Yeah you’re better off filling out job applications , doing affiliate tee marketing or just selling shit on eBay ! I think survey sites are just side incomes for people who have no actual money making skills
I really wonder if people claiming to make $500/month is true and how much work they actually put in. My survey shows very little money per hour and specially for watching videos.
It is true, but they have multiple mobile phones watching videos or computers running through the watch list. It is possible, but the ammount of effort put in can only be reached by people who are truely dedicated. No one makes a living off this. If they say they do, they are crazy.
I don't think swagbucks was ever meant to be treated like a full time job. The idea is to get some pocket cash in exchange for doing whatever you would normally do on the internet. I use swagbucks pretty casually. Occasionally i'll do a survey or two if it's short enough, but i tend to stick to using the search feature and the daily poll. Sometimes i turn on the video rewards thing and let it play while i use my phone or play with my cat or whatever, occasionally checking on it to make sure it's working. If i'm online shopping on amazon or ebay, i try to remember to do so through swagbucks for cashback. One hint is that you actually save money if you only get $25 dollar gift cards. They only cost like 2200, or something, so unless you're in a hurry for a bit of extra cash, it's best to save up for a while.
It can indeed be worth it to you but this depends on the person and how much you value your time. If you can make more than what swagbucks get you in other ways then it's not worth it. If you have no other way of making more money then that's your best bet. Here's the vid on how I think time should be valued: th-cam.com/video/N26oQz7QH6U/w-d-xo.html
There's other ways to make money online that actually has money involved. Nothing against people that use Swagbucks but I would recommend researching other ways to make money driving around on garbage night and scrapping is an easy way to make 400 times the amount of money you make off of Swagbucks in a week
You do it the right way. I have made 500 or so dollars on the side in the last year or so plus the actual value of discounted products and services I received. If I don't want to continue after a trial I pocket the swagbucks and cancel before trial renews. Then I'm not out of money and I earned product and swagbucks on the trial. If you get more over what you would pay to continue a trial then you are effectively just getting cash back to that point and cancel trial at the point that extra sb's are not present in the equation. I use Swagbucks when searching things for my actual work. If I go to Google Docs to work on a doc I search it on Swag search, gmail and so forth. If you use it as a passive cash back system it becomes less of a "time user" and more of a passive background or lifestyle cash system. If you mix this with other ones like Inbox Dollars, or Forthright it's great and pays in Bitcoin too you can make some nice side money without reaaally using too much of your time. It takes like 2 seconds to do a search. Do a search, do daily poll, put in a swag code while you are already doing searches or documents for work It isn't rocket science. I am glad this video talks about not wasting time but honestly doing a survey on a toilet or watching a cryptocurrency video (which they have done quite a bit about on sb lately) isn't boring to me. It just means while I am on a bathroom break I can still make money lol. Not a ton but literally I can make money while "sittin on da toilet". lol
Yeah I’ve taken a couple surveys.. spent over 2 hours on them.. and I didn’t qualify for ANY of them, and if I did take a survey, I didn’t get any points...
After watching this video and Knowing that you are an honest person who cares about his viewers I liked this video and I subscribed to your channel, thank you for helping me not to waste my time
I love the way you used actual math to figure out if swagbucks was worth your time. Excellent video! Thank you. I shared it on Facebook. I was only doing swag for fun, but after listening to your warning about the Cammy, I need to get rid of that fast. Thanks.
I use swagbucks, as a 15 year old kid, who can not get a job legally, and has a lot of spare time, gives me a nice income, so I can buy the things, I want. Rather then stressing parents for it. I think swagbucks, is nice if you want to have a second income on the side
They wasted my time. I took most of the survey and watched the entire video and they cut it off without explaination. They don't give me any money for my time.
My gf currently has no job and would already be happy making around 300 bucks a month. What’s the best online way to make that amount (or more) with like surveys etc..?
I agree this doesn't get food to the table . It is just a tool for extra cash. I do daily polls, use search engine , enter swag codes and I run videos in background muted when I'm doing other things like watching tv or making my kid do homework . It doesn't take up any time for me. I make around 30$ a month, and cash out target gift cards. My full time day job money is entirely for my family. I don't spend even a pie on myself from it other than necessities ..These 30$ I use it as a personal spend money to buy anything I wish for from target..
New subscribers here, if you don't mind me asking what do you do for a living? You're very knowledgeable in finances, also thank you for all the informative videos.
