      Just add 8 inches to the chassis.....make it a little longer so you can really enjoy it....what's the point of making something only one person can comfortably ride.....that sucks!!!!!

    I still say you'd be better off with adding 1 foot to the frame,behind the sprockets,for leg room.You'll be able to tip the steering down a hair so it doesn't bind as well.You already need a piece of plastic between front and back anyway,so why not?

    • @pressureline5320

      Even 6" would make it more comfortable for John, would probably need that 1' for Isaac.

    • @SportbikerNZ

      Disagree. Violates their whole objective from the outset to build one of the smallest 4x4's around. Common sense says at least give it a good run before making such a change.

    TINY LIGHTWEIGHT 4X4!!! Lots of people here seem to have forgotten what this started out as and the intended goal. This is the smallest power wheels car that power wheels makes. The goal of this project was to keep it as small, compact, and lightweight as possible while providing a single adult with 4 wheel drive. Stretching the frame would make fitting easier, but totally defeats the goal. These guys have done an excellent job. I'm impressed.

  • @josedeleon9402
    @josedeleon9402 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The way John sat on it at the end made with his legs outside of the interior made me wonder what if you did fold out foot pegs on the sides?
    Then you can rock that body while riding similar to the 3 wheelers. Also, in Michigan rolling on tractor paint works great and isn't messy like spray. We use it on off road and derby cars because its very cheap and durable.

  • @SportbikerNZ
    @SportbikerNZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    awesome build! one suggestion that would really stand out: make a bonnet scoop on the hood. This would cover the engine up. For the windshield, you could use a piece of aluminum and then you won't have the problem of melting plastics 👍

    At the high angle u-joint on the steering, it looks like you could use (2) 45 degree bevel gears instead of the u-joint. It would be a lot smoother.

    I'm glad you guys are finally going to use some Chain Lube on one of your projects, at least. That chain Wax is the best choice.
    But, you've GOT to also start using a pre-filter over those foam air-filters. Never use a paper element filter in the dirt and especially wet muddy conditions. Use a good filter oil on your foam filters and put the pre-filter over that. And, CLEAN them after every good thrashing, too. I have an Outerwears pre-filter I can give you but, I'm sure Go Powersports has their version they'd be glad to supply for you. Get a bunch of them and put a clean one on every time you ride. PLEASE!

    • @tycoonbob
      @tycoonbob 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Bolts from the bottom is the only way to do it on these gx200/clone engines. Don't have clearance to drop a bolt down from the top side.

    You can make a floating chain tensioner.
    Take two pieces of flat bar of the appropriate length,drill a hole through one end of each and a slot on the other so you can adjust it.
    Put a couple of rollers on it and bam.
    It'll just ride on the chain,no need to anchor it at all.

    So I was thinking if that steering still doesn't work out. You could build brackets to raise the engine a bit. And run a better angle directly under the engine. Could even fabricate a fake blower or something to make it look like a hot rod power wheel for if it has ro come out the hood of the power wheel body lol
    Love this channel so much and this is one of my favorite builds of yall so far. Don't normally comment but I love that yall also have yalls own ground to tear up now. These mini builds are so fascinating to me lol

    Hey have you guys ever tried painting rims with vaseline on the tires? You can just pressure wash the paint off. No need to tape off the tires.

    Any chance you can give it a body lift to get the clearance for the hood/windshield. Just for testing purposes...

    Looking at john sitting there with his feet outside the body thinking maybe some foot wells mounted outside the body would free up some leg room

    Solid black frame would look that much better! I don't get the bronze. I do however love that its 4wd and the new sprocket should make it a hill getter.

    You could still use the Bronco hood/window frame...just trim it up away from the heat and it'll be fine. Make a heat shield and use header wrap around the exhaust to protect the plastic from warping. Problem solved.

    you should try making a removable skid plate under the sprocket.
