Unfortunately your father can't say I will not make this trip on this road with this vehicle or load, because it is not safe.
The problem is not your father or the roads, but greedy transporters.
Also to a great extent our illustrious adminstration that has not upgraded infrastructure to cope with bigger trucks n loads.
Train Drivers LP in Indian railways should see this extremely tough, Hard,risky,mentally physically hard challenging ,low payment, low facilities, high-level skills required etc Job as compared their easy ,safe, low physical mental challenging, Great salaries in lakhs , huge allowances, good facilities , Great mileage, great pensions etc many other benefits.

We have to have police front and rear plus escorts front and rear People get real mad when they can't get past. With loads 200 or 300 tons you can't pull off the road just any place .

1) make strict check points to be assertive about allowed load limits
2) putting limitations to axel number and length of vehicle to pass through ghats..

There are many causes of this incidents like, Over Loaded Vehicle, Grip Less Tyres in power axle, and improper judgement of turning radius...

These kind of truck need to ban, these cowl chassis trucks are made bu useless roadside welders, also in this particular case the engine power is given over wrong axle. Indeed both rear axles should have power. All together only tractor trailer type of truck should operate, no these non sense contraption made of wood. Phenomenally skilled driver. These guys are not regular 'Ghat Drivers' like the SRTCs have, I am not discrediting those guys, it requires an extraordinary skill to drive a long chasis bus in a ghat that too at night, specially the present day rear engine low floor buses. One drive through the ghat and the bottom of the bus is all sctatched.

Why aren't tractor-trailer trucks common already? These cowl chassis trucks are excessively long and need a long turning radius.
Indian road transport authority is world most corrupt and non sense org to ever exist. Tractor trailer are there but only used by large fleet owners. Small individual drivers not afford them.

I think it is somewhere in Andhra Pradesh maybe Maaredumilli Ghat road near East Godavari and it's very dangerous ghat road even for small vehicles and for bikes too... it's a 20km ghat road every corner is is U shape...

It's not at all tough, but you need to be judgemental... That stupid driver couldn't able to judge the curve... Andra pradesh is home for stupid accidents.. Nobody cares what is the condition of the road, people try to drive 100km per hour on Two-way roads which is the main reason for accidents there, truck drivers need to be trained

You can't ignore laws of physics. Length, weight and momentum of vehicle all matter when you are driving on such road that is not suitable for heavy loaded truck, its tyres can slip on slopes.