Others have asked before. So far, I've released limited personal information about myself since I believe the internet is a bit too wild for my personal life. I have said in the past that I am an engineer.
usabilityhub is so much better in terms of time spent. The main problem is you get only about 4-6 surveys a day. Each take roughly 30 seconds - 1 minute (nothing at all). But hey it's decent because you usually earn 20 cents for each survey (sometimes 10 and sometimes 30 but I've noticed 20 is much more common). I am on my third day and I've already earned $3.4 for doing very very minimal work (I''ll probably reach $4 by days end). Every time there is a survey I get a notification and do it very quickly (since I'm working on my computer anyway). Other than that, I am not having to stay on their website. It's pocket change but If you could find enough websites like usabilityhub you could earn decent pocket change. Think about it. 20 cents x 60 is about $12/hour. Honestly one of the best rates of return. *Edit: I've already reached $4.10 and it isn't even the evening yet. At this rate I could see $4.5. Of course I have my computer all day as I work from home but given the labor hours I put in, it offers a very good return. Today I've earned $1.20 from just 5 tests that took around 5-10 minutes to complete. In the most optimistic sense that's $14.4/hour and in the most pessimistic ( that's still $7.2/hour. My personal time consumption is somewhere in the middle.
Bro, lol are you kidding? I can usually make a minimum of 5 dollars a day, so it's hard for me to believe you are getting 5 dollars a week. Just don't watch the videos, do the surveys instead.
Thanks this was really informative! and helpful, it saved me some time, to listen to your researching this swagbucks. i subscribed and liked this video i gave it a thumbs up. uk youtuber. Thanks for sharing this.
BeatTheBush Yes, i remember when i first saw them...."Oh no, kill me". I get better deals/savings from the wal mart receipt scanning app and T mobile app. Even today i got to watch Star wars rogue one in imax 3d, for 2$. Lol
Yeah, its called "T mobile Tuesdays", they usually give away 3 things on the app every week. Today was 2$ fandango, 3 month free indie something movie service, and third is usually a food deal
Yes it is worth your time. You get paid a lot for doing a lot. The only problem is convincing those people you are not cheating or have an adblock on. Not to mention the vidos are ridiculously long for 1 SB or 2 or three. They have really made it worse then bedore. I barely make 2 or 3 dollars per day now watching videos. They think everybody cheats so they have done all sorts of garbage to make sure that you don't.
I think 'a lot' depends on the person. How many swagbucks are you get a day when you remove the shopping benefits? The shopping portal is a different story because you have to spend money to get the swagbucks.
So far I got a 25$ eBay gift card with points I got from subscribing to things but i'm still waiting on a bunch of SB from completed offers... Now I'm waiting for 25$ PayPal card. Swagbucks is alright..
Thank you so much for this awesome video :) Btw do you know if Ebates works in other countries too? I live in Germany. Was wondering if there are cash back sites that I could use here.
You're welcome. If a website does not block you in your country then I suppose you can order stuff from there but you still have the problem of international shipping unless they have an outlet in your country. Germany culture is pretty foreign to me so I'll have to pass to others who may know more.
I keep trying to sign up I used three different emails and it says account already exists Even tho I’ve definitely never signed up on Swagbucks before I tried putting ‘forgot password’ but it still won’t let me in:/
Yeah it's pretty shady to me. It's almost like the survey is really only to see if your income is sufficient enough to do online shopping. These days you won't make money unless you spend money. Period.
I certainly think its great if you want to save up for something you really want thats expensive. If you want something on amazon and you stay consistent to making a couple bucks a day, over the course of a year you'll save lots of money to buy it. Right now im staying coniistent around 100-200 swagbucks per day. Im a 14 year old and this will add up big time. Good for people who want some extra cash for hobbies etc.
I use it. I only do surveys though. If you have time then try it if you want. I do it at school so I have a lot of time at school and home and do it. I’ve claimed like 50$ and spent it just so you know. I’m saving for a 100$ card.
It's actually not that bad for the initial sign up. Just nab all the low hanging fruits earns much more. Just do the surveys that are more than 2 minutes long.
Swagbucks used to be great at fist but they keep changing the rules every single day. Like they have nothing better to do then watch how we are watching their videos. If they don;t like something they change 3 videos for 1 cent no 4 videos for 1 cent no 5 videos for 1 cent no 6 videos for 1 cent ah ah ah. I feel like that moron from Sesame street count von count.
Then there's the companies, like fast food, that want you to do surveys with the promise of winning a big prize that you never win. At least McDonald's gives you a free sandwich with a survey, although it's only a choice of 2.
