Cool I'm going to try this when my dsp comes. Currently front rear and sub on 5 channel. Watching this I'm gonna need a small amp and some tweets for window pillars.. then I use this to set tysm
@Jon Gardner New video uploads to TH-cam sometimes take a while. When the video is first uploaded, TH-cam processes the low resolution versions first just to get the content published fast, but it may take a few hours or even a full day to process the higher resolution versions of the livestream or upload. Check back in a few hours or tomorrow to see if the higher resolution 720P or 1080P options of this video become available. EDIT: While I was typing my initial response above, the video was only available up to 360P resolution. But by the time I finished typing my reply and checked again, the 480P and 720P versions had already appeared. :)
Hello 👋 I’m facing an issue with my audio interface. I still did not connect the microphone to the audio interface but tun software is picking up frequencies is it normal?
Is there anything I can do to my sample rate of my usb mic input to match my sample rate of my signal generator which is labtop Bluetooth? Signal generator can only be set to 44100 and my input usb mic can only be set to 48000 to not get yellow triangle. When I have both input and signal generator selected I get a the yellow triangle. Any help will be appreciated.
I'm sorry to ask, but do you guys have certified techs scattered around the country? I'd love to have my system professionally tuned, but I've been to three different "pros" in the Denver area, but I think they only know enough to be dangerous. How do I find someone who really knows this stuff?
Absolutely! Please refer to our online dealer locator to find a list of local authorized JL Audio dealers, installers and distributors near you: www.jlaudio.com/dealers Look for the "Signature" dealer logo as those shops often have a bit more technological training.
Finding an authorized dealer doesn't necessarily mean you'll be finding someone who knows what they're doing. I had my stereo upgraded in my 2020 F150, and had a JL audio VX1000 5i amp installed. This was done by an authorized dealer. Other than the basic setup, they did no tuning whatsoever. Every eq and trim level was untouched, all set flat, and the overall sound reflects it. I've had to do a lot of tweaking on my own. I'd agree that finding an authorized dealer is a good start, but that doesn't necessarily mean the tech there knows the product and its features as well as you'd expect.

Mic calibration files on quality devices rarely have much deviation, so this is not generally needed. That being said, we will be adding the ability to upload mic calibration files in a future version of TuN
The moving mic method could be used if manually tuning, but for Auto EQ it will eq based on the mic position at the point they press auto EQ, so we can't say that would be the most effective approach. You could do a fixed Auto EQ and then maybe move the mic around to see if you need or want to use a couple bands of EQ to alter what the fixed positions dictated.
@@JLAudioInc thanks for the reply. So if I understand you correctly; So if using Tune 4 and using less just the JL Audio 4 way target curve, But will be manually entering the recommended values into my (another DSP) Tune 4 can average the different positions similar to how REW does it and than once the measurement is captured for that driver we can enter the recommended eq adjustments into our dsp? Or is that still considered the auto tune feature?
Great video 👍. How can one look at phase data using a sound card and mic? I noticed that there are no options on the TuN SW.

Excellent! We appreciate the kind words and support!
There’s so much involved with this software, and I’m a beginner. I got a TWK-88 and a Dayton Audio UMM-6. I’m still lost after watching this video 😬

Going to try with focus rite
Can you measure phase with a single USB mic or do you need some kind of loopback capability like REW or Smaart does?
Can I do time delay with the usb mic method?
Always love the details of the content! It does look not as clear as the live stream did.

Glad you're enjoying the content. The higher resolution versions should now be available. Please let us know if any problems remain. Thank you!
@JLAudioInc Please, would you let Tun Software still be available for Catalina? Ty so much.

Do you use pink periodic noise for tweeters mids mid bass etc?

Can you use the moving mic measurement technique with Tune 4 Software in simulation mode? Thanks in advance for all your help.
