/mostly raw. My family eats a lot of meat, so it will be nearly impossible to go fully raw while living here. I'm too young to move out, but when I do I might go fully raw.
    I don't care for meat, especially when I think about it eating it. I remember that I'm eating an animal and it makes me lose my appetite.
    I'm probably going to switch out some of my meats (that I don't really eat anymore anyway) with fish. I prefer fish over meat. Especially since thinking about it doesn't make me too nauseous (unless I saw the fish alive before it was cooked...).
    I love fruits and vegetables so it shouldn't be /too/ hard to make the switch ^^.

      I was a pescetarian for 7 years. I was also an athlete, so I really was told to "please eat the fish for protein" because although there were other meals that could provide me with enough protein, I generally didnt (and still don't) eat a lot to get enough vitamins and minerals from a vegan lifestyle. So yeah, just keep a balanced diet and you'll feel great! I usually have four peaches or three bananas and raw honey for breakfast, a bed of greens and veggies alongside with grilled fish or chicken for lunch or sometimes gluten-free or organic pasta and a diced tomato, olive oil and basil with grilled chicken for lunch, more fruits for snack, and it's usually a huge bowl of whatever soup we have (cause winter is coming and I need to keep warm) for dinner.
      I've ALWAYS wanted to go fully raw, or fully vegan because people claim it makes them feel so good, but I have found that eating very healthy, and eating a balanced diet with proper exercise MAKES me feel so good too! p.s., I also indulge, I have a brownie here and there, a cheat day here and there, but I'm happy cause I'm NOT restricting myself from once in a while junk. IDK, I just thought of sharing with you since I felt the same way before. I hope this helps. :)

      You will need to grow your own. Use any extra money you may have to buy vegetable/fruit seeds. Watch you tube videos on how to start your own garden. If you live in a place with no land for gardening there are vertical garden towers. May need to do a gofundme with family and friends to help you.

    I've been a subscriber to Krisina's for years. She has great energy, and always good tips.I juice for people who have various stages of cancer, find health and healing in the divine raw nutrients. I know the benefits of juicing and have juiced for years and for thousands of people. People are sick bc the body is acidic from consuming processed cooked foods, these foods do not contain live enzymes, and sugar consumption also feeds yeast which creates a candida effect within the body. This suppresses the immune system and makes one feel lethargic. When you juice and break the cell wall open on all the glorious fruits and veggies you extract the nutrients in the live form, and these enzymes go right to work in the body. Anyway, I am blabbing. Check my channel out if you want juice tips. I just did a video on the Celeriac and how it literally BURNS FAT, and I am not making that up. Also I did one on the glorious benefits of Frankincense as well. Hope all you guys have a great day. I love raw foods! Peace...

      We know now depression and anxiety and mainly caused from an unhappy gut where 70% of the serotonin in your body is created. Heal your gut you will heal your mind. Eating raw vegan will ultimately heal your gut, either way give up as much sugar as possible, and gluten, and alcohol, and low quality "food". Easier to just go raw vegan most of the time. Sugar destroys the gut feeds cancer causes mental illness, all the food is poison.

      +Pamelina says
      we all got messed up in our heads
      imagine 10 million years ago...people just ate fruits leaves and nuts (and sometimes if nothing else is available meat in winter)
      the sugar u find in table sugar or high fructose corn sirup for example is highly refined - it "technically" still the same thing but human bodies evolved to the real stuff with all the other things (phytonutrients/fibers/water) still around it
      same goes for oil - fat is...(despite what she says in her videos ;p) not bad for u...at least not all fats like polyunsaturated fats found in avocado for example...however oil is the processed version of it...eating sunflower seeds is okay or even great for u...but drinking oil is really nothing i can recommend
      same goes for proteins...u know these weird protein supplements/shakes...they r also a processed food... ur body is so much better at processing what it has gotten used to over the past 3ish billion years
      obviously there is a lot of retarded misinformation on the internet...but if u think about it evolutionary speaking it all makes sense :p

    I HAVE been living the raw vegan lifestyle and YES it is very expensive. I got some nice discounts at my local farmer's market, but planning meals is tough and to buy the amount of fruit needed is sooo expensive!! I just try to eat as much raw fruit and veg as I can, but I use brown rice/pasta/ tofu etc in the evenings to bulk up my meals.

