I have purchased and used GUF. It definitely improves the appearance. After application when you run your handle over it does not feel oily or slick. However, when you actually have your heel on the mat it is somewhat slippery! My occupants did not like the slipperiness and thought it was somewhat dangerous when getting in and out of the car. I apply very lightly so that was not the issue. The only way to remove the slickness was to thoroughly wipe it down multiple times with all purpose cleaner. I no longer use it on floor mats.
Same, I tried it on the mats of my personal vehicle before using it on my clients cars and it was definitely very slippery! A passenger of mine hurt herself trying to get out of the car. The difference is is I applied more than what’s shown in this video and used a brush to apply. I will continue to do testing with it and use an applicator to apply it, with less product, and wipe down with a microfiber afterwards.
GUF is slippery when on floor mats that aren’t entirely rubber. For example weather tech is high quality rubber. A lot of the generic no name brands or Amazon brands use a mix of plastic with the rubber and it ends up not absorbing fully into the mat, making it slippery even though you’ve knocked it down with a cloth.
Thanks Pan!! You are my go to guy for anything car detail related and you have never steered me wrong!!! BTW, I ceramic coated my own car following your videos and it’s was great!!!
Yeah I always had WeatherTech mats in my cars and my girlfriend's cars, and my brother's cars, and my parent's cars haha. But I only leave them for winter months. My girlfriend keeps hers year round.
I love GUF so much. In my opinion it’s as impressive as MP is on the engine bay. I’m very particular about mats/flooring and this is the only product I’ve found that does exactly what I want. I’ve tested it off-label on the exterior (step bars on trucks) but dust does stick to it, sadly. I mist directly on the mat and level with a detail factory curveball, super easy and works great. The odor is fairly mild, smells a bit like PSS. Don’t replace your old mats before you try GUF, it’s really that good 👍
Do oh think hug can be used for tire shine because from what I see Pss is used for plastic trim and can be used for tires and do you think PSs is good for the mats

The best combo !, I tried Gummyfix on my mats and they look like new, now mine where not really bad, but I cant wait to tackle my wife's vehicle mats hers are really beat up .
Now I know why people have been raving about gummifix. Greenstar is one of the best APC’s on the market and to be honest I have never been disappointed in a Koch Chemie product. I will have to try this new product out sometime soon! Thank you for the new product video!
The koch chemie Guf may be the best product for 2023 so far or in the top 5 I have not yet tried but I've been seeing it on Jamie the cleaner and Eddie Colon on TH-cam. And now Pan the organizer with awesome results
Thanks for the review on GUF Pan! I came across this product a few months ago when it was announced and then it went out of stock. Now I’m gonna grab a bottle. As always, top tier content from you! Thanks Pan!
Another fine precision video good sir! Pan, with your experience, how long do protectants last on the door panels and dash before they begin to break down? And is Fusso coat 99 still one of your preferred sealants? Thanks man!
Thanks for the kind words about my videos. Always nice to hear. I don't measure the durability of interior products. I have to draw the line at some point, I would die trying to measure the durability of everything known to man haha. I focus more on paint protection durability. For the interior, most products typically will give you a few weeks to a few months protection at best. Hence why it's recommended to maintain your vehicle's interior once a month or at least once every other month. If you apply a base layer of long lasting protection (like CarPro PERL dilute 1:5, or 303 Protectant, or DIY Detail Interior Ceramic) those should last a few months. All that will be left once every 3-4 weeks is to use an interior quick detailer to lightly clean smudges, light dirt and dust, and to boost the existing protection. That's when you'd use CarPro InnerQD, Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Mist Interior Detailer, DIY Interior Clean & Protect, Lithium Inner Space, Adam's Interior Detailer, etc).
I am soooooo tired right now.... just washed my car in the driveway. Spent 3 hours washing just the outside and wheels. In 97-degree weather.(yes, I know I'm not supposed to wash under the sun, but it cannot be helped) 😂 Rinsed the whole car with water, sprayed on a super thick layer of foam, riseed foam off. Second coat of foam and started washing. Since it was sunny, I washed one side at a time. For some reason, when I was done, it was already 3 hours later. I need to watch fewer Pan's videos. At this rate, it will take me 6 hours to wash my car next time. 😍 When the sun goes down and the temps go below 85, I will probably start with the waxing/polishing. This is better than going to the gym. I can burn off a lot more calories by washing my car.
Good review pan! I use this on the pedals as well really good for that too, seen as though there isn’t no silicone in the product to cause feet slipping
Hey Pan, I’ve noticed the last couple times I applied this to my Weather Tec mats they had a slightly slippery feel for a few days. The GUF was also beading on mat and not flashing/drying? Any idea why/what I did wrong? I’ve applied it at least a dozen times over past 18 months and never had an issue. Ty.
After cleaning, need to use a non-oil and non-silicone base black rubber solvent to prevent foot slippage. Something like Chemical Guys Mat ReNew Rubber. Your Floor mats will always become marred with dirt and other things you take from the ground. Wear protective booties over your shoes, boots, or sneakers, remove them as you get into your vehicle. No more contaminates on your mats brought in from the outside of your vehicle. Winter time lay down a large used old bath towel. Change your footwear and place snow boots and the towel in a kitchen dish wash basin "dish tub". Keep your car mats clean for a very long time. Okay! purchase a second set of floor mats for your vehicle and store them until you have the desire to present your show-and-tell showroom vehicle with brand-new car floor mats. Once the show is over, remove and store the new mats in a sealed container to keep them new, and put your daily useful mats back on the car floor. Maintaining and Cleaning your vehicle is nice, but you will never be able to keep it in Factory condition coming off of the production assembly line. Deterioration, Corrosion, and Contaminants will occur by force of nature and the almighty above as nothing lasts forever. If you don't use it, you'll lose it! Going overboard is a waste of time and money. Just keep the floor mats clean as they don't have to look pretty. Question? Do you look down at your feet all day? If so, people will probably wonder if you have a problem. The purpose of a floor mat is to protect the carpet.

