Isn’t there a SPCA for horses. Or do they cover horses? He was pretty much on deaths door and they were holding out for more money. What about the other horses they have I doubt they’re in good condition.

And now, it's December 15th and I watched Oliver's first & 2nd videos. I cried AGAIN. This is a movie that should be on the Hallmark Channel! It's so beautiful and heartwarming. It's a story that takes your heart and SQWEEZES it. Your followers on this channel poured out their money and their hearts to save Oliver!!! With God's help and you, JR, and all the food and medicine, he's now a large "Stud in Charge" with a baby on the way. What a story!!! I love this story and again thank you & your sweet family for taking such good care of Oliver. His life is "Going places" now. Yay!!❤😂🎉
1000s of Clydesdales on TH-cam...and then there's Oliver!!! Brought back from the brink and now living the good life. He looks so good. Thank you for the update.
Oliver turned into the gentle giant he was meant to be. He was handsome before but now. He's even more handsome. His body has blossomed over the last 5 months. Thank God you saved this gorgeous horse. You took wonderful care of this big boy. You can see the love you showed him shining thru.
I don't mean to be a jerk but it looks like he was being PULLED, not running behind willingly. It made me very uncomfortable to see that. Why not let him pull something instead of dragging him behind a four wheeler by a chain/rope? CRINGE
@@paulascott5701 yes it may look like he’s being pulled but you have to remember Oliver has went thru a lot. Almost being starved to death then the PTM. Also with trying to get him well, Oliver is a big eater and goes slow. He really is just a gentle giant that has to be coaxed to go a little faster paced than what he wants to go.
👍 to Oliver and Cudos to you JR 👍 and your whole family for helping this Big Boy heal and grow to his Breed. He’s a testimony to your good care and knowledge of how to care for horses. 🏆⭐️🥇. Thank you so much for rescuing poor Oliver!! When another horse lover looked at him, she thought he would not last long enough to train for even trail riding. Now, all of you have done wonders for Oliver!!!
Oliver has become magnificent! What a beefy boy and he is so sweet! He will make a good trail horse for you! Thank you for saving him and loving him. Oliver is easy to love!
Way to go Ollie!!! and family of course!! I've been around horses for 40 years and to this day I have a hard time remembering that the draft breeds do not grow like our riding horses. The drafts grow more after they turn one and continue well into year 4. Congratulations on the Big Handsome Boy, your TH-cam Clyde....doin' a great job! You do not have to thank us, we are thanking you!! To have pulled him away from death's door because we viewers asked you to, that is a miracle - as is Ollie

Oliver's new family has done a lot of work. It's not easy bringing a sick horse thru the worst. Also many thanks go to the people who sent lots of good hay and medicine and all the things that this horse needed to bring him back to good health. It all costs a lot of money. And a lot of people gave generously so this horse could live and become the horse God meant him to be. He's healthy and looking really great.

Oh wow! I never thought we’d see him be able to run like that. What a blessing. He is turning into one beautiful stallion. I think he and Sioux are going to have a beautiful baby.
The difference between dear Oliver before and him now is nothing short of miraculous! I got tears in my eyes while watching this video. Tears of sorrow and outrage at the before images. Tears of joy and triumph with the after images. Oliver is a special boy. Thank God, thank the Rosa family, and for all the Oliver community for helping Oliver become well. It's amazing what a little love can do. He is one big, handsome, sweet, happy fellow now. Best wishes and blessings to all!

Can horses with a disease such as EPM be slaughtered for human consumption?! It seems similar to mad cow disease that effects the spinal cord & limits what parts can be used. I would not want to feed EPM to a dog either. Just the thought seems awful.
@@littlewiseowl4405Not the same thing, because EPM is caused by Protozoa that can be killed by medication. Mad cow is a prion disease which is caused by beta pleated sheets of protein in the brain, and they don’t know the cause.

Wow. This story brought tears to my eyes. Oliver got lucky and it was right on time. I want to thank you for saving that beautiful horses life. The world needs more folks like you all.
I’ve been watching Oliver’s story since you came across my feed on your trip down to Texas. It’s truly upsetting just what poor shape he was in. The fact a human being was *keeping* him this way is *abhorrent.* Your family, along with your family of viewers, have truly come together for his cause. In doing so we’ve been given a window into portions of your family’s lives - the care, love, dedication, breeding and training of quality, happy, loving horses. I cannot thank you enough for sharing these moments on TH-cam - they bring me such joy, especially when bed bound from my chronic illnesses flares. Jesus has asked us to take care of the least of these and I believe this includes domesticated animals who depend on humans not only for survival but also for quality and substance in their lives. Rosa Family, you are truly a blessing to all those who know you and know of you. From the bottom of my heart - *thank you💜*
I only needed to read that you suffer from chronic disease and illness to start to pray for you. (You and I have that in common.) Oliver's story is one for the ages, isn't it?
What a wonderful video. It’s Amazing how far he has come in just over 5 months. Thank you Rosa family ❤ for the the Love and Care you provide Oliver and the rest of the horses. I Love watching your videos 🥰.

Blessings to all 🙏🙏🐴🐴💗💗

Wow. This story brought tears to my eyes. Oliver got lucky and it was right on time. I want to thank you for saving that beautiful horses life. The world needs more folks like you all.
Stroke those 17:10 17:10 muscles, big animals like that feeling of ♥️ love
I had beautiful, huge, Black Angus cattle, grazing in my pasture and they loved being stroked.

Oliver looks fabulous thanks to your love and care ! I'm sure OLIVER knows how lucky he is ... That you found him.💓💓💖💝💛💜💙❤❤
He is so beautiful. From beginning to now, he shines. Bravo to you all and thank you.
@@jenifereddings6190 thank you so much 🥰 I will be praying for you too 🤗 I know watching sweet Oliver has been balm to your soul also 💜

You and your family have worked wonders. Thank you for the love and care you have given to the animals. Thank you from Cape Town.
Oliver is a Miracle. He is certainly not the sick, hungry sad horse you brought home. It’s a pure miracle that you were able to rescue him. I can see how happy he is at your Homestead and how much he trusts you. He is a magnificent boy. It was so lovely to see him running with JR and the ATV. Your family are amazing. Blessings to all 🙏🙏🐴🐴💗💗
There was no life in his eyes when you brought him home. He was at death's door. Now he is a strong healthy young stallion, and so handsome! Thank you for all you have done for him. It's really quite a "love story".❤😊
I still miss little Colt. The only sad spot in the Oliver Saga, the loss of his "mini me".😢
Wow Oliver has come a long way under your loving care! Well done and thank you for taking such good care of him and giving him a happy healthy life!😊

I’m so glad you have him!
Your family are absolutely wonderful people. You knew how much work it would take to get Oliver healthy and you still took on the challenge. I am so thankful he ended up in your family. I don't think he would have survived another auction. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family. You guys are freakin awesome. Love and prayers sent your way.