  • @David8024667

    I would like to go on an all raw diet. But, I don't think I would want to stay on it 24/7 (365 days a year). So, is this something that I could do maybe 3-5 days out of the week and then the other days maybe I could eat meat dishes?!!? But, yet, STILL have a lot of health benefits?!!? And, one of the things that scares me the most is that if I was to go FULLY raw in my diet and then, later on, I was to go OFF of it a little (or, all the way), that my body would violently react to the fact that I was eating meats again. I have a friend who is usually always eating nothing but raw foods. And, when he came to visit me from out of state, he ended up eating a little meat while at my Mom and Dad's house. He then got a severe stomach ache and got really sick from his' eating meat. So, I guess that's why I would want to never TOTALLY go meatless (at least for a long period of time). That's why I want to eat meatless only 3-5 days out of the week, I guess (and NOT go all the way vegetarian). Was just wondering if I would still reap a lot of the benefits from eating raw if I didn't do this 24/7. Any advice?!!? Thanks!!! (=

    • @huriye161
      @huriye161 10 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Of course you will reap a lot of benefits from it. It's much better than NOT having fruits and veggies on a regular basis. Definitely go for it every step of nutrition counts.

    • @David8024667
      @David8024667 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      huriye kantar I will do that. Thanks!!! Don't know when lol. But, I *am* going to start doing this very soon. Just have to MAKE myself do it. Ya know what I mean?!!? I keep saying I will do it tomorrow. But, tomorrow never comes. I just got a "vegan starter kit" in the mail and am going to try to implement some of the things they said to do into my own life. No time better than the present. Wish me luck!!! :)

    • @huriye161
      @huriye161 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      David8024667 I am in the same boat keep telling myself I will do it and I never do lol. I think it's better to go "regular" vegan rather than fully raw as long as u don't over do cooking with vegetables just only a few minutes of light steaming because some vegetables actually increase in health benefits when light steamed and not boiled to death so I would say be fully raw and "normal" vegan with the occasional lean meat meal.

    • @David8024667
      @David8024667 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      huriye kantar There ya go!!! Now, that sounds like a plan. And, I know what you mean when you say that some vegetables are actually BETTER for you when you lightly steam them. Tomatoes are a good example of that. It is better for a man's prostate if he slightly cooks them (or steams them). And, yeah, I don't know if I could EVER give up meat completely (although I want to because I hate the way that animals are treated just so that WE can eat them). I cannot stand the thought of animal cruelty. So, that is a HUGE factor in MY wanting to go vegan (and, of course, just wanting to get more healthy, too).

    Barbara, I recommend finding a fruit and veggie co-op in your area. In Houston, Kristina runs FullyRaw. But in Austin (for example) there is Greenling. In most of the Western US there is Bountiful Baskets. When you participate in weekly things like these you get an abundant amount of Fruits and Veggies every week ... the benefit is that they come with a community and usually the community will share recipes for the stuff in the basket. I'm not aware of the East coast, so if you are there, sorry!

      +Purplemetall007 Yeah I have heard it was mainly the dried fruit to be careful with like dates & prunes. Dates can be very chewy and sticky and might be damaging to the gums. I usually brush & floss right after eating dates.

      Not if you're not buying meat or dairy. What you usually spend on those you can spend on produce instead.

      You would be surprised. I thought the same thing. I actually save money. We don't eat out and meat and dairy are also expensive. I am not fully raw, but still eat high raw and I have found ways to afford it. Search around and learn where to buy the cheapest. I buy some things from Trader Joe's, but then some things are cheaper at another store. I rotate my shopping trips to different places and also buy what is in season.

      When I shop at a regular grocery store, the bill comes to the same as an average omnivore's cart. When I shop at asian grocery stores or bulk stores, it's actually cheaper.
