That actually raises a good question actually. Why wasn't the final Junior Troopa in the Number 10 spot instead of Magnus Von Grapple 2.0? I would personally find it MUCH more egregious considering it's the 6th encounter as opposed to Crump's fourth, and it actively baits you into thinking you're gonna fight the Koopa Bros, an enemy team that would have been awesome to rematch with higher stats and a new attack, which I think is worse than the missed potential of an earlier Grodus fight.
@Brian John 1. Why are you saying this in the replies instead of just making a normal comment? 2. That doesn't really matter because its still part of the paper mario series which many people consider a rpg series so its fair game.
@@Dman25Yeah Bowser was actually pretty competient in that game and overshadowed Antasma big time. It's a shame because Antasma has one of my favorite designs for an antagonist in the Mario series, but he just feels like he's there in favor of Bowser.
@@noysam3570 Yeah I mean my main problem with Dream Team in general is that it has way too many forced tutorials. Even late game you're still slammed with them.
Another thing about Dragohoho is that when he attacks while he is taller, his projectiles are nearly impossible to dodge. I can't remember if they made it better in the remake, but in the original it's so freaking hard to dodge. About the Fire Vellumental, you didn't mention what was flawed about it, other than the fact that it _is_ flawed. Guessing you mean the fact you basically have to tank damage and there's no way to know that from the beginning?
Yea that’s true for the fire Vellumental and that’s true for Dragahoho but I’ve mastered getting over his attacks, I think I did it when I was trying a no normal enemies run
Or that if you don't know what you are doing, or know that you need to do anything different than normal attacks to finish him off or don't get the right panels, he freaking full heals. No other boss does this. I had to fight him the equivalent of three times on my first playthough due to this bullshit.
The fire vellumental is flawed cuz if you know what you're doing you just go straight. On the first playthrough it's annoying if you don't know exactly what you should do
@@LuigisLegend I’ve played a little of hard mode and it’s not that bad so far (lord knows it’s probably gonna get a lot harder though). I’m genuinely not sure if they upped the HP on enemies and bosses, just damage. Not even bane-of-my-8-year-old-self Beef Cloud really stood much of a challenge. Giant Battles are quite a bit harder though.
The most painful boss ever is the Monty Mole Express Giant Battle in Inside Story (Forgot name) The only reason for this is that you can only use fire attacks to beat the boss and guess what, you need to get excellents every time without fail. This sounds like a challenge but is downright impossible if you have an average ds or 3ds as the microphone on those systems are so crappy that I got walled by this fight for weeks which lowered my enjoyment for the game which is a shame
You don’t need all excellents, you’ll probably need at least 2 but if you keep using fire when the train enters the hill or whatever it will harm the actual train inside. Then make sure not to shove him into the spiky mountain because you need that to keep happening as long as possible
@@ShroobInvader I never had much trouble with the mic either. It's just that the fight restricts you to *only* fire, which is really unsatifying compared to punching. You really get the feel the impact of the punch with the giant fights. Not to mention the fight's on a turn limit, and it just comes to a halt when you have to destroy the hills.
1: Grodus literally explains why Crump is at the end of the X-Naut Fortress. He left with Peach to go to the Palace of Shadow... or at least nearby so that you would open the Thousand Year Door so he could sneak in behind you. It was a set up. You fight Crump, beat him, get the last Crystal Star, then run into "Frankly", who tells you to open the door, then after you beat Gloomtail and complete Riddle Tower, Grodus heads to the throne room. I get being tired of Crump, but "we could've fought Grodus here" would've gone against the plot of the game and honestly could've probably invalidated any reason to go into the Palace of Shadow. 2: Why were you playing Dream Team without a stylus in the first place?
Sticker Star would've been so much better if it told you how the game works instead of you having to figure out yourself or looking up a guide to figure stuff out. Blind players struggle so much with the game in general because they don't know how anything works. They think stickers are finite, they use lots of normal stickers on bosses(which have defense that divides normal damage by 4), they always have their album full, thus, having to get rid of stickers and worst of all, they miss every opportunity they have to get more money. The game would also be better if the bosses didn't have defense and instead just had more HP. It would make normal stickers much more viable.
