Very cute apartment! An idea for the hall - we installed a gallery hanging system in ours, which is adjustable and not too obvious. We also had directional spotlights put in the ceiling instead of normal lighting. Works a treat and we can change the pictures easily when we want to. PS - I love the Juliette balcony 😊😊
Your kitchen is very pretty. You did a good job with the space you had. I love the wall paper. 😊 I have learned from experience to never let installers design a floor. They do not really care.
Thankyou for the inspo in your videos - I see and get your passion! I think you should change the mirror in the bath- you will miss a big selling opportunity/ expand the room and give everyone as much view as possible of themselves in their new digs. Add more mirror if you can to the hall to expand the space. Your handling of wallpaper and disguising the mechanical with the straw basket was exceptional.❤
Definitely yes to the shopping in Paris, and on the way, any glimpse of a Parisian bakery or other French food, or your favorite place to eat.😉 We just got our ticket for Germany in May. Hope to be able to visit France. Your Apartment looks inviting and I hope you can sell it soon. 🍃
This place is in a really good, I can't believe that it hasn't sold yet! I don't know if the price is in euros or dollars but the place has been upgraded to a rather higher standard than most would redo an apartment in Paris. If anything it's due to the cheap, small minded jerks who don't want an assessment in order to bring up to date the common area hallways which appear to never have been updated. I lived in Paris (Les Halles) I know that the way you see the common areas, it's most likely the way it's going to stay. I don't know WHY the French don't fix anything up. It's the same in Burgundy where your friend from French Country Life is living (Marloes & Olaf)....it really ticks me off that only the British and any Americans overseas fix up stuff...for the Brits I get it, in England you have a lease, you own the house, the King owns the actual land, don't know if it's still this way everywhere in the land, but I think so. Here is the USA, it's called the American Dream, to own your very own house (land & all) so fixing & re-building & developing & all that is what people dream of and work hard to have at some point in their lives. The place is comfortable enough because most Parisians are out all the time with the number of things to do there & the tons of cafes & restaurants. It's like NYC people are living more outside than inside. Anyhow, it was not a boring video, don't put yourself down, you guys did a great job, now you just need a great realtor! Is that your little dog? What a super little model! Sorry for long comment but the French really get on my nerves with their lack of interest in bettering a property!!!
I suggest you go over to the site Never Too Small, look for video titled (Light Filled Scandi Style apartment in Paris) 37sqm. (Same 18th district as yours). I cannot get over the prospective buyers coming to view your apartment & making comments like "not knowing what to do with such an entry hallway"...well, you just walk through it to get into the rest of the apartment....duh! FYI, (this is a lowballing tactic used by many to get a reduction in price) don't know if you have lowered the price on your apartment, this is not my business. When touring your apartment, the first thing I thought of was that a wall needed removing in order to open up the space, yes, (even the French are opening up to "open concept living"). All of this depends on funds available & if you would be given permits to go through with such a project. In any event, if this was my place, I would contact the Architect from this video or take a look at other Never Too Small videos & possibly you can find a buyer via word of mouth since many Architects are always looking for a project & have many connections. Much luck to you for a speedy sale!@@Frenchcountryfriends
Why would the price be in dollars when the apartment is in France? Why did you move to France when you have such disdain for people who don't share your values? Why bother moving if you want everything to be the same as the place you left.
Thanks for watching it was something we debated on. Not sure you caught the audio in the video but staged it last time it was on market & it didn’t help. Luckily we have wonderful photos of the apartment furnished thanks to our previous renters. When we saw the apartment, it was unfurnished and feel for it. We hope for like minded individuals! Fingers crossed!
Staging will definitely help and appropriate pricing- markets change but buyers are always affected by correct pricing and appearance (staging) - Realtor talking here😊.
Good luck. You have a challenge in front of you. The syndic is clearly not maintaining the building and that is always a red flag here for buyers. When we were buying, we just turned around when we noted the lack of maintenance in a building. The 1st floor is also very hard to sell because of road noise, first floor businesses noise, security challenges and lack of light. Im not sure where you are in the 18th, there are great parts and awful areas. The "high" (for France) interest rates are killing the low end market. Even here in the 9th with desirable apartments, the market is moving very slowly. It is completely different from 18 months ago when apartments received multiple all cash offers within hours of listing. You will have to be very aggressive in pricing.
Thank you for taking the time to write us! Yes…it is very challenging. I don’t understand why the Syndic allows majority votes to pass sometimes. Once a building reaches a certain level of decay, it should be mandatory that owners pay to fix the building. No voting.
That apartment is gorgeous! And the 18th is such an amazing neighborhood!! Sending good vibes for it to be sold quickly!
Thank you for good vibes! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great ideas! 💡 We are hoping that the empty spaces will offer a creative optimism for potential buyers as it did for us when we viewed it. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Bonjour, Etude Lepic, 18eme.

that is only 614 square feet...I liked the old tiles on the kitchen wall & would of kept them in the new design..it's like NYC prices
I thought NYC would be more expensive for this space. I’ll have a look for curiosity reasons…💕
If it is still for sale of course…
And what is the nearest metro ? Thank you
It’s only good if you are under 30
Price? 💙🦋💙
