UPDATED: Hello my friends. This is a very difficult episode and conversation. And I've seen enough comments below regarding my interview approach (too much interrupting and talking) to re-watch and leave a note of follow up here. Thank you all for the feedback! It is very helpful. I know people say "don't read the comments"... but I do and I do so with an open mind and heart, or at least I try to. In general, I try to be honest and conversational in this podcast, but I must admit that I was especially worried in this case of the three of us piling on with an issue that's super divisive and involves innocent children and lots of tragedy. We are not personally objective here. All three of us believe that these procedures are exploitative and abusive of innocent children at a naturally confusing time in their lives. But I can also say that my heart BREAKS for the families trapped in this situation, even if it's out of a mix of confusion and neglect. So I was inclined to table-set more than I usually do and, from time to time, interrupt to make sure medical terms being used would get explained right in the moment. It was more than usual. I'll put myself on a tighter leash next time. The fact that Dr. Haim caught the biggest children's hospital on earth lying to the public about their practices is shocking. That this is in my adopted new home state is equally so. I tried to avoid excessive editorializing here, though not perfectly I must admit. But as a parent, this is all very difficult to process. Let's process it together... and keep these families and especially the kids in our hearts and prayers. They are suffering and being exploited.
We KNOW that as a result of this story and the Boston story these programs will go underground AND they will monitor employees very closely to intimidate them and prevent future whistleblowing.
Thanks Dad! I can barely contain my rage as well, being in "trans refuge state" of Minnesota, having no idea why medicalizing healthy bodies is now "progressive". It is a strange faith-based feedback loop between doctors and patients, apparently mutual self-delusion, but doctors get rich while kids are going to pay the price. AND society pays the price in the destruction of sex-based language, and sex-based rights, which primarily harms women, in women's sports, changing rooms, and prisons. Seeing these transgressions advanced as "progress" makes me realize there is nothing left of the "progressive left", and they NEED Trump to distract attention from their insane civilization-ending beliefs as liberation.
Incredible. I'd like to say I am surprised, but given the climate we've been living in for the past few years, I find it altogether too horrifyingly possible.
When I was going through puberty as a female I hated my developing breast and was embarrassed for them to be growing. I was a Tom boy and wanted to be a boy, but I never once thought about wanting a penis, or even thought about how boys look different than girls or grew up to be men. I grew out of this by age 15 became comfortable liking my female body, Today am a heterosexual, mother, wife and was always attracted to the male sex. If I had been born today I would have been indoctrinated because I wasn’t conforming to a female gender stereotypes I was not girl, and would have been pushed to identify as a boy, non -binary or a made up gender. Western cultures are indoctrinating kids if they don’t’ conform to stereotypes then that’s a green light to change their bodies and remove healthy body parts. This is INSANITY.
I was a Tom boy when I was a kid. I had 6 brothers. When I turned 14. I accepted being a girl and became very feminine. Sometimes I had wished I were a boy because my brothers got away with not being responsible. They didn’t have to do dishes, clean or help with household chores. I got married at 19. Have been married 53 years. 3 children, 10 grandchildren
They got to the little girl across the street. Beautiful little girl with two brothers. Obviously Tom boy but clearly a beautiful girl. She declared being gay at 12 started wearing big boy clothes, gained weight, and cut her beautiful curly golden locks off into a very unflattering boys hair cut. It breaks my heart every time I see her. Not to mention she clearly has learning disability and speech problems. She is in no way able to process this by herself and how her parents haven't put their foot down is even more concerning. So sad
Schools are aggressively enforcing “transitions” behind parents backs . Even kids who got caught up in the contagion and move past it are encouraged to stay the course by teachers and counselors when they try to use their birth names and correct pronouns again.
This is a way to a limit population if you do surgery on kids after they are brainwashed by school and friends they tell these kids it's ok to be a animal or girls being a boy or vise versa so they go have a operation now when they get older they want kids and can't have them so they have depopulate the human race . Same with doing away with a certain color because they don't want that race anymore . Kid's go through so much as puberty hits they even drink, smoke do drugs because they fill pressure into it .

