Huge kudos to Rob, Kevin, and Steve for putting together these training videos. The more I become familiarized with TUN4, I realize just what an incredibly powerful tool it is. By applying the initial input sensitivity and crossovers to my TwK88, I've got a system that far eclipses the last six I've had in my 15+ years of self installs. Can't wait to apply the info from this vid and perform auto eq to target via dual instances of TUN4. Thanks again guys, and huge thanks to the JL Tech Support Team for always providing quick replies with concise info.

Another great video, the TUN software is on another level, it’s meant no need for an analyser etc, measurement and tuning on a laptop with just a usb mic will make life easier. Looking forward to the MAX😎

17:00 mark. Setting Levels with Pink Noise wave file. What volume is the Pink noise being played in the car when tuning? I’m listening to the speaker and making sure that it plays clearly without any clipping issues. But let me make sure I’m still understanding this correctly. I’m still listening to the pink noise not actually music, correct? As I begin to set the DRC levels appropriately.

I like making you guys laugh! At 1:18:29 I cracked a joke about Kevin who is a really cool dude and Glenn. Rob had his pic up about a comment Glenn made just moments prior seen at 1:17:01. I cracked the joke "Glenn is a prime example of what Kevin is going to look like in 5 years!" Which is what prompted Kevin to laugh. I got Steve a couple of times as well as Rob in the past. Bring it on fellas next round! Seriously I like to roast people once in a while. I had to a bit in the session to roast Kevin and Glenn a bit. Love you all at JL Audio, and Glenn Too! I look forward to seeing you guys next time!

Is there a reason you didn’t add a way to “tare” the target curve??
Instead of risking the whole too high or too low thing, couldn’t the user play the pink noise then “tare” the target to set it close to the average db being played, then auto set eq?

When is the functionality going to be brought over to the Twk?

No official word on TwK yet, but we are hoping to add the TwK functionality in the next few months. Please check back for any updates

Steve explains it far better then Kevin...Kevin speaks as if the viewer knows how to use the software...and for someone like me who has never used tun but on helix ..I would want to see what it can do without them being all over the place

This is less of a training and more of a podcast

Certain episodes may certainly feel that way given the structure. Regardless, we do hope people take home nuggets of knowledge and information each time.

I would love to see shorter videos without Steve jumping in on everything.
