@@manvendrasinghrawat2492 you should really try it its gonna change your life but buy it on sale together with the dlc cos its such a beautifully made game
I just played it for the first time it’s fun and it’s scary and I don’t get scared from games normally, daytime isn’t bad but it changes at night, i go from being a badass overpowered acrobatic to me running for my life from the night zombies the music is really well done and chilling, I can’t believe I never played it earlier I love games with any parkour and combat and zombies it’s literally my type of game
It’s probably my favorite zombie game right now, the zombies kinda remind me of the last of us zombies in a sense that they are scary but the last of us zombies can sometimes be repetitive and dying lights zombies move in a realistic physics based way and it could be a different experience each zombie you fight
They did such a great job creating the stark difference between playing in the day and playing at night that is so fun, creepy, and effective! And as you mentioned the physics on the zombies are so fun as well. I love seeing them shamble around and over objects or how their body reacts to getting kicked into an object!
on the first supply run mission in the game i felt SO stressed that a volatile was gonna send me flying the second i stop thinking about parkour or going to the safezone.
I was one of the first people to buy dying light 2 on launch, so im gonna ego myself and say im part of that first million. didn't regret it, i knew techland would pull through and they did, people had lots of negativity on it and personally i just hoped they wouldn't get unmotivated, but now we're getting the beast dying light fans rise up.
man dying light 1 trully is one of my favorite games EVER i still remember the first time i was being chased by a volitile or when i stayed out a bit too late and had to run for my life back to the tower. The night of dying light 1 filled me with more dread then 10 cheap horror games combined it trully was a marvel of game that to this day still has not been topped even by dying light 2
It's so good! It's also one of my favorite games as well! I've never felt more terrified then when your watch starts beeping and you begin to hear the screams of the volatiles in the distance. The Following was super good too!
I've hearrd it said that Zombies are popular because they are a threat that everyone could imagine themselves beating them. If you compare them to Jason, Micheal Myres or the Xenomorph Zombies kinda suck unless there in big hords, especially if they are the slow kind. Zomvie stories therefore often play with the idea that an average person, if they are clever enough, would reach a high level of freedom. This plays into the fantasy of being a badass by making the enemy threatning but not overwealming. I think everone at some point made a plan what they would do in a Zomby outbreak, as did I. Dying Light expands that idea with the Parcour element, a cool ability often seen in action movies, making the player character even more badass and by doing that making the power fantasy more appealing.
@@sterbsen sure but most people wouldn't be able to pull them off. Like we like to thjink we would make it in these scenarios but it's more likely to die first.
Some very good points and insights! This game really does give you a strong power fantasy that lets you have tons of fun exploring and interacting with the world. To tie into your points, I think they also went about it really well where you start the game as a fairly ordinary guy (other than being a government agent and being instantly good at parkour lol), and you learn more and more parkour moves throughout the game while upgrading your skills making it feel like a pretty realistic progression. In the beginning, you can't really fight too many zombies or else they'd overpower you, but by the end, you've got powerful weapons and lots of awesome abilities that make killing regular zombies pretty easy.
*Concord may very well be the biggest flop in gaming history. Love the cope we see in Sony fanboys trying to say the game was "just ahead of its time". Nope! The game is racist trash. DEAL WITH IT*
*Shame they dropped the ball with Dying Light 2. Hot garbage. I bought the so-called "Deluxe" edition & still have buyers remorse to this day. Same with RE3make.*
@@mimimemes I apologize, I should have been more clear from the beginning. Yes, I agree with you. The game is great, wish it was stable to play with my brothers though.

I will never forget the Volitile chase.
I accidentally skipped it. Didn’t get spotted until later but still shat myself
That first night chase was when I really knew I was in for something different and amazing!
Dying light is one of the most fun coop experiences iv'e ever had, i think after the initial push word of mouth also helped it become huge.
Too bad it's not a good zombie game.

Techland really know how to make awesome coop games! Dying Light and Dead Island are so fun to play with friends.
Dying Light
Resident Evil
Devil May Cry
Doom

do not forget cyberpunk 2077

Same! Those chases are so intense! And I really love the mechanic where you can quickly look behind you as time briefly slows down.

sadly there are too many cheaters

Dying Light 1 is definitely the best zombie single player game i have ever played. 7 Days to Die is the best zombie Survival-Crafting game ever.
You're fucking stupid and tasteless, Gen X opinion.
Excellent games!
I mean 2:29 actually is quite a good theme song for that.
Volatiles are in love with the runner.
Or is it only me?
To this day I don't understand how the goons outran Brecken to the rooftop.
And don't forget the music theme. Is just so god damn iconic...
Dead Island got me amazed, but DL1 got me in love.
