I still remember the first time I heard Jumpsuit.
I woke up and checked my phone and saw the notifications for the new songs. Immediately I listened to both (I started with Jumpsuit) and could not stop shaking the entire time. It was such an incredible experience!

Sorry I’m a little late on the video! But I was thinking about what you said, about the actual use of the word Dema, and how the towers were used for birds to peck at dead bodies.. maybe it symbolizes how Dema is really a deadly place for Tyler and others who go there. And the “vultures who feed on pain” are all those little things that slowly hurt people like words and stress. People that are in Dema are pecked at by these “birds” and they’re the people who feel closest to death because of all these things that hurt them. Dema is the place where Bishops try to pull people in and make them to the point where they might not make it out. So, “in time I will leave the city, for now I will stay alive” is saying that Tyler still hasn’t escaped all this badness in his life, but though he is in Dema, he’ll keep living no matter what. He won’t die because of all those things trying to get to him. Again, this is just a thought! Thanks to anyone who read all of that! Stay alive frens ||-//
Revisiting these events brings back the adrenaline rush that prevented me from sleeping this summer. I'm getting flashbacks of constantly checking Discord and refreshing Twitter... Oh god, my thumbs are compulsively swiping down on an imaginary phone screen again.
i just relived the hiatus through this video, which for the most part was hell, but those last few months i remember were so exciting and we were all just happy with some content and man, i dont miss those days but now i can look back on the torture with somewhat fond memories of first discovering this world they created and none of us having any idea what the hell we were in store for

The dollhouse described in the song 'dollhouse' could be a metaphor for Dema.
March to the Sea, Addict With a Pen, and Taxi Cab seemingly having a connection to the ocean or water.
Isle of Flightless Birds could be another metaphor for Dema.
Forest could be connected to Ride. everybody knows the chorus to Ride "we'll sing a chorus. One that everybody knows" and Ride is technically connected to cars.
Slowtown could be connected to Leave the City "Things are moving too fast now" and "I needed change of pace"
This gives me so many vibes of staying up late, reading theories about the tower of silence and how vultures can’t see yellow. Having discussions on discord about if blurryface is dead or not. Seeing dates in LITERALLY anything. It was a wild and sleepless ride, but I took my time and we got there. (I’m so sorry for that terrible pun) but it made me love the band so much more and I’m so grateful that they are back!
oh man this brought back all the feelings and the excitement from this summer. I don't think I'll ever forget where I was and what I was doing when they released the jumpsuit music video :D

I was there through it all, but do you know when you have a story that you just love so much that you read it over and over again, this video was just like that... I enjoyed watching it, as it recaps a whole year for me... A year of new friendships from the skeleton clique, loyalty to the band, excitement when we heard about the website, creativity, theories, waiting, and waiting, and waiting... And it ended with appreciation for a beautiful project that I couldn't have imagined how important it will be for me personally even if I tried to...
So, I can't wait to see the 3rd part.

It's interesting to me that we have explanation and interpretation of all the dema and the letters and everything. But when Tyler and Josh are asked directly about Nicolas or Dema they don't really answer. In an interview Tyler just says, "What do you mean? " for everything he's asked about Nicolas. Which makes me think about what are they coming up with? Of course there's going to be a closure to all of this. I'm just excited for the future.

*Hey professor,* I was thinking today, and I think Heavydirtysoul relates to The Tell Tale Heart.
I was listening to the song today and it just occurred to me that Mr. Misty Eyed might be like the old man from TTTH. In The Tell Tale Heart, the narrator kept describing the eye to be like a vulture eye. Maybe to Tyler the narrator was a gangster, as in a ruthless person unafraid of dying and only cares about reward. The old man would be someone who is expecting death to come soon but is unaware of how it will happen. In this sense, maybe Tyler is saying he's both.
But about the eye thing... yeah, maybe since you probably know more about this kind of stuff you can better dive into it, but I hope you see what I mean.😊☺

One of thw stuff i felt would matter is the play "All my Sons" which is about man who knowingly killed 21 Pilots in WWII and caused him to suicide.
I felt like this mattered because firstly 21 pilots, 21 banditos. The man who dies in All My Sons due to his decision which he knew would cause something to happen to 21 people could be Nico, who dies in The Outside after starting a relationship with Trash the Dragon, which caused 21 banditos to stay out of dema.