I already do. I did before but I saw it with a family member of my husbands. She became depressed at about 15, suicidal. She stayed in antidepressants for years. Gained unbelievable weight. She began her transition after her 30’s , but announced to her mother she was a lesbian at 16. Come to find out she was raped at 13 by a family member and nothing was ever done bc his dad died when he was little and everyone felt sorry for him. That’s bull, she had to face him every gathering. He never matured and neither did she. She paid for her own transition. Has been mentally unstable since her 30’s. She is also mentally immature. I was molested myself but validated and he went to prison. I assume he died there. But even though I was validated I still had feelings of dirtiness, worthless , fear of others finding out. But I made it through with full support from my parents. It made a difference. I could have been one of the LGBT’s victims. Thank God I wasn’t:

Thank you for speaking about this issue. As A gay person, I can state for a fact that every gay kid at some time in growing up wishes they were the opposite gender so they would be like everyone else. Taking these children and destroying their health with drugs and procedures that should be 100% illegal is wrong. Talk about harming gay kids, trying to turn them into fake straight kids is worse than anything yet devised.

I made an off-hand comment about "alphabet soup" which wasn't the most sensitive phrase, but this is what I meant: there are some serious issues that divide the various experiences all being lumped together in "LGBTQIA2S+" and that amalgam is purely a political construction.
Don't be concerned for using the term "alphabet soup!" They make up all sorts of disingenuous terms. Just call it cross-sex ideation or taking on an opposite sex persona, and the discussion becomes more grounded. Absolutely...I was a huge tomboy growing up...a larger girl than other girls my age. My brother got a lot of attention just because he was one that would carry on the family name so girls in our family were not as important basically. I at one time wanted to be a boy just because I wanted to be just as important...this brings on several reasons why today's kids would be taken into one of these and begin to be part of an experiment...today I'm completely a girl, have had 3 children and I am thanking God I was born in 1970 . This is certainly going to make a lot of money for the psychology industry in the future.
It's not just gay kids. I wished so many times I was a boy. It seemed like they had more fun stuff and more freedoms. Thank goodness I had a mom that laughed at me and told me I could play with the boys when they let me but that's it. I've been married 47 years. Im a mom of 3 and a grandma. I think what's been overlooked and not talked about is sexual abuse of gays and trans kids.

Went to a few through Kaiser and they just made things way worse, if Kaiser psychiatrists were the only ones I’d experienced I’d think the same thing as your father. But we ended up paying out of pocket for a guy and he was amazing. Actually helped. And some people really do need that kind of help. While I think a lot of people dont really need it and meditations are often overprescribed, if you really need it and can get correctly prescribed it can literally change your life.

MOST girls don't like how their body is changing from 11-15...my breasts hurt, terrible cramps, I got huge hormonal bumps on my chin, I grew so tall, my feet got bigger, my balance was off, tripped all over the place. But....when it was all over....I was so pleased to become the woman I became. And, yes, there was a time I thought I would like to be boy....only because my brother had it so much easier....or so I thought! Thank you, for such a great interview! Agree. Me thinks children's hormones need to be checked automatically!, every time they go to a doctor, just to help prevent future problems. I'm thinking of my own childhood when I began menses, it lasted for 2months and I had to get B12 shots to reoup my blood.