I found that using some diluted super clean does an excellent job on floor mats!! Have had a hard time finding the right protectant, if everything I’ve tried Chemical Guys VRP works the best but will definitely try this out
Hey Pan, how do clean bugs stuck in the radiator akd the ac condensor? Im back from a trip (montreal to jasper and back) And the condensor is filled with bugs, i had some armoral bug remover.... but it does not work... what should i do?
@pantheorganiser nice video like alsways. Pan i got to ask u somethin. Last time u showed the scratch remover from turtlewax (the one with the clear coat). Can u put first the clear coat and over it a ceramic coating? Or would the solvent mess with the turtlewax clear coat? Also if u use both (ofcorse with sometime in between) would the paint look better since it would be like a lense? (The bottle may can coat a car). Also can u how should i say that mask streaks or love marks with the clear coat? I couldnt find any videos about it and also didnt had anyone with experience to ask to.
And one more question. In ur videos u say "to maintain the ceramic coating" u mostly use some spray coatings over it like flexwax. Can u use something else aswell like Fuso (pastwax) or polymer base products ( like polymernetshield)or would that destroy the ceramic?
For maintenance of ceramic coatings, you have to use compatible ceramic based products. So no, you would not apply a Fusso wax, or any carnauba wax or regular sealant. See my detailed tutorial on how to do a proper maintenance wash on a ceramic coated car here: th-cam.com/video/IqIW78FmRYU/w-d-xo.html
@@PanTheOrganizer ok got it thank u. What about the scratch remover part? Can i apply Ceramic coatings over it? And would it look better since in theory it would be a thicker layer?
Hi Mr. Pan! Thank you for your energy and efforts to teach with experience, share knowledge and demonstrate with objectivity all the products that you encounter in your professional life. May I please ask you; what products you recommend for professional quality motorcycle detailing tools / kits? Thank you in advance for your kind feedback, assistance and consideration to recommend! Humble regards, Walter Sylwesiuk
Both are very good. The McKee's is also a cleaner, so it's more versatile. Guf is only a finisher. But I have a slight preference for the way Guf looks.
Don't use tire dressings on rubber mats. VERY dangerous! You can see another video I made with alternative products here: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.html
Amazing video, just ordered some Guf and will try it out. I've been struggling trying to find something in my arsenal to use on these all weather mats without being slippery.
PERL can be slippery on rubber mats, so I would caution against that. But if it works for you, good. How did you discover my channel by the way Manuel? Welcome to my channel. Great video Pan ! I checked the product description and it does not say this product could be used on vinyl. So, do you have a recommendation on what can be used on vinyl / "faux" leather seats for 2009 C350 Mercedes?
I don't at this moment. You can start by cleaning them with an APC and magic eraser first (test on an inconspicuous area first!). If your window strips are in plastic, you can use a trim restorer like this: amzn.to/3Q0SF3S If they're in rubber, you can use this: amzn.to/43w02mT If they're in good condition and you just want to lightly restore them and especially protect them, this is what I like: amzn.to/3XZ62Uf

