Tyler's been planning trench and dema since birth
I love how Ty and Josh have made such a complex concept, but sometimes I truly wonder if they just do random stuff and the clique is just like "IT'S A CLUE!" and freaks out and Ty and Josh just kinda go with it 😂
I don't think Tyler's hair has anything to do with the universe of DEMA. Tyler said in some interview that cutting his hair short is a attempt for him to get rid of the vanity this world instils in us all and so by cutting his hair short he's trying to not care about his looks too much and remind himself that there are more important things he should focus on
i personally dont think that tyler had the trench story in mind while creating the older albums. i think he did during the blurryface era, but i dont think he was thinking about it in the albums before. maybe tyler just looked back on the old albums and created a story around them. i could be wrong tho.
I wonder if tøp sees all the theories and just looks at them like “ haha yeah okay”
I think that it’s less of Tyler/Josh planning out the Dema and Trench storyline since No Phun Intended, but more of them looking back, on all that they had made before, all of the music and lyrics, and building a world from that, which we now know as Dema.
There is also nine colors coming from the mind on the self titled album
I hate that the TOP fandom refers to the break they took between Blurryface and Trench as a “hiatus”. A hiatus is when a band totally stops being a band for usually 3+ years, not a 1 year break to produce a new album.
this is so unlikely, idk why people believe it. btw the buildings on the self titled album cover look nothing like the buildings in dema. you're looking too far into this and trying to connect things that don't have anything to do with each other. i'm sorry i just expected better from you. i still like your videos though, keep going

If these theories are true, it's quite impressive how Tyler had everything in mind since a long time. Something that it's clear is that the Dema storyline seems really complex and has a lot of "roots".
“Trench” is seeming more and more to be the “Infinity War” Of TØPs albums! 😄😄
It's crazy to think that the story of dema has been possibly planned for a very very very long time

I feel like it's less about Tyler setting up the whole "Dema/Bishops" storyline for so long, but it's more so that Tyler has maybe always personally perceived his thoughts, insecurities, and fears as physical things in his mind. Shortly after Blurryface was released, Tyler described needing to have someone he could stare in the face--a figure across the table--in order to work through what was in his mind. Thus, Blurryface manifested.
