this is not a complaint. promise. But i was so focused and loving the burn, then you said "your majesty", and my body found the excuse to laugh and fall apart. had to finish it up 5 minutes later after i recovered.

Oh yes definitely felt the burn! Especially in that side glute muscle you mentioned. My balance is pretty bad, hope that will improve as i practise more. Loving the videos Ash, the length is perfect. Right, I'm off to find an upper body one now. 😊

Really hope this helps that issue I asked you about! Think it could stem from weak glutes/core/hamstrings! So I’m going to do your workouts and stretches every day from now on!
Great idea. Always tap the glutes (bum) to check the muscles are firing properly and getting good activation 👍🏻
Thanks Ash. Your exercises individually may not be unique but the combinations and instruction are unique. Yes, ye old (74) body is reacting well. I would suggest the older runner may want to do fewer reps initially.

This is a fantastic focus on my weak areas. 🙃 Thanks so much for posting this. I know it will also help immensely. when the x-country skiing starts back up ... but not wishing away summer. (it just got here.). Love the balance requirements and how you say smile if you have a burn. I did this after a short gentle run and your post run 5 min stretch.

Sometime could you please do a yoga routine between 20-30 mins for runners before bed? Or do you already have one, and I haven’t found it, yet. 😂.

I ask for you because I am trying to assist my 14 year old teen (he likes sprint and long jump). I’m not a former athlete (I only played football and as everyone knows, football players can’t run 😊, in any case I can’t 😂).

Loved it as always! Noticed you are wearing barefoot shoes, what's your experience running in them? As I have been thinking about getting some for myself.
Thanks Oliver! I love the feel and wide toe box of barefoot, it’s really helped my body. It takes 6-8 months to properly adjust and let your body strengthen to the changes. 😊

Thanks again for your comment Christophe! Keep at it and your glutes will get stronger, tap them as you do the exercise to make sure you are getting glute activation rather than the quads doing the work 👍

Felt it more in my thighs than glutes. Am I doing something wrong? 😢
Possibly got sleepy glutes which is very common, especially for us runners. Try tapping your bum when doing the exercises and get your bum muscles to squeeze against the tap if that makes sense. That way you definitely know the glutes are doing the work. The muscle should feel hard not squishy.