For superstar saga, I would choose Hermie III. Mainly because this boss fight takes forever and he constant ups his attack speed which is just annoying
I've played my fair share of Mario games, and honestly my least favorite boss in a Mario game is Zeekeeper X. I HATE motion controls with a fiery passion, and my 2ds is an old used one, so there's some wonky moments here and there, and you're telling me I have to go through two phases of those controls to defeat this bird? It took me one month of attempts before I beat it on hard mode, and I regret that I'm starting a new hard mode playthrough. May God have mercy on my soul.
I knew giant bowser was going to be number, I really loved giant bowser, say what you will but giant bowser from a story perspective is amazing, and the song size up your enemy is an amazing song. Can't wait for your next video
Even though this boss doesn’t really count since it’s just a tougher regular enemy, Piranha Bean from Superstar Saga really deserves to be on this list. Firstly, you face this boss alone with just luigi, meaning you don’t get any bros attacks and you’re stuck spamming thunder until the boss goes down. Secondly, this boss isn’t even hard, it’s just boring it only has like two attacks that are extremely easy to dodge for an enemy this late into the game, and speaking of why is a boss this simple so late into the game. It’s so forgetful and bland that if yoshi theater and the Prince Peasley encounter weren’t included in this section, I think it would’ve been the most forgettable beanstar mission by far. I like Superstar Saga’s bosses, I really do. I think a-lot of them are very unique and fun to fight, but this one just feels like it put in last minute, and it’s a shame Nintendo didn’t do anything about it in the remake :(
If this deserves to be here, I think the flying shy guys from dream teams also need to be here (there is even the regular bossfight music playing). But it's just random enemies you already defeated several times. So imo it's the worst bossfight because it has the bossfight music but it is just random common enemies
"You could've fought Grodous here" then what? Peach is saved. Crump has been fought... 4 times as a rival boss and this is the final fight against him. Fitting for the final star. Remember you also fought Crump 2.0 on the ground so it would be weird to not have a final fight against him be in a mech. Also he was fought as the tutorial boss, it only makes sense he'd be the final star get chapter boss and sets up for the next chapter. We as the player should be weirded out that it is him... we expect Grodous but then nothing. It is a trap. We are being baited. It is brilliant in that regard. Grodous isn't an idiot who says "I'll fight Mario in person." but rather "I'll bait Mario or have Crump win. If Crump loses Mario won't know my skill set and I can stand a chance." For fighting Grodous to work... well Tec would need to never be deleted and gets deleted because they free Mario... who chases Grodous into the door. (Without his Map and by extension Star Powers meaning Mario losses a mechanic till you clear the final dungeon.)
That’s a fair point, I think the problem with this is that it could have been so much more as a boss, which kinda makes it anti climatic, but the other thing is that there isn’t much wrong with this fight so…
Tbh he shouldn’t have been in chapter 5 because you just fought him ~4-5 hours ago so I feel like if the boss you have never seen since chapter 2 made an appearance then that would’ve been 10x better
I loved giant luigi vs bowser BC the two finally share their true fight(after BIS)in the end but the hard mode will definitely screw me over especially the airships and lifting bowser's foot.
And that’s the biggest disappointment with this fight, because it use to be really good with the cinematic attacks and it literally being Bowser vs Luigi, but Hard mode took all of that and threw it off a cliff
@@ShroobInvader And the worst part is the glitch where Luigi is pulled toward the lava until he dies. This is one of the most infuriating glitches ever put into a Mario game, especially for Boss Rush, and do you want to know why this glitch is so infuriating for Boss Rush?
Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates Kamek in Partners in Time. Also, the boss was pretty hard for me. So hard, that I actually rage quit. But I did beat him.
If I made this list, I would put Papercraft Kamek and Kamek's third battle from Sticker Star on here. Much like Meta527ii, I have a bone to pick with Kamek. First, Papercraft Kamek. His moves are huge and difficult to avoid, and while his barriers are active, you have to throw Luigi, but he will keep moving out of the way, making this more frustrating, especially when he teleports. You also have to waste your time to pick Luigi back up, and he can increase is forcefield to an unbearable range, making doding an absolute pain. Next, Kamek from Sticker Star. The first fight isn't so bad, but the other two fights require a magical amount of patience to keep your sanity, because as soon as the battle begins, he will turn all of your stickers into sandals, which don't really deal that much damage to begin with. They do return to normal after the battle, but because whatever sticker you use disappears, you will end up wasting whatever item you could have used for later without knowing what it was before using it. The third fight is especially bad because you need three slots to hit all of the Kameks before even one levitates, because if that happens, you will end up wasting stickers. Why doesn't Mario just throw the sandal? It would save him all of this trouble.