Informative video helped a lot....Nonetheless do you have any advice as to which site/sites DOES end up making money in the long run or per hour, making it worth our time? Thx
What IS worth your time? That's an interesting question. Swagbucks and Inboxdollars both makes you a really meager rate per hour when you factor in the time involved. I haven't really seen a site where you can just easily sign up and make a decent living immediately. Realistic money makers would be to start your own blog, make a website that gives real value, etc.
So I watched your video and you're saying its a waste of time when earning money and doesn't amount to anything as far as payment goes, but what if all you're wanting is gift cards to buy things offline, is swag bucks good for that? Thanks again for the video it was really good and interesting to listen to
It doesn't matter what you want to do with the rewards, it's the value of the rewards in trade for your time that matters. If you want to burn a few hours because you have nothing better to do to get $5 of gift cards then you can do that. It's a matter of what you would do with that time instead.
I really like swag bucks. I earned some gift cards and it didnt take me long. Inbox dollar canceled my account and the cash out limit is pretty high compare to other gpt sites.
A few years back they used to offer more tbh. I've always just auto-played videos, so I never actually engage with the site too much. I remember I used to get like 100$ a month of the site. Which is not much but I don't really do anything.
Some people have said so. How many times do you have to click on the video to replay? Does it ever get stuck, is it within your field of view or the sound is turned off?
In the mobile apps it just depends on your device and how it can handle what it's doing. But it usually doesn't get stuck on ads for me (I'm using an iPhone 5), sometimes a "network error" gets in the way but that issue is basically the wifi's fault. The battery life can also interfere somewhat, when the pop up for low battery comes up. Apart from that it runs smoothly. In the desktop I have 2 monitors connected, so I usually relegate that page to one of the monitors away from my field of view and it plays automatically. You usually only have to interact when you come across a video that doesn't play (wrong country error code) or something to do with the connection. But it should even switch from playlist to playlist automatically. You could technically click when the videos are done to speed up process if you want but it's not necessary.
The frequency of monitoring is is what I am worried about. It detracts from my zen of highly concentrating on one thing and sort of being in the moment with what I'm doing. I suppose for those that do not mind, it might be worth it.
Sometimes, the link doesn't work and there is no way to track it. By the time you realize, it's months later or you never do realize. Still I've gotten a good amount of points from my initial use.
I do only the easy stuff like videos. Surveys are hard to qualify and have to be careful not to answer falsely. The videos are checked and reduced or increased in amount if I do not do them the way they want. 20 videos for a lousy 3 cents and that is if it pays otherwise you have to do another 20 videos and try again. Way too many crashes. Not too many hours in the day to make 5 dollars.Know what I mean?
I used to make 10 or more per day just watching videos until they messed it up.It went from 10 videos for 3 cents to 20 videos for 3 cents. They even have 11 videos for 1 cent. Like anybody would be dumb enough to all for that. You can try perktv. I just confirmed that they also pay just watching videos.
Swagbucks works but its payout is very low. Unless you have some spare time and dont have anything better to do with your life, I dont recommend using SB.
Not bad. Not sure about the offers they have these days but I made it out with $50-100 years ago. The thing to be careful about is that you need to stay active I think 90 days before you can cash out. So if you do a month worth of stuff or sign up and cannot find anything more. Then you become idle and not look at it again even though you requested the check, it might become idle and they will cancel the transfer.
I realize this is an older comment but those places are a time sink and you only get "offers" at first then they dry out. If you are stuck on doing something like this, I highly recommend amazon mechanical turk. Amazon will pay you for doing small tasks like copying data from receipts or transcription and sometimes there are universities that post questionnaires and studies for their psychology departments (those usually pay the best) . I have made about $60 from it but realized soon after it wasn't worth my time. I rather deal with a reputable company like Amazon.
The short answer is hell no. The main problem with survey based reward sites is constantly not being able to qualify on surveys. As if the low payout wasn't bad enough, not being able to complete surveys means you'll earn jack shit every day.
Have you checked out the Ibota app? If not would you be willing to? My first impression is that it is great if you buy all name brand foods , but if not it is not worth it. I would like to know your take on this.
Not worth it for me. I don't play app games and the surveys keep rejecting me after the same freaking questions. Just let me answer the questions once and then only give me surveys that I can complete.
It's working well for me £11 of Amazon vouchers and I've spent £0 and maybe an hour of my time all I did was an audible trial, the support team were helpful too.
Surveys are the best way to make money for sure. I have made £10/$13 this week while being on holiday from work. obviously could not replace my job with this but normally it's an extra £20 a month which makes a big difference, 1 weeks grocery shop or a treat takeaway or somebody's birthday present.
