    That was so awesome. A compilation of doubles and triples. I have no doubt that Lake Hume will return to this type of fishing over the next couple of years.

      Thanks mate. They were all from the last 18 months, and all from the Tallangatta area. It has been fishing brilliantly for years now.

    I think I need to try that same setup you blokes use next time I head down to Lake Hume.

      It's very effective, Greg, and maximises your time in the strike zone. Cheers.

      No mate, we've never been a part of it. We should give it a go some time.

    You often say that's a "good" one for filleting/eating, what size do you call that? 25cm? 30cm?

    • @FishtalkVideo
      @FishtalkVideo  ปีที่แล้ว

      24-27 cm are filleted for cat food and 28+ for me.

    What is the best time of year to chase Redfin in lake hume?

    • @FishtalkVideo
      @FishtalkVideo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If chasing numbers, the summer months are best, but if you are looking for bigger fish I would recommend Autumn and early Winter.

      I filmed the video, "Chasing Autumn Redfin" about 3 weeks ago (19th May) th-cam.com/video/UGtPlmTIIGg/w-d-xo.html so they are still active.
