Aston Martin vs Bentley let’s GOOOO!!
We’ve got our hands on the DBX 707, the most powerful & quickest 4-door Aston Martin, and it’s going up against the quickest and fastest Bentley available in Europe, the Flying Spur W12!
So let’s check out how these British behemoths compare… Starting with the Aston, it’s housing an AMG 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet that can produce (you guessed it) 707hp and 900Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy though, weighing in at 2,245kg, and it’ll set you back at least £190,000.
Think that’s expensive? Well, you’ll need even more to pick up the Bentley, which starts from £235,000! It’s also heavier, tipping the scales at 2,437kg. It’s powered by a glorious engine, though, a 6-litre twin-turbo W12 that can produce 635hp and 900Nm!

The Bentley is a looker. To me the best car regardless of not being the “fastest”
For me it's the 11.5 seconds to 1/4Mile, and having a top speed higher than porches, mclarens and ferraries (211mph, 340kmh)

It is gloriously beautiful, but the Volkswagen/Audi W12 engine is a turn-off for me. Should be a 6½ or 8 litre V12.

Finally Sam gets the spotlight he deserves. Also this shows the dynamic issues of SUVs, which I adore since there is no reason for sporty SUVs to exist. Saloons and Estates are *always* better.

9:10 This is the problem I have with these rolling races in manual mode. You always do it in 3rd gear at 50mph and that gives certain cars a disadvantage because of different powerbands and gearing. Instead I think it should be done from whatever speed BUT at whatever gear the car will make peak power. Should be much more accurate but that's just my 2 cents. 😅

Yup, say this was a porsche for example where 2nd gear goes to over 70 mph. rolling from 3rd at 50 mph would be way way outside the powerband.
They should do it like that- 50mph and whichever gear but at 3k rpm or 4k rpm

As a German the BENTLEY is probably my favorite car brand. It just looks so classy and epic. Even though I'm German, I pick BENTLEY over Mercedes because I don't like SILVER color on the Mercedes. I prefer Gold.
The Rolls Royce is too English but the BENTLEY is perfect. I also love that you can drive BENTLEYs in Assetto Corsa Competizione or any other racing game. Rolls Royce is not really included there. My favorite BENTLEYs are the Mulsanne EWB and the Mansory Flying Spur.
Bentley is more expensive than Mercedes.
@@akashi283 yes it is. And Rolls Royce is even more expensive. Technically, the Rolls is the best luxury car but it's not for me, because I like to drive my cars in videogames too.

The sound deadening in the Bentley is insane. Sam was speaking softly and even at maximum attack it was crystal clear, you can barely hear any outside noise he might as well have been cruising on the motorway not doing 150 mph+ on a runway

It's when you see an elegant berline (although it isn't the most elegant) side by side with a SUV, that you realize that SUVs are on the ugly side.
Yet the DBX is one of the best looking SUVs...
If I could afford either of them, I'd also have suitable accommodation for them!!
That Bentley's just so elegant, despite being HUMONGOUS! DBX better than most 'SUV tanks' but still not something I'd consider personally.

@@loganmartin8613 Flying Spur is the ultimate sedan. The most prestigious luxury sedan with a top speed over 200mph. M5 and Panamera are great performance luxury sedans that can handle curves and what not, but the Bentley is simply in its own league. The Rolls is cool and all but a Rolls isn't a driver's car, it is not engaging to driver hard at all. Put a Flying Spur against a Panemera on a airship and see what happens.

I think for rolling race both cars must be on auto and the gear box must select their preffered gear on the said speed, that will make kick down more accurate.

I remember when the first Bentley GT/Flying spur came out in 2004 with a 552 hp W12... 18 years later, 635 hp doesnt seem like that much of an advancement. Just goes to show how incredible this engine was from the get-go.