Ehhh... these site are all the same. Low pay when you do surveys. When you try a product you get a bit more but all of them rounds out to be very low per hour for time you use.
I signed up a long time ago when they were offering a large amount of sb to sign up for free trials and I ended up getting quite a few gift cards in the matter of a couple days. Now I dont even bother because it takes way to long to earn.
Thank you! Great video, I saw someone advertising this on youtube and I was going to do it but it seems useless. Honestly a much more effective way of earning money like this is using your computer to mine bitcoin, you make about 7 dollars a day for doing nothing but having your PC on.
You forgot they kind hook you in with monthly master rewards when you do daily goals, surveys seem to be the only real way to make some pocket change. They video apps can be left on autoplay so just find an ancient iPod or old device and let it run on that for 10 cent. Overall a mixed site, i just cash out with paypal, (if you want cash) which better than inbox dollars.
A good way if you really want to make the extra change is use and old phone and leave it to watch the videos and live your life extra change if you think it's worth it

Don't do this if you do let's say you earn sb half of it goes to him I saw it cuz it asked me to share the link and 10% of the sb goes to him

BeatTheBush Yes, i remember when i first saw them...."Oh no, kill me". I get better deals/savings from the wal mart receipt scanning app and T mobile app. Even today i got to watch Star wars rogue one in imax 3d, for 2$. Lol
***** Nice! I had to pay maybe like $10 for Rogue on on XD you used T mobile app to get that deal?
Yeah, its called "T mobile Tuesdays", they usually give away 3 things on the app every week. Today was 2$ fandango, 3 month free indie something movie service, and third is usually a food deal
lol... i should try it ha ha. Thanks for the tip!
Some thorough and interesting calculations. Thanks
=D
Thanks for being honest and making a video that isn't faked for referral money!
Yeah it's OK but then it starts to get harder and harder to get those easy points.
Did u get your gift card? Any trouble? Cuz people here are like they didn’t get anything?
Thank you so much for this awesome video :) Btw do you know if Ebates works in other countries too? I live in Germany. Was wondering if there are cash back sites that I could use here.
You're welcome. If a website does not block you in your country then I suppose you can order stuff from there but you still have the problem of international shipping unless they have an outlet in your country. Germany culture is pretty foreign to me so I'll have to pass to others who may know more.
Thank you this was very helpful and informative 👍👍
=D
I'd make more money recycling aluminum cans! lol
i work around 3 hours, on a good day i make around 250-300 sb
I keep trying to sign up
I used three different emails and it says account already exists
Even tho I’ve definitely never signed up on Swagbucks before
I tried putting ‘forgot password’ but it still won’t let me in:/
By far the absolute worst survey site out there
but, you can't be always qualified for surveys.
Correct. You can try to qualify by taking a few questions. Then if you get rejected, you've wasted the time to qualify.
Yeah it's pretty shady to me. It's almost like the survey is really only to see if your income is sufficient enough to do online shopping. These days you won't make money unless you spend money. Period.
They still give you like 2 sb for it tho
Almost signed up. Thanks for the good info!
I think they change it to make it harder to earn swagbucks. It's their job to give away a little swagbucks as they possibly can.
vist our page to see more ways to get more swagbucks.
Pro tip: do swagbucks surveys/offers at work. Get paid to make pennies. Better than getting paid to browse Reddit
Hmmm... but doing this is soul sucking mindless clicking.
the website change too me its not worth it anymore
Some did say their payout is a lot less these days.
How was it before?
HONEST REVIEW GODBLESS
Then there's the companies, like fast food, that want you to do surveys with the promise of winning a big prize that you never win. At least McDonald's gives you a free sandwich with a survey, although it's only a choice of 2.
Huh... free sandwich, nice! Yeah... it's roughly $2/hour in value you get.
It buys me fishing gear so i dont have to pay for my fishing gear
Nice!
With amazon gift cards?
@@awakenthedreamers924 yup ive already bought over $200.00 of fishing gear with amazon gift cards
Great info! Thanks
=D
Informative video helped a lot....Nonetheless do you have any advice as to which site/sites DOES end up making money in the long run or per hour, making it worth our time? Thx
What IS worth your time? That's an interesting question. Swagbucks and Inboxdollars both makes you a really meager rate per hour when you factor in the time involved. I haven't really seen a site where you can just easily sign up and make a decent living immediately. Realistic money makers would be to start your own blog, make a website that gives real value, etc.
