- TIME TO CELEBRATE TH-camS HEART HORSE! Oliver, our rescued Clydesdale's ONE YEAR TRANSFORMATION!!! Oliver has come so far! It is amazing to see the results of what love and the care of people coming together can do. In this video you can see the BEFORE AND AFTER of how much Oliver has transformed over this past year. Oliver is a two year old Clydesdale stallion that we rescued March 2023 with the help of our viewers. He was very sick when we first got him and REALLY Underweight. He has come a long way and made a full recovery from EPM. He is now well and strong enough to start training to pull and eventually ride (Of course with the ok from our vet and chiropractor). What a difference from a year ago when you got Oliver. He looks so healthy, his coat is so shiny and he walks and standing tall. I think he knows he is spoiled and acts like a big star! My love and respect for you and your family for making Oliver for where he is now.❤❤❤

Oliver is extremely lucky that you guys got him. I hate to think what would have happened to him if he stayed in his old place. His face at the auction was one of sadness. Some of the things that stick in my mind is the fact that there was a dead horse in the pen when you went to pick Oliver up😢 the shock expressed by the vet when he found out how good you were feeding him😊 and that time Colt was laying on top of Oliver when Oliver was laying down and Colt fell off when Oliver stood up, that was hilarious😂 ❤❤❤

Oliver seemed to have a patient but fatalistic attitude at the beginning, I thought. What really moved me was the running for the first time sequence where he seems to have been filled with hope again. What a patient soul with the patience of Job?
In the end, it was pure luck that he did not sell that day as I am quite sure not may new owners had put so much effort into him once it turned out how ill he really was.
I found you via the first auction video and I am really happy for all of you that you were able to find him and bring him home with you.

I still tear up when I see Oliver's first pictures. And now, I am just in love with him. I believe, and I may be wrong, that horses go to heaven b/c there are horses there as we speak. They are able to fly and maybe even able to speak. Am I just dreaming? Maybe. But if horses do go to heaven Oliver will be there one day. God bless you all.

As I watach the year's recap, once again I am totally amazed and blessed by Oliver's salvation and transformation. A wonderful story of displaying love, just as Jesus does with us. I cry all over again as I see Oliver from beyond pathetic and hopeless, his eyes said it all and to think he is still a baby himself. Who would allow any animal to suffer so??? To say I am thankful for your kind hearts and care for this amazing young horse, is such an understatement. Oliver has filled out beautifully over the year. His coat is gorgeous. He is so kind and gentle inspite of his previous owner's mistreatment of him. He exemplifies forgiveness and lesson to us all. Happy anniversary Oliver! Praying you have a long and blessed life. I hope and pray the idiot that owned you before is no longer allowed to own another horse and that he is allowed to experience the torment he put you through. Only as a lesson to hopefully become a better person. God bless you all.

Im writing this 4-24-24. I remember when you first looked at him and left without him. My heart broke. Then your search was complete and you were able to get him. His stumble was heart breaking. By the Grace of God and your families love , care, good food, vets he has blossomed into a magnificent horse. I love to see him swimming in the river. He walks with his head held high. Looking at how he was when you rescued him is enough to make me cry with outrage and sadness that anyone would allow him to get into that awful state, and looking at him in all his sweetness and beauty now makes me want to cry - with happiness and joy for him. THANK GOD FOR OLE OLLIE HE IS QUITE THE HOSS. IN MY 82 YEARS I THINK HE HAS BEEN THE MOST IMPROVED. DON'T HE JUST LOOK GOOD. WHEN I WAS IN MY LATE 60S I FINALLY GOT MY FAVORITE HORSE A GURELLO QUARTER HORSE,NEARLY 16 HANDS, SMART AND VERY GENTLE, BUT WHEN I GOT HIM HE WAS MUCH LIKE OLLIE WAS .TOOK BETTER PART OF A YEAR TO BRING HIM AROUND. IT WOULD BE HARD TO PICK BETWEEN HIM AND OLLIE,SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Yes, I’ve never touched a horse in my life, and Oliver is my heart horse. Edit: I cried again seeing him so sick and starved, yet so sweet and willing and that instant bond with JR.
My favorite is when JR was swimming with Oliver and them two playing!
So sad for him to begin with, but overjoyed that he has a loving, safe, healthy environment. Had you not stepped in that beautiful, gentle soul would have died without anyone knowing or caring.
And then one day a man fell in love with a horse... You have done well by Oliver and that horse has done well by you. May he bring you and your family many more years of joy and may you all give him many more years of care and love.

Emeri..you've made me cry buckets with this wonderful video..happy tears of course..but still sad ones looking back at that first meeting with JR..Oliver just looked so darn sad..he had given up..he must have felt so bad but he was still so sweet with JR..l was SO sad you were unable to buy him.. then when you said you couldn't stop thinking about him and you'd found him but couldn't afford to buy him l willingly donated what l could to go towards his purchase..then we were all so excited when you drove out there to see how bad he looked.
OMG..he'd lost so much weight..when you showed us his spine prominently sticking up and his sunken hip bones we all knew he wouldn't have lasted much longer. Little did we know how close to death he was until that vet appt. Not just starvation but such low counts im red blood cells and white ones.
Full of infection and epm..Not knowing if he'd get better you went ahead with expensive epm medication..l donated some more and encouraged others to do the same as Oliver needed them so desperately..l honestly think lovely little Colt (Rip) gave him a reason to fight too..Colt brought fun..companionship and Oliver loved that lil guy..This big stallion Clydsdale being bossed by lil Colt😂..remember when you put that big ball in their pastures..l literally sat and belly laughed watching that.. after the loss of Colt he was sad so you gave him a cheeky mischievous stallion in Champ..but our calm Oliver has taught him manners..now he's in charge of a group of foals😂..everyone said to geld him but no need because Oliver is the best behaved stallion ever..even your vet said the same..and the lovely Reuben at Oliver's first shoeing..never had them before but stood there for hrs as good as gold..obviously his favourite 🍎 apple treats helped😂.. now Reuben makes his shoes to measure!! He pulls carts..and is completely unfazed by whatever you throw at him..yes its his nature to be well behaved but he trusts you all...but his boss is JR and he will do whatever he asks if him because he trusts him 100%. HE KNOWS JR SAVED HIM.. that first touch created a bond..nothing will change that ever .. that first time in the river..Oliver loves the river..him snorting and resting his head on JR's shoulder is something special too.. you've all worked so hard with him..washing him time and time again to get rid of all the lice he had..all the good food he needs..yes you are right he IS TH-cam's ❤ horse..but more importantly he is JR's ❤ horse..he didn't know it at the time..but that meeting was destined..I've said this before but our Lord led you down this path for a reason..and you trusted him enough to know he wouldn't do wrong by you..I'm sorry its a long post but l just had to say how much your video posts and Oliver's jouney means to me.
It rebuilds my belief in good godly people..who care about each other and Gods animals. The truth of how our Lord guides us if we trust in him. The kindness of strangers like people helping get Oliver home with you. The joy of redemption of the soul whether it be human or animal or both...and in a world that is turning on each other a community group where nothing matters but love..Thank you for picking me up in the dark times..you as a family and the other viewers too..my ❤ thanks you all so much..
