Sounds great, I drive for Univar hauling liquid chemicals. No weekend work and I pull about 136,000 last year. I love it.
@@jonhamilton2962 Right on that's awesome! If something like that was available near where I lived I probably would have landed up doing that instead of working for Walmart. That's okay It's been a good 17 years here I don't regret it one bit.
What type of customers do yall deliver to only Walmart distribution Centers?
Or does the Customer Vary?
We are a private fleet which means we only haul freight for Walmart stores. Our customers are the stores. We haul right to the stores and we haul bulk loads of freight from vendors to the DCs occasionally as backhauls. The only other loads we haul would be pallets from the stores back to the DC or to a chep palette facilitie.
I submitted an application for the DC in North Platte NE, but I didn’t see a spot to punch in your referral code.
Also, do you have any information on the flatbed side of things for Walmart like pay etc? Flatbed is all I know how to do and I know Walmart has seasonal flatbed gigs.

@@Battlefield4life48 I think it's the part that says do you know anybody that works at Walmart but that's okay You can still tell the recruiter to put it in there for you I think. One of my referrals said the same thing And he was able to have them put it in after the fact manually. I really do appreciate it thanks for thinking of me 👍
@timecreator8580 It's actually the other way around that's why we have hired like 6,000 people in the last 2 years. They want to get rid of all the outside carriers in our grocery DCs. They're doing a pretty good job at it too so far.
As far as the flatbed gig goes I really don't know much about it other than they have some flatbed trailers down in Sacramento. I don't think there's a whole lot of that going on other than like you said seasonal.
They're probably looking to replace the outside carrier with actual Walmart drivers so it would be good to get in on the ground floor with that.
