3 years late but, the WINE version works really well. I have only encountered one glitch while dragging and dropping connections or dragging children to parent elements but it's just a visual glitch - the functionality works.
Via .png, yes. Remember you need to set your Comp 's alpha too. See hint at the bottom here - docs.cavalry.scenegroup.co/-LU1VVdL61zw4e2kW3m1/user-interface/menus/windows/render-sequence-window
I have wanted this in AE for so long. Love it. Keep going!
I guess the only way to achieve this in AE is to use the multiples of Set Matte effects.
@@JunaidUrRehman Yeah, if you're using shape layers, or you're using the same size layers, or you've precomped everything...etc. 🙃
You could also use compound matte: aescripts.com/compound-matte/
Cavalry is going to improve the quality of my life significantly. Thank's for your amazing work
Thanks for saying that! Much appreciated - good to have you on board.
Wishing the best for you guys. This is great.
Very nice! Looking forward to experimenting with this.
After Effects left the chat room. 😂
I'm really looking forward to Linux. Thank you for your work.

I can imagine how many precomps would be in AE

Hi. Very instructive.
Is there a way to export the clipping to lottie ?
There's a note on that in the docs here - docs.cavalry.scenegroup.co/user-interface/menus/window-menu/render-manager/lottie-export#tips
@@cavalryapp I have tried that but it didnt work for me :/
This is so simple
Does Cavalry feature motion tracking? Thats what it needs to replace AE!
Or a possibility to import track data from like Blender?
No, there's no camera...yet!
My garbage beta test is famous!