I definitely agree about the hard mode with giant bowser. I didn't find the battle to much of a hassle until I came across the beyblade and diving star sequence. Most of my runs were ended there or I was stuck in a loop of getting bowser dizzy and trying again. After atleast 2 to 3 hours of trying I finally beat him.
I actually really liked the Bowser fight in Sticker Star. It was the first game I ever beat and it's actually kind of difficult (I beat him on like 3 HP). Also I had the official game guide so I knew all the Things that I needed to have.
Zeekeeper, either version, has the terrible tilting controls on the 3DS. I also respect you for not just having every inclusion be from the Sticker Star trilogy, since it’s rather tough to find a boss that is mechanically sound, since they all have to be fought under terrible battle systems.
so far i've only seen the first entry, and i gotta say its good (the way u present it not the boss itself) because you explained all the points with you recapping only the points that NEED to be recapped in order to explain the other points, and your reasoning and detailing for why the boss is on the list makes ABSOLUTE SENSE. All and all, good job (*insert thumbs up emote cause my sMooL bRaIn doesn't know how to put in emotes/emojies*)
@@ShroobInvader ur welcome, also the rest of the video is great (prepare for a L O N G comment) 9th entry- just pretty good, no comment needed 8th entry- had you call the boss easy a lot of times, although, in my opinion, only 4:48 should have not had you call the boss easy since everything else makes sense (4:32 starts off the point, 4:41 prepares viewer on what else the boss is other than easy, 4:48 did connected into why the boss is easy, but it could've been said somewhere else, also, at 4:54 you then call it simple I think that's a nice mix up and each time you use the word simple, it is a recap, but for some reason, it DOESN'T feel like you're just blatantly copying yourself) 7th entry- FAVORITE ENTRY, very quick, but had GREAT content from you (also the reason for the music being used is F U N N Y A F) 6th entry- good entry, but you could've explained WHY its bad in design tho (still pretty good ngl) 5th entry- good entry, the best placement for the "no bowsers inside story giant bosses are on the list" and is quick with said placement, and the way you just connected every point into the word SLOW was big brain (I can't spell ginius B R U H), with 9:05 to 9:30 being great example and summary of this (also I found the explanation of why optional bosses aren't included just in the middle, like, LITTERALY 50/50) 4th entry- just pretty good, no comment needed 3rd entry- just pretty good, no comment needed 2nd entry- ironically, very long, which is why I feel like it stands out in a good way (also I feel like the entry was so long is because you were legit ANGRY at the boss and just wanted to straight up VENT about it, and since you explained the 1st entry in other videos a lot, that would explain why the 1st entry isn't as long as the 2nd, despite it being worse in your opinion than the 2nd entry) 1st entry- just pretty good, was great at explaining the reasoning to first time viewers, and probs wouldn't annoy long time fans of your channel Overall, this was a great video and was much better then the first bosses video that I watched and commented on, like, entries in this video, with the worst entry being number 8 (the entry has only ONE thing that I find a little discomforting and the rest is pretty good) and the best entry being number 7 (the entry had a good joke, didn't overstay its welcome, and, as usual in this video (and I presume future videos) had great explanations) Seriously tho, this was a great video and I'm so glad that you're able to make great commentary/explanations with your videos (damn that's like, the 3rd-4th time I've said that, welp, that's some irony for ya)
My least favorite fight was the one with Bowser in the toad town for inside story, not only was I running not the best builds since I was picking it up from my kid self, but for whatever reason I could not time that jump above the massive fire blast. It took me so many attempts to beat and nearly stopped me from continuing the game again.
@@mr.sniffly5297 Right, I didn't get how it worked until I was older but once I was able to memorize where the orbs were, it was the easiest minigame. I wish they used it more!
🤣, yeah in the premiere people were like wait a minute don’t tell me it’s Gooper blooper, I just like the music and you’d be listening to the same music for 3 minutes so it might as well be one of the best themes in the game
@@ShroobInvader You're just saying it because like me, our DS mic were working perfectly. I hate this boss because it's unfair for those who don't have a mic that work properly.