I gave birth 4 times. 4 different Doctors, each office was very adamant about finding out my “FEELINGS”. I think the medical field is trying to find any “FEELINGS” they can to make a profit. Whether it’s depression, anxiety, sex changes, confusion, mood swings, anger, or just a bad day. They are trained to find something and profit from it!
At a local school district dance competition, a sponsor was introduced from the local 'mental health clinic'. He said 'we are here for you and your kids.' Bring in your girls who are depressed about their looks, face, body, or your boys who are depressed because they are confused. omg! All teens are self-conscious and confused! In fact (while I respect individual Christians, and everyone's right to believe what they choose) I reject "trans" ideology, and the idea of sex-independent "gender", for EXACTLY THE SAME REASON that I reject Christianity, Islam, Scientology, and every other religion. Because "gender" relies on the exact same, 100% perfectly identical standard of evidence as Christianity (and ALL religions). Like all religions, "gender" doesn't use ANY SHRED of objective, verifiable, physical, empirical evidence, to discern """the truth"""; Instead, it relies ONLY on "but it FEEELS true, to me" (backed up with maybe some unverifiable theorizing, if you're lucky), to decide what is/isn't """truth""" Or to put it another way, (sex-independent) "gender" is a belief system 100% "taken on faith". You can ONLY believe that a biological man is (in whatever mystical sense) "REALLY a woman", by taking the claim on faith (because 100% absence of evidence). In fact, the whole concept of a sex-independent "gender", is basically just a slightly-tweaked version of the Christian/Abrahamic "soul". ie, Your "gender/soul" is a completely undetectable, 100% evidence-free thing, which (believers claim) EVERY PERSON has, which despite the fact that nobody can prove it even EXISTS, believers insist that it defines/reveals "your TRUE self", your "REAL identity", in some spooky, mystical sense. In fact, your totally undetectable "soul/gender" somehow provides A FAR GREATER TRUTH than mere, trivial, insignificant, verifiable, objectively-real physical evidence. (of course, I understand there's also DIFFERENCES between the concept of "the soul", vs "your gender"; One magically survives death, the other doesn't. One magically re-writes your ""TRUE""" sex, the other doesn't... But it's all the above traits that they DO share, which make the concept irrational- Changing sex, surviving death- It doesn't matter WHAT magical properties you add to a thing, which can't be proven to exist in the first place...) But ANY doctor, Christian, Muslim, Scientologist, atheist, agnostic, Buddhist, whatever, should reject "gender" ideology... As long as they understand that (1) medicine needs to be based on EVIDENCE. And (2) that it's immoral to (surgically OR chemically) mutilate a patient (ESPECIALLY unconsenting children), when EVERY LAST SHRED of real-world, empirical evidence says they're in perfect physical health, they should understand that "gender" nonsense is objectively, provably NOT "medicine". Thank you for speaking on this. As an Operating Room RN in Canada and the US, i've seen the life changing / life saving benefits of surgery however NO procedure is without side effects and complications. In Canada i was shocked to see an 11 year old enter our OR undergoing gender transition. The procedure was not related ( retina surgery ) but it was a wake up call! I would never want to be in the OR for a procedure altering healthy body parts. I would literally walk out. I hope all these unethical disgusting medical " professionals " get sued.
Schools push clubs, of which parents have no knowledge of because during school hours. And surveys to alert schools what kid is open to ideas. Do not sign papers to allow school to survey your kids. And find out what club faculty is pushing. Best thing to do is home school.
Our precious grandson is 3 weeks old today. As a family, we have already made the decision to home school and support my son and his wife in any way to accomplish this. And don’t even get me started on vaccines - and I’m a Peds RN x 40 yrs. My trust in govt, conventional medicine, and Pharma is completely gone.

