heal priest set is not an A. that's a B- borderline C+. its going to force healing priests to run circle of healing and hardcast only prayer of healing to get aegis procs and instant flash heals. hard casting anything else will be an act of futility and penance is going to be considered griefing outside of dedicated tank healing. its also going to eat away at the priests mana pool insanely hard, so be prepared to bring tons of mana pots just to function. druids are also going to basically have to reserve any and all innervates solely for the priest. not a fan tbh... the 2 set bonus is also a massive joke... 0.1?? lmao bro might as well have put nothing there.
The Ret set is easily S tier. It allows you to run the 2 speed 2h weapons so you don’t have to choose between twisting and spamming exorcism. Absolutely broken.

You should've done this with the changes to the classes and new runes. Ret Paladin will get +15% str, agi, and ap. Enh Sham got HUGE nerfs to +healing and Mental Dex rune.
Haven't played my ret since phase 1, but now for P4 I'm excited for ret! Removing Martyr from a rune and making it ability is 100% the move i wanted. Now you can use Divine storm as well! SoC was garbo
@@x7zauman910 Enhance was only surviving in PvP because of the self healing. Now that we have 33% less health and armor than Warriors, we are basically a garbage version of Warrior.
@@rumbleshakes I dueled warriors on the PTR test, and they are really, really bad. With my prot paladin in Phase 3, I had fun fights against enhancement shamans that could go either way. When I played a rogue on the PTR and dueled arms warriors, they literally died in two stuns. I'm not sure if the rogue's damage is high or if the warrior is squishy, but we're talking about plate armor, for goodness' sake.
As a Ret Paladin 12:40 I am really looking forward to this and curious more than anything on how it will play out. I am also happy that Holy is getting more love and Prot feels solid overall. Ofc more things can be done and I wish we had a gap closer for PVP scenario, overall more testing to be conducted. LOCK IT IN AMIGO 🔒🔒🔒

The 6 piece feral bonus is a nice quality of life but I dont see myself ever using it over going 4pc t0/4pc t1. Ferocious bite still sucks ass and will never be pressed so those combo points can simply be used on SR, 40 energy regen on a 6% proc is too good to pass on.
Been a main holy priest true the Sod and last classic. Guess it's time to find something else to play. That Priest sett Bonus will do nothing in most cases. If you go disc priest you will most likely be spamming Shield all fight and gain 0 from sett. You go Holy and you gain some crit to COH. Flash heal and greater heal is in most cases not even used. We go oom if we use it. We are 100% going to be needing resto druid to innervate us all boss fights now.
its a season of discovery, that has already been confirmed to be something tdifferent than classic. They should just make pally's and shaman available to each faction
I see the ranged hunter rotation being: Aimed shot > trap > 2x Chimera > frenzy and multi-shot rinse and repeat. Unless they buff the ever live hell out of aimed shot and nerfing chimera into the ground I dont see aimed overtaking chimera.
That feral Bear set is trash. 20% threat bump? Bro I’m 65% ahead of everyone already in threat. Lacerate is God Tier threat at the moment, literally all of those set bonuses are total trash, Bear will probably just use off pieces with better stats
It‘s always the same with feral tanks… they dont really get any good gear or other stuffs… tanking is not bad but would wish some love from blizzard like shamans or warriors
While I hate stance dancing (even though you can macro everything and do it passively), I feel like this set fits with the new runes. With Sudden Death, Executes dumping all your rage, and it seems to proc around once every 10 seconds (more for glad stance as devastate counts as two hits), so the play seems to double swap before the fight starts to get 10% damage and 10% crit, then gain rage until Sudden Death procs, dump rage with your execute, then swap back and forth really quick. This would keep the buffs up around 100% of the time (since the % damage runes we had to keep up got removed) with minimal loss of rage.
I like the way ranged hunter is looking in terms of rotation. They really doubled down on increasing the skill ceiling but it will still be solid for players who can’t maximize the rotation. That being said I don’t understand the Giantstalker set bonuses. They just don’t seem to be of any real use especially with chimera still being so strong. The tracking thing is just another thing to keep in mind on top of an already complex rotation. All and all I’m still super hyped for P4 with my ranged hunter and with my rogue.
Warrior dps set seems awesome for pvp. With focused mind it means you start every fight with 25 rage (40 with charge) and can now use sweeping strikes in berserker stance (at least for the next 6 sec after swapping stance) which means you dont have to loose your rage when in zerk stance
A lot of people are forgetting the amount of aoe fights that exist in mc. Half the fights are cleave fights... and this iteration of starfall is from wrath, not cata. Wrath starfall is broken asf
stance swapping for overpowers was already a thing on single target if you wanted to be a good parser in classic era so this is prob just gonna add a higher damage bonus for doing that it will be interesting for sure im not gonna say good or bad yet lol
I think what wasn't menition is that Melee hunter 6pc also lets you Mongoose on Misses. Assuming a DW hunter gets special hit capped they still have like 19% auto attack miss chance? This means you can use Mongoose a lot of the time. Furthermore, the new chest rune adds 40% of attack power to it as damage, and if I've seen how bloodthirst scales with attack power it could be pretty solid. It then feeds into melee specialist gfiving you more Raptor resets which in turn gives you more of everything. The 6pc bonus *Might* make DW melee hunter decent.
Wishing the Spriest changes were implemented as a base with the MF 6 piece bonus, prior to getting that set bonus and after we replace we are back to square one. Also i see comments about the OP of us in PvP of course, no brainer BUT the rune move of VP to boots is going hinder us immensely, no defensives and VP hardcasting plus it ticking for 150 doesn’t equate to the nerf of losing a major part of the toolkit
The rune move feels pretty bad for both pve and pvp. The tier set will only feel good if they increase the range of mind flay. 24yd range compared to 36 on everything else. Great 6pc bonus but they have to increase the range or, regardless of damage, it’s going to feel awful to play.
The seal twisting thing only made sense if they kept our mana regen from SoM, the way it is now paladins will literally oom within 10 seconds of a boss fight if seal twisting and going full rotation, unless they just want you to twist SoW with SoM so ur constantly getting mana back, idk. Mana costs need to be fixed over all, 1kmana for the new heal is expensive as fuck so it wont be used over flash of liight spam lmao.
that might set for warriors is so annoying, the 4 set where you can use abilities after you change, means you now how to remap all your keys so all abilities are either on global bars or on the new stance bars, i'll just go prot/gladiater till wrath, just seem way too annoying, and yeah also my shaman ofc, might try ele this time round.
F for all the Shadow Priest changes... sure the 6-set bonus is nice, but without it, everything for SP is just ass. Another phase where you're the worst DPS. Even lower DPS than all tanks.
Man I really liked playing melee hunter.. But the changes to raptor strike and the fact it's pretty much a dead class now destroys the motivation I had for phase 4.
Welcome to classic wow lol. That was one of the things I thought was cool about classic. Sometimes items would last you throughout multiple phases depending on the buff and the classes use of it. It’s nice to not throw away all your gear every time a new phase drops.
Different way to look at I guess. I hated having to wear the Bloodvine set for way too long and that there more than half of the BiS gear in phase 1 of vanilla for Warlocks was from dungeons. Or even green "of shadow wrath" gear. IMO should maximum one or two pieces be bis across several phases. Losing the crit of the bleeds won't be an option even in Naxx I guess.