I’m genuinely surprised not to see Shrowser on the list. Though, I guess you don’t really count this as a traditional boss. Also, I could maybe argue Mimi from Chapter 6 can be a worse cause. First of all, you can use Bowser and defeat her when she barely left the ground. Second, the fight is mildly annoying for me. She moves fast, the Rubees block attacks, she flips, and she flies. Her attacks shouldn’t be hard (Peach is literally invincible when ducking so all attacks can be in theory blocked anyways). Since you don’t have Luigi yet, the only thing to do is either wait until Mimi reaches low enough for something like a Bowser attack, use Thoreau, or use one of those items that are quite obscure in this game. While far from impossible, imagine trying to aim something at a flying protected fast-moving target, and you get Mimi, worse if she is in the 3rd dimension instead. At least Bonechill looks to be a tolerable battle (I’d confess, I did cheese Bonechill, but not Mimi). Talking more about Mimi’s cheese, she got it worse. Bonechill’s cheese arguably is simply due to bad level design, as the ceiling is too low/high for Bonechill so that Luigi can basically repeatedly jump on Bonechill’s head ‘till defeat. Chapter 6 Mimi is effectively the *PRIME* example of Super Paper Mario’s biggest flaw, which is that your characters are so OP, you can defeat near absolutely anything instantly with barely even any grinding (if that is even required in the first place). But opinion’s opinions. I think for me, Mimi could perhaps be in a near-tie with Bonechill only edging slightly worse because she is the epitome of Super Paper Mario’s biggest flaw, and also she’s mildly annoying.
Putting my potential edit to my reply because why not? I guess Bonechill does emulate a little bit of the bad game design with the pitiful damage. Mimi has an attack of 2!… And she’s in Chapter 6! She has half the attack of Bonechill, and she’s still somewhat late-game. For comparison, Mr. L (both forms in Chapter 4) has a higher attack, with Brobot doubling the attack compared to Mimi. There’s a *ton* of common enemies with just as strong if not stronger attack stats than Mimi. With enemies as early as Crerbils and Boomboxers with the same attack stat, and enemies like Magikoopas and Floro Sapiens with higher attack stats. More comparisons? The chapter 3 bosses (except Francis, unless you’re counting the Meowbombs he summon), rather early-game all have the same attack stat as Chapter 6 Mimi. For Bonechill I’d say, any comparisons to him that are disappointing are either those somewhat rare enemies like Muths and Amazee Dayzees, with both of them admittedly being like piñata enemies more than anything, or other late-game bosses, with the earliest one with a tied attack is Brobot, and the earliest boss surpassing that is as late as Brobot L Type (the chapter before Bonechill’s chapter). Yes, Bonechill’s power is pitiful in this game, especially compared to other Chapter 7 bosses and enemies, with Bowser being doubly powerful compared to Bonechill, and common enemies like Dull Bones and Ruff Puffs being as powerful as him.
Bro, don’t be silly. There is no such thing as Shrowser, Partners in Time ended with your epic battle against Princess Shroob and there was no terribly forced Bowser battle at the end that could be taken out of the story entirely and nothing would change. I mean, why would *anyone* include a battle like this, right?
I would have put Shrowser as the worst boss in Partners in time because there's no real reason for that boss to exist in the first place except for the typical bowser as the last boss of the game. But I understand why you went with Kamek
…I totally forgot about shrowser, but hey I guess that’s not a bad thing if I am forgetting a bad boss, it would be right under Bonechill if I thought of Shrowser
Ooh, new video! Loving the content, as a fellow Mario fan and TH-camr. The Fire Vellumental was annoying because I almost beat it but it decided to bring it's health back right near the end... 10:25 Woah, woah, woah! SPM?! Wait just a sec! How could you- Oh, it's Bonechill, carry on! I defeated him in 7 seconds with Luigi. Bad fight because too easy I personally didn't mind the Papercraft Battles, but the Boos were annoying THE BOWSER BATTLE IN STICKER STAR IS THE WORST FINAL BOSS RUN IN MARIO RPGS!
Thanks :D and yeah don’t worry there was a boss from every Mario RPG so it made sense that SPM was on the list somewhere, but it would be number 5 cause I forgot Shrowser on the list, which is a rip
I personally don’t count Super Paper Mario as an RPG, but if I did, a lot of the bosses from that game would be in my top twenty. Most of them are just too short and easy, even without cheese.
I love how my 3DS touch screen started messing up right when I got to Giant Bowser. My taps just started registering in the wrong place and it made the fight almost impossible because there were some spots on the screen I was unable to touch such as the shy guys in the "TAP TO SHAKE 'EM OFF" attack. Literally had to change my settings to left-hand mode to beat him.