Swag bucks is a waste of time don’t even bother to download it
You don't need to download it really, just use the website.
It's a matter of what you would do with that time instead.
so true, have you did one on the perk app, apptrailers or viggle?
I haven't actually. The reason why is sorta complicated though.
I really like swag bucks. I earned some gift cards and it didnt take me long. Inbox dollar canceled my account and the cash out limit is pretty high compare to other gpt sites.
If you're okay with the rate of pay I guess I cannot stop you. It really depends on what else you could be doing to earn more.
thanks for your videos...is it true that they can give $10.00 for sign up?
On US side it's $3 if you earn $3 within 30 days. The $10 offer is buying a gift card from their giftcard shop.
It’s called SwagBucks but it’s more like SwagCents.
surveys can be very boring but doing then with music is a whole different thing try it out
A few years back they used to offer more tbh.
I
Why not mention that the real way to make any money with this is by getting people to use your referral code ??
Don't use Swagbucks. Most of the time, they never give you points and hope you never ask to get the points back. That's how they make their money.
Lol, yes making money off watching videos just does not add up. Like you said, the pay rate is incredibly low... like $0.50/hr or less!
He is a very well spoken young man, i like this video
Swagbucks works but its payout is very low. Unless you have some spare time and dont have anything better to do with your life, I dont recommend using SB.
Ok. Whats your thoughts on Inbox Dollars?
It’s a scam
If you make 60 sb an hour and say do 1-2 hours a day 200 sb on average. 200 x 365 sb / 100. 730 a year so if ur a kid thats a good amount
Wait.... 60sb an hour x 2 hours = 120. 60sb = 0.60 cents. I think returns are about 1000x much better studying.
Sixty cents an hour is a good amount? What third world country are you from? You would be lucky to make even that much on swagbucks.
I got 1385sb yesterday
Yes, it's better to study but if you do it during summer you can earn minimun 200$ easily
Oh yeah oh yeah
Very informative video. Thank you
You're welcome! =D
I used swag bucks back like 11 years ago when i was 12 to get a 30 day runescape membership card
Did that ,done that....
I guess I can give it a try. Not being a coupon user, I probably wont give it much use but I'll try anyway to see.
Not worth it for me. I don't play app games and the surveys keep rejecting me after the same freaking questions. Just let me answer the questions once and then only give me surveys that I can complete.
New Subscriber. Thank you for creating this video. Do you have any videos on how to set up an Amazon FBA account?
I do not at the moment. But to me, the setting up an account is easy. Getting the products to offer is the hard part.
It's working well for me £11 of Amazon vouchers and I've spent £0 and maybe an hour of my time all I did was an audible trial, the support team were helpful too.
It's not too bad for the first few high dollar items you can do. You'll find those run out quickly and you cannot do much more for good returns.
Most of these things aren't enough to pay the electricity for your computer or phone
I rather work my butt off at a job instead of using an app that doesn't even give enough money
You're a great speaker... I wish I had your speaking skills.
You should check out my first video. I only got a little bit better after hundreds of videos.
wait people actually do this instead of work i just do it cause im 14
Ahh... I think for side money but the money you get per hour just isn't worth it. But for 14, $2/hr isn't too bad.
do you think this is worth it to buy minecraft pocket edition? im serious
Sure within 5 days I made 10$ minus the 1I points I'm waiting on to get confirmed (I fill the surveys with BS ) and I'm 14 in sure you can do it
Yeah, I just spent about two hours on this site and I'm getting peanuts.
Surveys are the best way to make money for sure. I have made £10/$13 this week while being on holiday from work. obviously could not replace my job with this but normally it's an extra £20 a month which makes a big difference, 1 weeks grocery shop or a treat takeaway or somebody's birthday present.
I just found a good channel :D
Thanks for saying so. =D
Is it stampylongnose
Same
Is worth it for a 12 year old
i agree 100% so what are the sites to making money? or site that pays a little better than swagbucks
Ehhh... these site are all the same.
Don't forget to subtract out the electricity.
*great stuff*
You forgot they kind hook you in with monthly master rewards when you do daily goals, surveys seem to be the only real way to make some pocket change. They video apps can be left on autoplay so just find an ancient iPod or old device and let it run on that for 10 cent. Overall a mixed site, i just cash out with paypal, (if you want cash) which better than inbox dollars.
Sounds like the only person getting paid the real swag money is the CEO of SB! Would have been nice to think of Swagbucks first!
A good way if you really want to make the extra change is use and old phone and leave it to watch the videos and live your life extra change if you think it's worth it