80% reduced healing per jump on healing wave is almost nothing, really disappointed. We needed some healing rain/stream buffs. Something uncapped cause we're bottom feeders in HPS rn. With paladins getting 60 min buffs I was hoping we'd get raid wide totems so that healing stream can benefit everyone. Or give us conductivity to replicate a portion of healing done while healing rain is up. This all feels very disappointing

Stats on the hunter tier set are awful, no attack power and extra spirit? Looks like they were barely even touched since vanilla, just +1% hit which is underwhelming. And those tier set bonuses for both specs are awful, makes you not even wanna play the class
Imo you are a bit biased against shamans and start complaining before reading the bonuses properly. A) Shamans already get the 4-piece bonus in a sense by power surge. B) The chance to proc is 35% WHEN you land a LB crit, which automatically makes this a very low proc (and not 100% of the time as you imply) C) you downplay the fact that by spamming CL you are OOM in 10-15 sec, coupled with the fact that Shamanistic Rage now returns half the mana it used to. I think mana management around this rune is what's going to make this change distinguish the elite from average players as the average guy will hurt their dps more by spamming CL. Initially I see this working as an "execute" phase where you basically dump all your remaining mana when the fight is almost over D) No mention of the flat 120 SP loss from Burn nerf.

Every phase you've been EXTREMELY WRONG, it wouldn't surprise if you're wrong again thsi time.... for example the S tier will be the worst DPS and the D tier will be the best dps, if things go as you're previous ranking.

Totally agree, we may as well reroll to resto druid as they are getting even better mana regen and aoe healing.

Warlocks can max out at 100% dodge chance as well with demonic grace and their boots rune. I'm sitting on 85% right now without world buffs
I don't like stance dancing which is why I went Gladiator Stance but I'm wondering how that set bonus benefits us.

I don't think it's being old, the stance dancing play style is just dumb and cluncky. granted i haven't played since P3. but this stance dancing bullshit isn't it.

Warriors got hosed, less damage immediately now u get to micro manage more for the same and wow i like that GLAD gets the damage buff so now u HAVE to run glad rune....yaaaaaayyy *sigh*
Why is melee hunter dead btw?
They do 1/3rd of the damage they did at level 50, don’t provide any raid buff and their rotation is now a clunky mess. It’s just not a thing anymore

Warrior is dead with the changes they made to runes so ye this set means nothing... and getting a 6set will take ages as well. Well GGs to all Warrior players in SOD its been a nice ride in P1 and P3.
Stats on the hunter tier set are awful, no attack power and extra spirit? Looks like they were barely even touched since vanilla, just +1% hit which is underwhelming. And those tier set bonuses for both specs are awful, makes you not even wanna play the class
He said like 5 times that stats are not updated/accurate, just the setbonuses are.

Imo you are a bit biased against shamans and start complaining before reading the bonuses properly. A) Shamans already get the 4-piece bonus in a sense by power surge. B) The chance to proc is 35% WHEN you land a LB crit, which automatically makes this a very low proc (and not 100% of the time as you imply) C) you downplay the fact that by spamming CL you are OOM in 10-15 sec, coupled with the fact that Shamanistic Rage now returns half the mana it used to. I think mana management around this rune is what's going to make this change distinguish the elite from average players as the average guy will hurt their dps more by spamming CL. Initially I see this working as an "execute" phase where you basically dump all your remaining mana when the fight is almost over D) No mention of the flat 120 SP loss from Burn nerf.

Every phase you've been EXTREMELY WRONG, it wouldn't surprise if you're wrong again thsi time.... for example the S tier will be the worst DPS and the D tier will be the best dps, if things go as you're previous ranking.
