the rally car run, there's one guy with a big ass tree BEHIND him and it looks like the car was like 2 ft away from him. I had to back it up and lsow mo and was just saying," No! No! No!" I'd be on the other side the tree sticking just the camera out.. AT BEST!

I've stood on the side of the road in Baja with Trophy Trucks passing by at full throttle, they really get your attention up close.
There used to be a couple of V8 cars running in Open in American Rally, it was really cool.
Looks like a blast. When Alex said it felt like being on a boat I believe him.
That's hilarious, I rode in a speed boat for the first time on a choppy lake I told my buddy it felt like riding in a trophy truck...
"Alex hasn't even been in the truck" as he is almost completely inside the wheel well🤣

To be like the others you have to born again like 1000x and maybe you be still far away from that talent

What a dream job to be racing and learning with Ken Block Alex Gelsomino and the team… I live in Maui but someday I really really want to go to team O’Neil or dirt fish and learn some rally driving skills🤞
Highly recommend going to Team O'Neil. They have plenty of elevation at their facility, unlike Dirtfish. I live on the west coast but choose TON every time. Instructors are awesome. Money well spent.

Agree with Mr Voss, I have been a spectator on course with open class cars in Tillamook and Olympia to name two. They make gnarly sounds down shifting down hill in to a tight right, but the truck…..damn guys, good shyt. 🤘🔥😎🔥🤘

It would be cool to see how a STadium Super Truck would fair since it is smaller and lighter than the trophy truck but also has a V8 and plenty of travel in the suspension.

The closest we get is the Australian Stadium Super Trucks. But they're on tarmac tracks (with added jumps and lots of contact)

Wow, heavier things have more inertia than light things... Who knew? But damn, that sounded amazing, and holding the line in a vehicle with the suspension of a 1974 coupe de ville... Rally driving has always amazed me since you basically are driving on your imagination of what the co-driver describes in coming up, since by the time you see it it's already too late...

R.I.P Ken Block. I got into watching Trophy trucks having watched the Mint 400 whilst living in the States and thought it is similar to rallying.
And that right there is the birth of a new sport, Trophy Truck Rallying, someone please make this happen

K we need a trophy truck class in rally stages now. That was awesome!
If the organisers allows it, some of those off-road tyres (not sure which one but I've heard from my rally community in my country) can actually destroys the gravel roads unless the trucks run similar tyres like the ones on the rally cars.
@@hashrulsubzero easy enough to swap to a smaller tire to meet stage rally regulations. The bigger issue is rally cars need to be road legal, and trophy trucks are very much not
So odd to hear a car (trophy truck) on a rally stage that lets go off the throttle that much :) Great to see the comparison and man that thing is huge and it shows even more on a tight rally stage!