Great video as always Pan thank you. Can this be used on vinyl as well? like dashboards? my non-leather 911 dashboard looks all chalky (drives me crazy) what do you recommend for that?
Thanks Daniel! Did you see my full Koch Chemie brand review video? Here: th-cam.com/video/7GLzRzRgKi0/w-d-xo.html And the video I did when I participated at an event with their experts? Here: th-cam.com/video/BO0eAARXfAg/w-d-xo.html
Greenstar is a concentrate so you have no choice to dilute it according to your use (instructions on the label). Brake Buster can be used as is straight from the spray bottle it comes it for max power, or diluted up to 1:3 in a foaming pump sprayer. It still works well when diluted, perhaps not as strong as undiluted for obvious reasons, but you get more for your money.
@@PanTheOrganizer what i meant to ask was is there any difference if diluted in a dilute bottle without the foam or diluted in a foam sprayer with the foam?
Hu Pan, thanks for yet another great video. Quick question, which two Mcguair or Turtle wax Hybrid Solutions products would you use for cleaning and protecting all types of floor mats. Thanks. Costa
Thanks for the great vid, Pan. Good info as always. You cost me money every time I watch!! :) Quick question. I want to buy a mini blower/dryer and comparing the Metrovac to the Adams Mini. The Adams has a 20 ft cord, more amps/watts, and feet per minute. Is there a quality issue you are aware of that should lead me back to the Metro? Thanks!
I haven't tested the Adam's. But as they don't make their own equipment, they outsource the work. So there's a high likelihood of brands like MetroVac making their blowers anyways hehe. Who knows.
I wouldn't recommend regular plastics/rubber dressings on rubber mats. You'd have to test on an inconspicuous area first to see if it makes the surface slippery.
Pan can you use this on tire for tire mat shine ? Just like pss can be used for plastic trim it can also be used for tire shine from what I heard… let me know if you can get back to me brother thank you
Hi Pan… I have an unrelated question, I park my car under a tree a found sap on the hood of my 2021 XC-40 Volvo, I used Koch chemie green star to remove at 5-1, with a kitchen sponge which seem to put what I believe to be light scratches on the surface, I started off with rupes fine finishing compound with a yellow wool pad, didn’t come out , then went to a rupes blue wool pad with sonax perfect finish 6-4, still didn’t come out, I used my fingernail to make sure the scratches aren’t thru the clear coat which THEIR NOT. What would be my next step to try and remove these scratches? I have flat black paint , my pressure on the machine was light on the 1 st try, on 2 nd try I used about 10 lbs of pressure, don’t want to burned thru the paint. Thank you for any advice, know it’s difficult not see the vehicle, I’ve never had problems before removing scratches but never had sap either. Ken
Using an APC isn't the appropriate way to remove tree sap. You need to first wash the car, dry it, and then use a proper tree sap remover, like this: bit.ly/3pvgmXj You would spray that on the clean surface, let it dwell, and then wipe with a microfiber towel. Multiple applications might be needed depending on how thick the sap is, or how stubborn it is to remove. Do not work in direct sunlight, don't let the product dry on the surface, and work on a cool surface. Once the sap is removed, then you can use a compound and polish to perfect the paint to remove the scratches you induced on your previous attempt to remove the tree sap. I will have a full tree sap removal tutorial coming later this month. Stay tuned.
How old are they? Sometimes there's a point of no return when they have been through wear & tear for many years. Also, what do you first clean them with? Did you try something like McKee's Rubber Mat Rejuvenator? See my video: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.html
@@PanTheOrganizer It’s amazing. You always reply to me! I’ve used KC Greenstar (5:1) and Griots wheel, tire and mat cleaner. And the mats are relatively new. I’ve been using a microfiber towel for dressing. I’m going to try an applicator block like you did. Maybe that’s the difference.
Always a pleasure to help my viewers. I'm the only big detailing channel that replies to viewers on a daily basis on TH-cam. I take great pride in that. I won't lie it gets overwhelming at times, as I can spend up to 4 hours every day just replying to TH-cam comments. As you can imagine with almost 1 million subscribers, I receive thousands of messages and emails across all platforms, so it's not a simple task. Sometimes, APCs can give a chalky white appearance on surfaces if not rinsed properly or neutralized. Koch Chemie Green Star is a very good APC so that shouldn't be the issue. Perhaps try a different product all together. McKee's 37 Rubber mat rejuvenator, which cleans and protects in one product. See my tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.html
Guf needs a spay applicator. It comes with a pour spout and it is not functional for what you need to apply this. Good product and you only need a very little bit to make it work and cover well.