Thank you for interviewing both of these individuals. There is such an insane media blackout going on but I believe more and more people of all political persuasions are starting to learn the truth. I went to the Genspect Conference in Denver and when one of the speakers did an informal verbal poll of the attendees asking what side of the political aisle they most align with a bit more than 1/2 identified as liberal. I was basically a child transvestite but everyone wore jeans and workshirts in the seventies. I wore my brothers hand-me-downs and loved them! Cords, jeans, flannel shirts. No sisters. No I did not wear their under garments. We did a lot of camping, hiking and biking together. When I started working at age 12, I was able to buy my own clothes. I bought Junior Women's colthes but we still wore our staples: Levis shrink-to-fit 501 men's jeans and shirts from the Army Surplus Store. I bought a horse too. In these days they would have turned me into a sterile man! And my parents would have had no say? I thought my parents were dumb in those days! Now I appreciate them for being so wise and teaching us so much. We always worked! I have never wanted to be a man. My psychiatrist father would be hitting the roof if he were here today! Why are so many young women becoming men? 4000% increase in transgender women to men; 1000% increase in men to women.
There's lots of videos on the WHY. Social media, easy access to online corn, mostly shows women in one light: pornofied silly bimbos with big chest and bottom, tiny waist, big hair, lots of makeup, and very girly. Women are treated terribly in corn. Young men have these kinds of expectations of girls/young women. Who wants to be a woman when that's the only acceptable option, or you'll be seen as a dirty dyke or nerd or fatty or ugly wallflower. I'm in my mid thirties so luckily I didn't grow up in today's digital climate. I don't think anyone who is over 30 can really know what it's like to grow up the way young people these days have. When you're an insecure and awkward teenager and all you're seeing online is stereotypically attractive people with one option for your sex, with women being treated like things in corn, with very high beauty standards, with online bullying, less social stuff going on irl (in my country the number of dance clubs (disco) has reduced by something like 40% over the past ten years or so), and there always being someone with a camera around you (smart phone), ... I bet puberty sucks real bad these days. As a gnc woman, I'd too try to escape what is presented as the only/main option for me as a woman.
It took me towards the end of this video to draw the conclusion that those 4 boys who get to call this woman Mom, have to be some of the most blessed children in your country, perhaps anywhere. Im sure those boys, her husband, friends, and family - will be able to easily point to her flaws, but her heart and head are in exactly the right place, and that speaks VOLUMES to her character. Much respect!!!

In general, I try to be honest and conversational in this podcast, but I must admit that I was especially worried in this case of the three of us piling on with an issue that's super divisive and involves innocent children and lots of tragedy. We are not personally objective here. All three of us believe that these procedures are exploitative and abusive of innocent children at a naturally confusing time in their lives. But I can also say that my heart BREAKS for the families trapped in this situation, even if it's out of a mix of confusion and neglect.
So I was inclined to table-set more than I usually do and, from time to time, interrupt to make sure medical terms being used would get explained right in the moment. It was more than usual. I'll put myself on a tighter leash next time.
The fact that Dr. Haim caught the biggest children's hospital on earth lying to the public about their practices is shocking. That this is in my adopted new home state is equally so. I tried to avoid excessive editorializing here, though not perfectly I must admit. But as a parent, this is all very difficult to process. Incredible. I'd like to say I am surprised, but given the climate we've been living in for the past few years, I find it altogether too horrifyingly possible.
When I was going through puberty as a female I hated my developing breast and was embarrassed for them to be growing. I was a Tom boy and wanted to be a boy, but I never once thought about wanting a penis, or even thought about how boys look different than girls or grew up to be men. I grew out of this by age 15 became comfortable liking my female body, Today am a heterosexual, mother, wife and was always attracted to the male sex.
If I had been born today I would have been indoctrinated because I wasn’t conforming to a female gender stereotypes I was not girl, and would have been pushed to identify as a boy, non -binary or a made up gender. Western cultures are indoctrinating kids if they don’t’ conform to stereotypes then that’s a green light to change their bodies and remove healthy body parts. This is INSANITY.
I was a Tom boy when I was a kid. I had 6 brothers. When I turned 14. I accepted being a girl and became very feminine. Sometimes I had wished I were a boy because my brothers got away with not being responsible. They didn’t have to do dishes, clean or help with household chores. I got married at 19. I already do. I did before but I saw it with a family member of my husbands. She became depressed at about 15, suicidal. She stayed in antidepressants for years. Gained unbelievable weight. She began her transition after her 30’s , but announced to her mother she was a lesbian at 16. Come to find out she was raped at 13 by a family member and nothing was ever done bc his dad died when he was little and everyone felt sorry for him. That’s bull, she had to face him every gathering. He never matured and neither did she. She paid for her own transition. Has been mentally unstable since her 30’s. She is also mentally immature. I was molested myself but validated and he went to prison. I assume he died there. But even though I was validated I still had feelings of dirtiness, worthless , fear of others finding out. But I made it through with full support from my parents. It made a difference. I could have been one of the LGBT’s victims. Thank God I wasn’t:

