I wouldn’t say Spidey was nervous, but understanding. As this comic highlighted most of the Avengers are afraid of Logan, but not Peter. Part of that reason is because Logan has never won a fight he’s been in with Peter, the other reason is Peter is one of the few people who see Logan as more than just an animal or a weapon. Peter knows there is more to Logan than that and that he can be better if he wants.
Might it be because Logan knows that Spider-Man can knock him out with one punch almost as hard and bad as Hulk?
Spider-Man is crazy strong in his own right.
Not on Hulk's level, but the wall crawler does have crazy strength and power in his own right, mind you.
I'm not taking ANYTHING away from the Green Behemoth.

I feel this is a bit out of character for Spiderman, in another comic he confronts Daredevil and others to stop them with their plans to kill Fisk, but here Wolverines just " ok I'm off to go murder a guy, be back for tea " and Spidermans just fine with it, like " sure, sure, you do you "
The Spider-Man u r talking about was ultimate Spider-Man, a different variant, this version is 616
That was not the ultimate universe 1610 spidey, was 15 years old. This is the original 616 spider-man who is clearly an adult.
@swordchannelfires No it wasn't. What you are talking about is during Daredevil's 2019 run where Daredevil accidentally kills someone when he hit them too hard. Spiderman told Daredevil that he needs to give up being a hero or he would MAKE Daredevil hang it up.
Wasn’t it also because Daredevil was setting a dangerous precedent for the other NYC heroes legally making it harder for them to be heroes? Wolverine ain’t a local
@@rorschac009oo8In all fairness something pretty similar does happen in early Ultimate Spider-Man. Also I’m pretty sure in the Zdarsky run it was moreso that Daredevil was going to fuck things up for all the other heroes

Elektra really mogged spidey here, that’s crazy
Swinging out the window looks really cool, but it's terribly inefficient for anyone other than spider-man. That rope needs to be approximately 400 feet long, and sturdy enough to support Logan, who is pushing 300 lbs. That's a LOT of rope. High quality climbing rope. You know, the elevator in that mansion works, right? Be on the ground floor in minutes. If you are really pressed for time, they have jet packs and aircraft. Paragliding is a thing, too. And do none of their enemies have eyes? Or lookouts? "Oh, hey, Bob, we just saw Elektra - hot half naked chick - come out of (essentially) "The heroes' home base" and headed your way. Don't be there when she arrives.". Or, like, are they patiently waiting for her to show up every time? Does she call ahead? Are their crimes catered events? The cheese and crackers show up at 2pm, but eat fast, Elektra's here at 3? So many questions.
Logan's entire skeleton and claws, after all, have been coated with adamantium, which did up his weight to 300 pounds.
I mean Elektra is half naked, of course they'll be waiting around for her
It's comics so you always have to view it as the bad guys goons have a total combined 30 iq that's actively decreasing every time they get a beat down (In this case they are getting a kill down)
Pretty sure Logan's over 300 lbs, adamantium is a very heavy metal, like lead of gold. And if Logan were really in a hurry, he wouldn't need the rope, he could just jump out the window, it's not like hos bones are going break on impact with the ground.
WHY is Wolverine so effing tall in this? If he was really hunched over in front of Spider-Woman, his head would probably be just below her nipples. The picture of him in front of the refrigerator, in the beginning was actually an accurate depiction of his height.
It's just Spidey being hunched and half-crouching. Pete prefers being ready to jump on a ceiling in case Logan decides to go stabby....

@@brandonsnyder9950 Well, I don't mind a superhero being built like a superhero, but Wolverine is called "Wolverine" because he's a small vicious animal of a man with long claws, just like the animal.
It's kind of a part of his charm, just like being a Canadian man our outdoors.

Wolverine is pretty short. Artists and writers are given a lot of creative freedom.
Ie. Storm is supposed to be like 5 foot 10 or taller. Yet very few depictions of her with wolverine show this. Even when next to “slim” Summers.
There is one drawing from the issues leading to Onslaught where he threatens Juggernaut in a bar. Best drawn accurate relative depiction of his height. He is literally standing on the bar to put his claws at the head and throat of Juggernaut.
I honestly hope Spider-Man tagged along anyways, seems like something he would do, like an annoying little brother of Wolverine or something

Its refreshing to see street level heroes just do thier thing (i know some of them are stronger but still)
We desperately need an else world story where an alternate Spider-Man who takes no shit just beats the respect into some of these other heroes.
I swear homie will pull off some incredible shit like single handedly dismantling the x men or stopping the hulk mid rampage and as soon as he's done saving everyones ass they immediately forget who he is because *he lets them*

Lol he's done that a lot. Shit in issue #1 he fights with the fantastic 4 and pretty easily gets away
Closest would be Superior Spiderman and the Assassin Spiderman trained by Wolverine from the Web verse series. I hate they killed him off.

Funny thing is that Wolverine comes off as a jerk to Spider-Man, but Logan actually likes him as a friend. Its the reason Logan that on his birthday, Logan invited Spider-man to a bar.

Though I am sensitive to characters changing/ developing with time, I hate hate hate what the Avengers and Tom Holland depiction has done to Spidey... THIS aint Spidey. They've just nerfed him and made him a silly character not to be taken seriously.

And even so, Spiderman is literally one of the characters with more versions and depictions. In a few the outright refuses to do groups at all, and in other he is dying to do groups.. F. Ex. Lookup the "Spiderman meets captain America" issue. In that one he is even *more* of a child, and that one is old, I believe

@hypVideo Sigh. I wasn't saying that Tom Holland started it. I was saying, I hate the way they have nerfed spidey and I hate the way Tom Holland portrays him. Also it wasn't a decade, the Civil War movie went into production in 2015 and showed in 2016. 2-3 years. Either way, I was making 3 separate statements.