I can never say that, as you never know what new and better product will be released haha. But so far, Guf and McKee's Floor Mat Rejuvenator are my favourites.
This is a good product, but refence other brands that are comparable would be nice, to decide if what we have is good for now or is this worth a new buy!
If you need a product that both cleans and rejuvenates, the McKee's is the one. If you can use an APC to clean first, and want the best looking rejuvenator for the finishing touches, Guf is the one. Both are excellent, so you can't go wrong.
Is that drain super useful….or what!😊 So much easier when you can just tip the excess water away. Where does the water go from the drain? Into the normal drain system in the house?

Please make one video for people like me, who don’t have coated car. How to wash, what’s better a shampoo or rinse less wash, what to use for maximum gloss without coat. Thank you!
I already have my car wash tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/w-d-xo.html That shows you how to wash a car, regardless of what protection you have on your paint: wax, sealant, ceramic coating, or no protection at all. It doesn't matter. Same procedures apply. If you don't have access to water (those who live in cities with water bans or heavy restrictions, or apartment/condo dwellers with no real access to a hose, etc) you can follow my rinseless wash method here: th-cam.com/video/p58Y5qRd3OU/w-d-xo.html Same rinseless wash method applies regardless of what protection you have on the paint.
@PanTheOrganizer Thank you for your answer! One more question. You say that Gyeon Wet Coat gives us the most gloss. After I apply it and rinse for activation, can I dry the car with a CarPro Beader + CarPro DreamMaker? (I saw this mix in your video too :) ). Or is there a better way?
After using WetCoat, you can just blow dry the car. 100% contactless way of my drying. Then you can pick up any residual water droplets with a microfiber towel and quick detailer, or Bead Maker + Dream Maker combo, what ever you want, but it's not needed. I wouldn't stack too many different products one over the other.
Both are very good. McKee's is a bit more versatile as it cleans and rejuvenates. Guf is only a finisher/rejuvenator. But I have a slight preference for the way Guf looks.
I have seen in another video where you cleaned rubber floor mats using McKee’s 37 Rejuvenator and 303 Protectant or Lithium Inner Space. Would it be problematic or overkill to use those along with Guf? I don’t think Guf has any UV protection in the formulation, so it seems that spraying 303 or Inner Space after applying Guf would be the ultimate combination of finish and protection. Your thoughts?
Hello guys. There are some guys saying that it could be slippery, the issue is not the product from Koch chemie, actually the issue is the generic matt that could be generic. The othe options available to use could be chemical guys "matt renew", adam's "rubber mat and liner cleaner"
Both are excellent, but different. The McKee's both cleans and rejuvenates. The Koch Chemie is just a rejuvenator, you need to clean the surface with an APC before you use Gummifix.
I used this product and agree it worked to achieve a good look, but the product is greasy and causes dangerous foot slippage. So I washed it off and re-applied it in a lesser amount. Same results. Finally, I used my buffer (not in the instructions) and it became acceptable. I wouldn't recommend this product as it has a slippery finish. This expensive bottle of chemicals is going to the hazardous waste facility when it opens this Friday. The products Pan has recommended fill my detail cabinet and I have been very happy with his recommendations - until now. (I can't understand all these satisfied users.) Yeah, the mats look great, BUT.....
I never had such issues. And I have been using this for a while now. And as you can also tell from the comments, the majority of the people who tried it feel the same way. How are you applying it? What type of rubber mats do you have? I have WeatherTech mats. If you want something that cleans and rejuvenates, one product, and zero slip, here's my other tutorial: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5oXBxSgqAK8LrJ1m
First time I used a sprayer. Second time I used a microfiber applicator to better control the amount of product. It was slippery both ways. The buffer worked, but probably removed most of the product (even though was not part of the instructions). It did LOOK good though. The mats are BMW factory. I did not dilute the product as the instructions did not call for it. The degree of slipperiness is noticeable. When my wife and I got in the car this morning the first thing she said was: "This is dangerous." I have since washed the mats thoroughly and the problem is gone, but there is no way I would recommend this product. And that's from a guy who highly recommends most of the products you prefer. Indeed, I use three other Koch Chemie products: Gsf, Gs and Mp. Not related: I have tended to favor the CarPro products you like. By the way, I enjoy your channel immensely.@@PanTheOrganizer
It's not a long lasting product (none are in this category). It depends on your use and how dirty they get, but a few weeks on average. It's a delicate balance between long term durability, and keeping the non-slippery aspect. You can't have it all in this category of products it seems.

