Hi Larry. The second John Byrne run was the one included in the Byrne and Casey Omni. The first run is still not available in Omni. It might eventually get one with Al Milgrom, but it would be a small one.
I assume you are completely right about Joe Sinnott and his run on the fantastic four. And man was he a good inker; he could elevate some so so pencils extremely well and when he was on with great pencils like Buscema or Kirby it was just amazing stuff.. I love the period where he inked Buscema on the mighty Thor. Outshines the other inkers who worked on that run. Glad Taschen responded through Instagram. I guess that’s a lesson for us all. But it is concerning that that’s the way to get results.
Yep! Brown & Tan was the way to go but I was really glad to see how they at least tried to give us a comic accurate costume at all. Maybe they should put Ryan in charge of Marvel in general. Kevin seems to have lost track of what made the films great.
Alright Larry. I haven't watched your video yet for your opinion on Deadpool and Wolverine but I recently bought it on 4k and watched it for the first time last night. Gotta be honest I was massively unimpressed...I honestly thought it would be amazing... I love the first 2 movies but this 3rd one is easily my least favourite. It wasn't terrible and I enjoyed parts but I expected much more... Nothing bores me more than multiple universes and time jumping convoluted storylines with forgettable British villains ( I'm English ) and a film trying to do too much...include too much... Didn't hate it though so there's that. He even jokes about the overuse of parallel universes within Marvel in the film...just give me a good villain and a tight simple story. Have you read your Catwoman of Eastend Omni yet or have you forgotten about it as it's hiding underneath your massive collection!? 😉😂😂 Get it read brother it's incredible and I'm no Catwoman fan. Incredible art throughout by Cooke coupled with Brubakers Stella writing. Daz
The Catwoman books is still a ways off in my "FIFO"..maybe I should let it cut? I have always been into the parallel worlds stuff and also the "time-wimey" plots! I love it!
Glad Taschen responded to you. Yes to MCU ranking please.
Thanks for watching William! I may have to do that list!
Glad to hear things are moving forward with Taschen!!!
Yes - thanks to YOU!
Larry you are the highlight of my week, these videos are great.
Thanks, that means a lot!
I hope the first Captain America movie is at the top of your MCU list!!!
Yellow Wolverine costume for me...
I liked it a LOT...I think I liked the 2nd one even more though
Oh hell yeah ...brown and Tan all the way...
Yessir!

Ahhhh....then I may still get that! (with Al Milgrom I mean)
Great vid, Larry! My lunchtime entertainment today! Brown and tan Wolvie for sure 👍
Thanks a lot! Glad to be of service!
I, for one, would like to see your list of Top Ten Marvel movies.
Thanks! Probably going to have to do that!
I, too, do not want to leave my domicile and go out to where the people are. 😖
There ya go! You get me.

I think I will try to verify how many issues Sinnot inked on FF...and John Byrne inked himself for a lot of his run also.
Great video, Larry.
Thanks Deathtone!
Larry, did you know that in the tombs of Tolkien and his wife, fans carved the names of Beren and Luthien? 🤔
I did not -that's wild!

Yes I was very happy with the comic accurate costumes for sure! And I would love for Ryan to get a little more control of the MCU!
Larry you need to read invincible you don’t know what you’re missing
Yes...I probably should check it out
