And correct way to diagnose, i made the choice to total overhaul the suspension on my 997, i was to and from to go for OEM again, but i did Powerflex all over, and also 4 new coffin arms from Powerflex, and i choose KW V3 coilovers, also 4 new wheel bearings, totally transformes the car, after nearlly 20 years it was the right choice for me
First-rate assessment and remedial work, which obviously doesn't come cheap. That particular 997 Sport Classic must surely have been one of the more neglected examples of this highly- coveted model : a hefty thump from a pot-hole might have done for the tracking. It's also instructive to learn that the sort of components and work required is remarkably similar to refreshing the chassis of a leggy old Boxster !

This one's not a genuine Sport Classic but a replica based off a used Carrera - hence the somewhat sketchy condition of its old underpinnings 😉

Excellent video and interesting that the Eibach springs are a softer spring rate than the standard springs
...and that the front is configured to sit lower than the rear.