I had the same case. It was slippery.
What brand of floor mats do you have? I haven't had issues with Guf yet, all on WeatherTech mats.
@@PanTheOrganizer I live in Ukraine and have good quality ukrainian brand Avto-Gumm rubber (PU) mats.
Pan,
Thanks for the video on this. I just did this yesterday to my front mats. Works like a champ!
Glad it helped!
I imagine those WeatherTech mats come in handy for your Canadian winters. I do like their custom fit mats like you showed.
@@jamesvincent6185 I would not recommend PSS on floor mats. GUF has anti-slip properties that PSS does not
I bought and used both of these products and used one coat and my weather tech mats came out great they look new. thanks for the great product review.

The koch chemie Guf may be the best product for 2023 so far or in the top 5
I have not yet tried but I've been seeing it on Jamie the cleaner and Eddie Colon on TH-cam. And now Pan the organizer with awesome results
Your videos on fundamentals are always great! Legend
Thanks!!
Thanks for the review on GUF Pan! I came across this product a few months ago when it was announced and then it went out of stock. Now I’m gonna grab a bottle. As always, top tier content from you! Thanks Pan!
Glad it was helpful!
Looks great!

Good stuff! You’re the best, Pan
Thanks Taylor!
Looks great. Thank you for reviewing this product. I really value your opinion.
Glad it was helpful! And thanks for the trust you place in my opinion Donna.
Seeing it in the car really makes the difference
I agree. It makes it quite obvious.
Great video, l’ve done the same procedure with the same products for the last year, and cannot recommend it enough
Totally agree!
Awesome video and product review good friend
Thank you! Cheers!
Good review pan! I use this on the pedals as well really good for that too, seen as though there isn’t no silicone in the product to cause feet slipping
Thanks!
I was looking for someone to mention pedals. Thanks for the info.
Looks great. Definitely going to try this product. KC has great products.
Thanks for watching!
Ty.
as i remeber detilers yusing GUF for pedals too. its help to prevent slippery pedals
😳
Thanks man! Very helpful

I found that using some diluted super clean does an excellent job on floor mats!! Have had a hard time finding the right protectant, if everything I’ve tried Chemical Guys VRP works the best but will definitely try this out
You can also try the 303 Protectant. I demonstrated that in this video: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.html
Would u use that method on ure rubber foot petals?
I just clean the pedals with an APC or rinseless wash.
Is there a spray head I can purchase through amazon that will work for this bottle as Im in the US.
Hey Pan, how do clean bugs stuck in the radiator akd the ac condensor? Im back from a trip (montreal to jasper and back)
And the condensor is filled with bugs, i had some armoral bug remover.... but it does not work... what should i do?
How do they feel afterwards? I hate how my Weathertechs feel with anything other than a good scrubbing
They feel like OEM new. Nothing changes. Just a nicer/richer appearance.
Pan is the man the myth thr legend
😎💪🏻👍🏻
You should write to them and ask them directly, I don't have enough experience with that clear coat scratch remover yet.

Thanks for the vid! How do you think this product compares to the weather tech brand spray protector?
I prefer Guf
Thanks for the video. How does this compare with McKee’s37 floor mat cleaner?
Both are very good. The McKee's is also a cleaner, so it's more versatile. Guf is only a finisher. But I have a slight preference for the way Guf looks.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks!
Anyone have any alternatives that are cheaper? I use adams tire dressing but it leaves the Matt’s slippery
Don't use tire dressings on rubber mats. VERY dangerous!

Amazing video, just ordered some Guf and will try it out. I've been struggling trying to find something in my arsenal to use on these all weather mats without being slippery.
As an alternative, see my other floor mat cleaning video: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the vid Pan, can you use this on beige colored mats?
On any color rubber mats yes.
Carpro PEARL, works 100 times better. But thanks for the video.
PERL can be slippery on rubber mats, so I would caution against that. But if it works for you, good.

