I love the sound of those 3-cyl OMC motors. Had a few over the years. Not the most reliable motor, but great sounding...

Looks like an exhaust gasket leak. Probably on the main exhaust cover. Letting exhaust gas get in to to water galleries and it rises up the block and out the telltale. And that same gasket or the outer cover one is letting water out. Might honestly just be lose or broken bolts on the whole exhaust cover.

So dumb question from a non-boat guy. What exactly is the point of the pisser? Just a reassurance that the water pump is working?
