All those are great but the Doctor Strange book with Barry Windsor -Smith and Frank Brunner is really something I can't pass up. I've wanted that art in over-sized format forever. I was really hoping for a Gallery Edition someday.

I’m interested in Tomb Raider but it is expensive….such a cool autographed book. I love 2-in-1. Man-Thing dried out in the sun - obviously!!! He needs to get back to the swamp. Marvel Fanfare is fun. I haven’t read Dark Room. I can’t believe Subby hadn’t had an Omni yet. Fun video. You’re gonna spend a lot!!!!

I dont even have enough hardcovers on my list for the year to make ten, I've preordered three golden age collections, theres Flash Gordon Classic Collection Sundays vol 3 soon from Mad Cave, and WWI espionage story Petra Chérie by Attilio Micheluzzi from Fantagraphics I'd like.

Larry, this video was recommended to me (again, I already watched it once lol) and I forgot I wanted to make a recommendation to you! Have you read the new "Savage Sword of Conan" from Titan? I've been buying single issues and the art is amazing, the stories are great, and I love everything about it!

For someone who reads as much as Larry does, he's going to have a larger lexicon than most people. Larry is also likely more adept at spelling, sentence structure and grammar. If you read a lot, these things kind of just happen through osmosis. When you read that much and you hear mispronunciations, wrong uses of words or other grammar/spelling type errors it can be like nails on the chalkboard. Just like it's nails on the chalkboard to the speakers/writers on the receiving end of the correction or critique. Humans. We're fun.

Beautiful SS of Conan!! I just watched a whole episode about the SS of Conan and the artists. I can't remember what run they were talking about.

Love those paperbacks with the classic styled graphic design covers! Bunmer about Low! Definitely not an entirely uncommon feeling about Tocchini, even though I'm in the camp that thought he looked great in this book!

Larry, I ordered this book from across the pond based no small part on your recommendation and my love for Days of Sand. I can now agree that this book has a very chatty spine. It has lots to say, especially when the book is new and before the spine is stretched. Seems to have quieted down a great deal afterwards.

people in youtube comments kept bringing up Queen Abundance Secrets by alex lane, and i just ignored it for weeks. i figured it was just another trendy self-help thing. but the more i saw people saying how much it helped them, the more i got curious. when i finally gave it a shot, i could see why. it’s simple but real, and it made me rethink how i go after the things i want. i’m not saying it’ll work for everyone, but it made a difference for me.

Really nice to see your collection. I had 27000 comics at one point but most of them were in my loft which is a terrible place to store them because of the heat. Sadly i had no where else to store them so i decided to start selling them off only keeping what i can store now in my spare room. Just keeping key issues & series i could never get rid of.

Hi Larry, can‘t you just return the LOW hard cover no. 2 to the seller. The book has not been openenddiskussion, yet. This would be better instead of selling the book on ebay.

You are not alone with Low. I just sold both volumes earlier this month because I couldn't finish it due to the artwork. But goes to show even the well received books are not for everyone.

If I knew you were looking for Thor, Vol. 1, I could have grabbed a copy for you at Ollie's early last year! My store had one new copy for $24.99 as I recall. Good find for that price, either way! You know, I liked Low, but I felt the story kept retreading itself after a while. There comes a point in the series where there is a double cross, then immediately another double cross, then a triple cross, and it did that three or four times in a row to the point where I was like "What am I reading?" and I pretty much could see the next one coming after a while.

Low is generally well received, so I think you made a fairly safe bet. We can't win them all. My set is in the shelf and not near the top of my backlog so I'm not sure when I will finally get to it. I also bought Thor vol. 1 recently. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go through it, but I couldn't pass on a great deal.

Your paperback of Martian chronicles is nice. I loved Dandelion Wind. I think I read the other two as well… cool VD gift. Sad about Low.

I read Low in its entirety twice (most recently last year) but didn't care much for it either time, especially by the second half when the concept of "hope" has been referenced about a billion times. It's one of the few Rick Remender titles of which I'm not a fan.

I agree about those too-big omnibus. At that size, readability isn't even the focus. It's about looking good on a shelf. Digital reading wins again! I really liked Low. Greg Tocchini got a bit of a bad rap when he filled in for an arc of Uncanny X-Force back in the day, but it was just a bit jarring in context. His work on Low is a perfect fit!

$12 for a Remender Deluxe is unreal. Great stuff, Larry 👌🏻

Oh Crom .. so many pages, ugh. I'm with you, 750-900 sweet spot for omnis, 1000+ starts getting silly, DC especially love to push it too far. Page count hurumph aside, nice haul, I'm still waiting on my Micronaunts vol 3, my books so far this year are very vintage, Hulk mighty masterworks 4 and golden age classics collections of Fawcett Comics', America's Greatest Comics 3, Bulletman 4, and Doll Man 4.