Great video Pan ! I checked the product description and it does not say this product could be used on vinyl. So, do you have a recommendation on what can be used on vinyl / "faux" leather seats for 2009 C350 Mercedes?

@@PanTheOrganizer thanks !!
Great video, Pan. On another subject, do you have a video or guidance on restoring faded black side window strips? Ty
I don't at this moment. You can start by cleaning them with an APC and magic eraser first (test on an inconspicuous area first!). If your window strips are in plastic, you can use a trim restorer like this: amzn.to/3Q0SF3S
If they're in rubber, you can use this: amzn.to/43w02mT
If they're in good condition and you just want to lightly restore them and especially protect them, this is what I like: amzn.to/3XZ62Uf

That looks like a solid product 2 try.stupid question will it work with brown and or tan mats as well?
Yes any color rubber mats. It will make the color look richer.
Great video as always Pan thank you. Can this be used on vinyl as well? like dashboards? my non-leather 911 dashboard looks all chalky (drives me crazy) what do you recommend for that?
This is for rubber mats and platic floor mats.
Can I use Guf for the tires as well?
I don't think this is recommended for use on tires.

for the greenstar or p&s brake buster, any difference if using dilute bottle or foam sprayer?
Greenstar is a concentrate so you have no choice to dilute it according to your use (instructions on the label). Brake Buster can be used as is straight from the spray bottle it comes it for max power, or diluted up to 1:3 in a foaming pump sprayer. It still works well when diluted, perhaps not as strong as undiluted for obvious reasons, but you get more for your money.
@@PanTheOrganizer what i meant to ask was is there any difference if diluted in a dilute bottle without the foam or diluted in a foam sprayer with the foam?
Question Pan, can you use this on the pedals to restore them as well.
I haven’t tried that. To clean pedals I normally use an APC or rinseless wash.
Pan would you use this on the pedals? Brake/gas/clutch?
I just use an APC or rinseless wash to clean the pedals.
Hu Pan, thanks for yet another great video. Quick question, which two Mcguair or Turtle wax Hybrid Solutions products would you use for cleaning and protecting all types of floor mats. Thanks. Costa
I don't think they make anything specific for rubber mats.
Thanks, Pan! WeatherTech floor liners are the worst to clean!
In what sense? I have had WeatherTech mats in all my cars and never had issues...
the gummifix i have i mind to try it out.
when i clean my rubbermats i use p&s break buster and that works great 🙂
That's a good way to use Brake Buster. And after, you can use P&S Swift on the rubber mats, for the same effect like Guf.
Who knows.
Those Koch Chemie products seem to be very good ones, it's a shame that brand is not widely available here in Mexico.
What are the most popular brands available near you?
@@PanTheOrganizer I think Meguiar's, Turtle Wax and 3M are the leaders
Does CarPro pearl would work in this case?
I wouldn't recommend regular plastics/rubber dressings on rubber mats. You'd have to test on an inconspicuous area first to see if it makes the surface slippery.
Pan can you use this on tire for tire mat shine ? Just like pss can be used for plastic trim it can also be used for tire shine from what I heard… let me know if you can get back to me brother thank you
They said this is for plastics.
You need to first wash the car, dry it, and then use a proper tree sap remover, like this: bit.ly/3pvgmXj
You would spray that on the clean surface, let it dwell, and then wipe with a microfiber towel.
Stay tuned.
Will this work on those stitched type mats? I think they’re a type of leather and rubber material. They’re square stitched patterned.
Sweet this is awesome 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Pan, another great video. I needed this. My WT mats always end up chalky. I finish with 303 or Pearl but they don’t look nearly as good as yours.
Does GUF cause any off-gassing oily film on the inside surface of the windshield?
Any stuff in the interior can cause that over time. Materials off gassing will cause more of that than Guf.
Could you use Perl for the floor mats?
I wouldn't recommend that.
Another great video Pan! I just wish I could scrub as fast as you do in that video at ultrasonic speeds!🙂