Absolutely...I was a huge tomboy growing up...a larger girl than other girls my age. My brother got a lot of attention just because he was one that would carry on the family name so girls in our family were not as important basically. I at one time wanted to be a boy just because I wanted to be just as important...this brings on several reasons why today's kids would be taken into one of these and begin to be part of an experiment...today I'm completely a girl, have had 3 children and I am thanking God I was born in 1970 . But we ended up paying out of pocket for a guy and he was amazing. Actually helped. And some people really do need that kind of help. While I think a lot of people dont really need it and meditations are often overprescribed, if you really need it and can get correctly prescribed it can literally change your life.

I gave birth 4 times. 4 different Doctors, each office was very adamant about finding out my “FEELINGS”. I think the medical field is trying to find any “FEELINGS” they can to make a profit. As an Operating Room RN in Canada and the US, i've seen the life changing / life saving benefits of surgery however NO procedure is without side effects and complications. In Canada i was shocked to see an 11 year old enter our OR undergoing gender transition. The procedure was not related ( retina surgery ) but it was a wake up call! I would never want to be in the OR for a procedure altering healthy body parts. I would literally walk out. I hope all these unethical disgusting medical " professionals " get sued.
Schools push clubs, of which parents have no knowledge of because during school hours. And surveys to alert schools what kid is open to ideas. Do not sign papers to allow school to survey your kids. And find out what club faculty is pushing.
Best thing to do is home school.
Our precious grandson is 3 weeks old today. As a family, we have already made the decision to home school and support my son and his wife in any way to accomplish this. Blame the insurance companies. They set the fees. Doctors don’t make as much as people think. Their liability insurance and networks they are forced into eat up a lot of their income. And, doctors have to pay for 8-10 years of education.

I was basically a child transvestite but everyone wore jeans and workshirts in the seventies. I wore my brothers hand-me-downs and loved them! Cords, jeans, flannel shirts. No sisters. No I did not wear their under garments. We did a lot of camping, hiking and biking together. When I started working at age 12, I was able to buy my own clothes. I bought Junior Women's colthes but we still wore our staples: Levis shrink-to-fit 501 men's jeans and shirts from the Army Surplus Store. I bought a horse too. In these days they would have turned me into a sterile man! And my parents would have had no say? I thought my parents were dumb in those days! Now I appreciate them for being so wise and teaching us so much. We always worked! I have never wanted to be a man. My psychiatrist father would be hitting the roof if he were here today! Why are so many young women becoming men? 4000% increase in transgender women to men; 1000% increase in men to women.

I'm in my mid thirties so luckily I didn't grow up in today's digital climate. I don't think anyone who is over 30 can really know what it's like to grow up the way young people these days have. When you're an insecure and awkward teenager and all you're seeing online is stereotypically attractive people with one option for your sex, with women being treated like things in corn, with very high beauty standards, with online bullying, less social stuff going on irl (in my country the number of dance clubs (disco) has reduced by something like 40% over the past ten years or so), and there always being someone with a camera around you (smart phone), ... I bet puberty sucks real bad these days. As a gnc woman, I'd too try to escape what is presented as the only/main option for me as a woman.

There is no higher authority. Provided you love you children and will do anything required to protect and raise them.
