@@tommorris3688 if there’s faulty valves in place they can be replaced and there will be statuary inspections to prove important plant can work safely. When they don’t pass a stat inspection by law they can’t be used so will get isolated for repair or replacement. Only until it passes its test can they be used. Even if a leak occurs on a valve as such that could contain radioactive liquor, they have many back up systems to contain any leaks to stop them going to the environment. If there’s known defects I’d imagine that they would be sorted before the plant goes live.
Not being able to spell Hinkley should be a sackable offence. The video is brilliant but at the time we were trying to establish a strong nuclear safety culture on the construction site.

This guy worked on earthworks which is the large volume dig as that’s what kier bam don at hpc, they aren’t building the nuclear islands don’t worry