I personally find mamoshka to be my least favourite boss in the entire series of rpgs. For a early game boss it inflicted dizzy on way to many attacks, the giant rock attack feels janky and can inflict dizzy on both bros in the same hit. The snowball attack comes way to fast and the marathon attack also feels wack to avoid
The main problem I have with Mamoshka is the permanently missable gloves he drops. Like, why this boss of all things? There’s no indication whatsoever that he would drop an item like this, at a 50% chance no less, and that it’s the only way to obtain said item. It’s just so random. If you’re gonna have an exclusive item drop like this, at least have it make sense in terms of the boss you receive it from.
My choices for the games you didn't play Paper Mario: Jr. Troopa (Same reason as your #10) Mario RPG: Axem Rangers (they're the coolest seeming bosses in this game, but they're gone after one battle. Huge missed potential) Rabbids: Mecha Jr. (This battle is a game of run away and shoot until you win. If you get cocky, he can easily take you out and unlike most bosses, you have to re-fight the battles that lead up to him before getting another chance)
Least fav PM64: Tutankoopa/Goomba king PMTTYD: Smorgs and Doopliss without partners SPM: Brobot L Type or 2nd Mimi (aleast the music is pretty good) I would say Bonechill but aleast that has challenge SS: Final Bowser , sparkle goomba , pokey boss CS: Iggy TOK: Color Pencil or Tapes

You know, I tried to play DT on hard mode since I love that game, but I never finished it since the L button on my 3ds broke and I hate playing with messed up controllers. But I had fun (even though I didn't get far). I'm gonna refresh my memory on these bosses for my least favorite.
This guy's reasons for the bosses being bad: "Welp, it's just boring 'cause it's too easy." The next boss he literally take a 180 degree turn and goes like: "This Bowser fight is the worst, it's just too hard, omg! I died 20 times min." Also, it's supposed to be played with a stylus, that's how Nintendo intended the touchscreen to be used. Lmfao. That just isn't a valid argument at all! I do mostly agree tho with the rest but I just found your reasoning a bit…. off sometimes, there are definitely other aspects that would have been more of a justification but then again, it's subjective so I guess there's that!
At first I thought this was a hate comment but no it’s not, I think a lot about bosses being super easy is that if they are, there isn’t much to talk about them, a great example is Dragahoho which did make the list, I mean he has one attack, a concept of the rock that doesn’t do anything, and he can be tall or short, that’s really it, also I did play it with a stylus afterward, I had to whip out my Wii U game pad stylus cause I was just so tired of dying, and it worked eventually, thank god I did that and it’s the only time ever I had to do that with a DS or 3DS game. That’s your explanation to your comment and thanks for not making it a hate comment I appreciate it
And do you want to know what the worst part of the Giant Bowser fight is? If you have an earlier copy or version of the game and you are on the "Repel the Shell" section, you will be magnetized toward the lava due to a glitch.
oh then your very screwed, I think I could possibly have that version cause I got the game late 2012? or late 2013 idk, Im just gonna assume I don't have it because I don't hate that part but my god that would be annoying
@@ShroobInvader This is one of the most infuriating glitches ever put into a Mario game, and it's especially infuriating for Boss Rush, because if you lose to him, you not only have to go through the first phase of this fight, but you have to go through all four of the lengthy giant battles again in order to get another shot.
You’ve never had microphone trouble on the Fawfuk Express fight, have you? Try it on a 3ds, which has a worse mic than a regular DS. Then see if it’s worse than Kretin. I didn’t have much trouble with him and didn’t mind the fight. But the Fawfuk Express? My mic keeps me from beating the fight reliably.
17:24 worst boss for me because my touch screen SUCKS I'm talking the middle of the screen is so unresponsive. You can tell how fun it was to deal with the spear guys and airships
Okay, I’m glad the Fire Vellumental made it to the list. Because the boss was slow AF and I was an idiot and used the 1,000 fold arms RIGHT before the end. ALL HP RESTORED!!!
I don’t agree with #10. Your reasons don’t really make sense. If u had to pick a bad boss from TTYD, I would choose someone like Doopliss due to how easy he is
@@ShroobInvader I love giant bowser tbh, you gotta admit, the music size up your enemy is amazing and giant bowser from a story perspective is also amazing
Personally, I had FAR more trouble on Zeekeeper Hard Mode than Giant Bowser Hard Mode. By the time I got to Giant Bowser, I'd already died a lot on the others, so I kinda got down the general gist of a giant battle, and I feel Bowser is far easier to memorise a pattern for. The difficulty came mainly from having to react fast or you'd take huge damage. Zeekeeper? OH HECK NO! You gotta dodge several attacks perfectly IN A ROW to even have a CHANCE of hitting the stupid bird once. And the Zeekeeper's attacks are INSANELY tricky to get down at times. And the Gyro dodging section can just go screw itself.
