Well done, Hannah. I was worried about you for a moment when you said the sun was setting. London can be a lonely, dangerous place. People are in a hurry to get to work, to get something to eat, to get to the gym, to get to an appointment, or to get home. The further out of the capital you get, the slower the pace of life. I can chat to my postman, my delivery driver, and the cashier in my supermarkets. Your walking tours are amazing. I have never been to Vauxhaull or around there. It's funny how parts of London have been gentrified. I really enjoyed last week's shopping episode, too. Love M&S Food, but not one near me. Thank you, Hannah, for all you do to entertain us x
The winter months in London and other cities do get a bit lonely because of the extreme cold specially after the Christmas season is over. Hannah your vlogs are quite interesting and entertaining. Keep doing the good work.

Very enjoyable video. I went for an afternoon tea with my 2 sisters last summer in those tearooms in Vauxhall gardens. The tea was great and very reasonable for London. It’s a very cosy place with board games,sofas open fire and resident cat.
With all the fakery and rubbish that fills TH-cam now, at least you are very real and genuine. Your content is really interesting and you have a wonderful personality.
My husband and I visited London last March and stayed in Vauxhall! We had a room overlooking the river and could see Parliament, and we ate a delicious Sunday roast dinner at a quaint and lesser-known-at-that-time pub called “The Black Dog”. It was very easy to get to all the sites in London we wanted to see no matter how we traveled, so overall a great location to stay!
Another informative and historical look on London, the facts and peculiarities of a place are always interesting like at 2:38. And, you always keep a cool style while explaining the old and new neighborhoods. Cheers from Italy!

There used to be some great clubs over that way.. Cloud 9, Strawberry Sundae, Fire, Hoist, Collesium... back in the 90s... plus the Vauxhaul Tavern... great Sunday afternoon entertainment... lost my mind many nights in those venues :)
Vauxhall was not what I was expecting at all. It seems like a really nice place to live, especially by the water with all of those shops and bars so close by.

Hi Hannah, Another intersesting vlog. The pleasure gardens feature i found educational. It's a great idea for London to have these green spaces. They will obviously look just as picturesque during the spring and summer months. My advice would be keep warm with some more indoor or shopping trips so long as they don't break the bank. P.S your not a 'random woman' or a 'sad nobody youtuber' you are an awesomely talented and intreguing presenter.
-3, we are blessed to have you out in this weather. A study was done in New York a few years ago, they found that people who were surrounded by apartment blocks were lonely. Apparently that sort of living does not inspire friendship or a true sense of community. From personal experience I can say, after living in an apartment for several years - we hated it. That aside, thank you for another delightful vlog to welcome in the weekend, I enjoyed seeing Vauxhall. 🥰

Congratulations Hannah. This video confirms that IMO you are up there with John Rogers and Joolz as a London you tuber. I love this new direction to your work. Each you tuber,the London ones,the Paris ones bring their own perspective on these cities. I love your individual take. Your mix of informative but not encyclopedic history. Your social commentary and your "insider" insights. Please do more "neighbourhood " films. I know you have done some already but they came off from the "shopping" aspect but shopping was not in this one. I do love the posh shops films though. I think almost anywhere can be an isolating lonely place. Even a tiny village. It's an Archers myth (the bbc radio show) that everyone talks to and associates with everyone else. Even tiny villages have non overlapping friend circles and low to high social strata who remain oblivious to the others presence. Ostensibly anyway. Seen it. When I visit London people just seem normal to me. Not weirdly over friendly in a creepy way but not rude and hostile either and if I go in a coffee shop or cafe all the other cusomers seem to be regulars and/or friends of the barista and convivial conversations are going on. And Ive seen Londoners helping people and being kind too. Can you do a visit to Kew Gardens later in spring.
Used to live in battersea just a walk away , wow it really has changed very modern and clean now ! Was not a safe area when i was there looks very quite now , , enjoyed watching , took me back , 👍

I don’t know anything about putting videos together or “production” other then watching them but that being said, pretty awesome 👏🏼 job. All the spliced in period pictures, and everything runs so smoothly together. Doesn’t look like there’s very many (any?) people around. Truth be told, “people” can be quite disappointing. I’m 61 yo and have just dumped a couple of friends I’ve had all through growing up. I Loved them, worshipped them, I bent over backwards to accommodate them because I thought they were so wonderful. And then I began to see that I was the one who deserved all that! I was the good, kind, loving one. I hear from friends I am missed but, sorry (not sorry) they should have treated me with the living respect I treated them and deserved. Thank you for the video Hannah ❤a joy as always!!

Evening Hannah in Vauxhall which I use to go past on the train every day for years. I was born in Kennington. I still find Vauxhall boring and a bit dodgy at night. The heliport is just down the road too so helicopters all day. A lot of the flats at Vauxhall along the river are owned by foreign people who are never there just as an investment. Vauxhall is not for me! Thank you for the vlog Sue

Each you tuber,the London ones,the Paris ones bring their own perspective on these cities. I love your individual take. Your mix of informative but not encyclopedic history. Your social commentary and your "insider" insights. Please do more "neighbourhood " films. I know you have done some already but they came off from the "shopping" aspect but shopping was not in this one. I do love the posh shops films though. I think almost anywhere can be an isolating lonely place. Even a tiny village. It's an Archers myth (the bbc radio show) that everyone talks to and associates with everyone else. Even tiny villages have non overlapping friend circles and low to high social strata who remain oblivious to the others presence. Ostensibly anyway. Seen it. When I visit London people just seem normal to me. Not weirdly over friendly in a creepy way but not rude and hostile either and if I go in a coffee shop or cafe all the other cusomers seem to be regulars and/or friends of the barista and convivial conversations are going on. And Ive seen Londoners helping people and being kind too. Can you do a visit to Kew Gardens later in spring.
I lived in Kennington after moving to London. It was a great place to buy a property then totally modernize it.

I don’t know anything about putting videos together or “production” other then watching them but that being said, pretty awesome 👏🏼 job. All the spliced in period pictures, and everything runs so smoothly together. Doesn’t look like there’s very many (any?) people around.
Truth be told, “people” can be quite disappointing. I’m 61 yo and have just dumped a couple of friends I’ve had all through growing up. I Loved them, worshipped them, I bent over backwards to accommodate them because I thought they were so wonderful. And then I began to see that I was the one who deserved all that! I was the good, kind, loving one. I hear from friends I am missed but, sorry (not sorry) they should have treated me with the living respect I treated them and deserved.

Very cool vlog!!! I enjoyed it. Vauxhall is such a very nice area indeed, and those different architectures 🏢are amazing. London really seems to have different Londons inside it, both the historical side🏰, as also the modern ones🏢. Btw, Hannah you should have asked the MI6 who will be the next 007 🕵🤔😄! Evening Hannah in Vauxhall which I use to go past on the train every day for years. I was born in Kennington. I still find Vauxhall boring and a bit dodgy at night. The heliport is just down the road too so helicopters all day. A lot of the flats at Vauxhall along the river are owned by foreign people who are never there just as an investment. Vauxhall is not for me! Thank you for the vlog Sue