Great video. Well done as always. Thank you 🙏. Is this your go to from now on?
I can never say that, as you never know what new and better product will be released haha. But so far, Guf and McKee's Floor Mat Rejuvenator are my favourites.
This is a good product, but refence other brands that are comparable would be nice, to decide if what we have is good for now or is this worth a new buy!
This will likely make my upcoming best of the year awards. So for rubber mats it's one of my favourites.
So mckees 37 or gummifix? Carpro pearl makes them slippery
If you need a product that both cleans and rejuvenates, the McKee's is the one. If you can use an APC to clean first, and want the best looking rejuvenator for the finishing touches, Guf is the one.
Both are excellent, so you can't go wrong.
Please do a side by side with 303, thanks
Is that drain super useful….or what!😊 So much easier when you can just tip the excess water away. Where does the water go from the drain? Into the normal drain system in the house?
Yes I have two drains in the garage and they go to the sewers.
The after has a definite richer look in the color.
Absolutely.
Could I use Carpro Perl instead of Guf on my floor mats? Please and thanks ☺️
I wouldn’t recommend that.
Great video. I use both of products and they are great! by the way how did you put the spray nozzle into the bottle? I want to use it like that
I ordered one of their sprayers and simply inserted it like any other of their bottles.
@@PanTheOrganizer My Guf bottle mouth is bit different from other bottles of Koch-chemie there is a rubber thing on it
You can usually pop that off.
@@PanTheOrganizer Oh I didn’t know that lol thank you 👍👍
Which one do u like better the Mckees floor liner rejuvenate method from ur previous video or this Koch Chemie method?
Wither or, it doesn’t really matter they look similar in the end. But the McKee’s both cleans and rejuvenates. The Guf is only a rejuvenator.
Any idea how long it lasts?
I want to use it for gas and brake pedals, can I? Because I've been looking for a long time for something that doesn't slip
I wouldn't use anything on pedals. Just an APC to clean, and that's it.
And about a steering wheel or gear lever? Am I not defending this too?

Please make one video for people like me, who don’t have coated car. How to wash, what’s better a shampoo or rinse less wash, what to use for maximum gloss without coat. Thank you!
I already have my car wash tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/w-d-xo.html
That shows you how to wash a car, regardless of what protection you have on your paint: wax, sealant, ceramic coating, or no protection at all. It doesn't matter. Same procedures apply.
If you don't have access to water (those who live in cities with water bans or heavy restrictions, or apartment/condo dwellers with no real access to a hose, etc) you can follow my rinseless wash method here: th-cam.com/video/p58Y5qRd3OU/w-d-xo.html
Same rinseless wash method applies regardless of what protection you have on the paint.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you very much! 👍
Do you prefer this over McKees floor mat rejuvenator?
Both are very good. McKee's is a bit more versatile as it cleans and rejuvenates. Guf is only a finisher/rejuvenator. But I have a slight preference for the way Guf looks.
Is Gummyfix good for cleaning trim? Outside car trim, which usually made from hard plastic.
It’s not a cleaner.
Ok, but can I use it to the car trim, to get the same effects as you demonstrated in this video?
This is meant for rubber floor mats, and plastic floor coverings. Not for car trim!
That would be too many products. I wouldn’t worry about UV protection for floor mats as they sit on the bottom and the sun rarely goes that far.
Hello guys. There are some guys saying that it could be slippery, the issue is not the product from Koch chemie, actually the issue is the generic matt that could be generic. The othe options available to use could be chemical guys "matt renew", adam's "rubber mat and liner cleaner"
I don’t have slippery issues with this on my WeatherTech matts.
@@PanTheOrganizer I agree. I have weather tech and it is not slippery and in another car I have a generic matt and it is slippery.

Both are excellent, but different. The McKee's both cleans and rejuvenates. The Koch Chemie is just a rejuvenator, you need to clean the surface with an APC before you use Gummifix.
@@PanTheOrganizer okay thank you
Wouldnt the flag tip brush be best to apply it so it can get in the creases easier?
There are many ways to apply it. I like the foam block as it spreads large areas quickly.
Is it bad to use drill brushes on rubber mats? Will it damage or fade the color? Also, is there a cheaper option than Guf? Thanks for the video!
Many people use drill brushes for the rubber mats, as it's quicker, but make sure to select a soft one. Like this: amzn.to/3DBfSlR
How long does this product keep that new look to the mats?
It's not a long lasting product (none are in this category). It depends on your use and how dirty they get, but a few weeks on average. It's a delicate balance between long term durability, and keeping the non-slippery aspect. You can't have it all in this category of products it seems.
Do you have an alternative product ? Does carpro makes something similar ?
CARPRO PERL!
@@igor-km8ds thanks !
There are many alternatives. One of my favourites being in this video: th-cam.com/video/ea11kHw-YNA/w-d-xo.html