Honestly, I clicked this video specifically because I was hoping to see Giant Bowser get trashed on. The motion controls literally freeze up half the time for me, and the second phase requires swiping the stylus so quickly that it feels as if it could damage the screen. It might not be as offensive if the regular bosses were even close to being as hard, but I was able to beat the final boss before he could even attack (On Normal Mode, because I ragequit Hard Mode from this fight).
Yep, I swear there is literally 2 sides to this fight lol, it’s people who have played hard mode and hate it, and people who have played hard mode and love it
I had to fight mega bowser 4 times in normal mode because of the diving star because im Bad at reaction based moments when im under stress and i honestly failed it so often that i had to skip the section i did it once before so i didnt feel bad for skipping it
10:45 I took him out in less than 5 seconds, how? I tried jumping on him with Luigi to deal more damage, but since he is so tall Luigi kept colliding with the roof and jumping back on him wich killed him in no time
Well would ya look at that who woulda thought what the number one spot was xD solid list though man, I’m actually surprised by Fire Vellumental being on here, I thought he was rather easy and bested him relatively fast on the first try. If I had to pick a representative from Origami King it’d probably go to Sumo Bros, compared to every other boss including Handaconda it felt like such a weak fight
Hard mode giant bosses just sound like a chore. The bosses themselves are long enough on their own, any longer would just overstay their welcome. Giant Bowser X alone took me multiple tries both normally and in the gauntlet. Hard mode aside, zeekeeper sucks. I'll put aside the motion controls for a moment and mention that you can't actually have a normal battle with him. You have to chase him for a while dodging attacks before catching up to him, which then requires you to scratch the ever loving crap out of your screen, multiple times. Only then can you actually deal proper damage. All this sounds cool but the way it's done makes it more annoying than fun, especially if you fail to catch the bird. And on those motion controls, atleast with bowser, the sections were awesome and didn't overstay their welcome too much, so long as you did it in the first few tries. While cool, chasing the bird is not as awesome and takes way too long for a single segment alone. And you have to do all this twice, and that's assuming you don't flub up at specific sections.
I would call the Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 fight the least good of TTYD too. Not because I'm tired of fighting Lord Crump, but because his machine gun attack is just so overpowered and deadly.
@Shroob Invader In one of your vids you talked about going into the time hole that goes to peach’s castle in the past early but you couldn’t find any vids of it. I made one about it! Also, for some reason scutlet is one of my favorite bosses in bowsers inside story and I don’t know why.
C'mon, guys. The REAL worst boss in a Mario RPG game is trying to get Bowser to sneeze. Can't tell ya how long it took me when I was younger to do that and bad enough, you gotta do it more than once. :'0 (Okay, it's not all TOO hard but I did struggle a lot with it.)
It took me so many tries to beat Hard Mode Giant Bowser because I for the life of me couldn’t get past the squish attack, I did it my first time and messed up the star driver but after that just instant death by bowser’s fat foot
The king bob omb fight from paper jam was very frustrating. I was also infuriated at the lemmy, Morton, and iggy fight before the final boss. You take out the first two koopas, and then Morton launches a chain chomp that killed me instantly without telling me what to do. Infuriated, I game overed 3 times in a row, not knowing how to avoid it. Apparently in the double bowser jr fight, you're supposed to get a tutorial on how to avoid trampoline attacks. I think I killed them too fast and didn't get the tutorial. Because I didn't it, I kept dying over and over and getting infuriated.
the only reason I don't like the giant bowser fight is because every 3ds I've ever had has a broken gyroscope so I literally couldn't beat it, but other than that it's a really fun fight, even on hard mode
That explanation for the final entry undermines most of the rest of the list. An easy fight that most players will clear on their first try? Boring, scrap it. A hard fight that actually takes advantage of the hardware and requires many tries to overcome? Absolute worst, why is hard mode hard? Seriously, you just complained that hard mode is hard. You didn't bring any actual reasons besides your refusal to use a stylus for a game that uses the stylus in creative ways.
Well if you have tried hard mode, then you know that it affects all battles, this is actually fine by me, it’s why antasma X is my favorite boss in all the Mario RPGs, but the problem with this is that Giant Battles are controlled by the stylus and tilt controls, which isn’t the best way to control the game in my opinion, so it’s hard because the controls suck, not because of the boss doing a lot of damage or the boss having a lot of HP, this is why i hate Giant Bowser, it doesn’t matter to me if it’s used in a creative way to me if I do the boss 20 times in a row, im just gonna get drained of fighting the boss, especially because it’s not in my control
bone chill is one of the best bosses in super paper mario. it has super great music, an awesome back story, and multiple ways to defeat it. when I first saw it I loved it. it's also a perfect end to chapter 7 as it focuses on mythology so having the boss be essentially satan being fought in paper Mario heaven is perfect.
Those points are true, For me personally I think the music is ok, it does have a good backstory (even tho I don’t really care) and it does have multiple ways to defeat it, the problem with the fight is that those multiple ways are all super easy to defeat him with, now to fix this fight you should make it have more ice on screen to have more action in the fight itself

Nice
That actually raises a good question actually. Why wasn't the final Junior Troopa in the Number 10 spot instead of Magnus Von Grapple 2.0? I would personally find it MUCH more egregious considering it's the 6th encounter as opposed to Crump's fourth, and it actively baits you into thinking you're gonna fight the Koopa Bros, an enemy team that would have been awesome to rematch with higher stats and a new attack, which I think is worse than the missed potential of an earlier Grodus fight.

I actually like the fight but to be fair I did have good mic inputs for my 3DS so
I just cheese the boss fight by putting me DS next to a fan
You don’t need all excellents, you’ll probably need at least 2 but if you keep using fire when the train enters the hill or whatever it will harm the actual train inside. Then make sure not to shove him into the spiky mountain because you need that to keep happening as long as possible

1 forgot about that good point, 2 because I lost it, and I had to bring in my Wii U Gamepad stylus to beat the fight and it didn’t work completely
Giant bowser cutscene takes a while since you can't skip or retry bosses on hard mode.
That’s something else I forgot about but it adds to the time of me restarting of course

"No"
Sticker Star would've been so much better if there wasn't specific attacks designed for each boss.
The Goober Blooper boss annoyed me with the poison
Yep I agree
I can win without take damage
Sticker Star would've been so much better if it told you how the game works instead of you having to figure out yourself or looking up a guide to figure stuff out. Blind players struggle so much with the game in general because they don't know how anything works. They think stickers are finite, they use lots of normal stickers on bosses(which have defense that divides normal damage by 4), they always have their album full, thus, having to get rid of stickers and worst of all, they miss every opportunity they have to get more money. The game would also be better if the bosses didn't have defense and instead just had more HP. It would make normal stickers much more viable.

Thanks and yes this is true but for me all of that is just gone because of how many times I had to redo it
Even though this boss doesn’t really count since it’s just a tougher regular enemy, Piranha Bean from Superstar Saga really deserves to be on this list.
I think a-lot of them are very unique and fun to fight, but this one just feels like it put in last minute, and it’s a shame Nintendo didn’t do anything about it in the remake :(
Eh I never found it that annoying and even if I did, yeah I don’t really count it as a boss fight

If Crump loses Mario won't know my skill set and I can stand a chance."
For fighting Grodous to work... well Tec would need to never be deleted and gets deleted because they free Mario... who chases Grodous into the door.

Oh I hate it because it’s extremely easy lol
@@ShroobInvader The spike balls was the attack that angered me the most.
I hated when magnus von crumple used that vacuum attack
Fun fact: Bonechill can be beaten in at least 30 seconds if you use Luigi's High Jump. Poor guy just gets stomped into infinity
You mean like 15 seconds right, it’s that short
I definitely agree about the hard mode with giant bowser. I didn't find the battle to much of a hassle until I came across the beyblade and diving star sequence. Most of my runs were ended there or I was stuck in a loop of getting bowser dizzy and trying again. After atleast 2 to 3 hours of trying I finally beat him.
its so stupid and its why its number 1
I actually really liked the Bowser fight in Sticker Star. It was the first game I ever beat and it's actually kind of difficult (I beat him on like 3 HP). Also I had the official game guide so I knew all the Things that I needed to have.
Yeah that catch at the end makes sense why you don’t hate the fight then
Zeekeeper, either version, has the terrible tilting controls on the 3DS. I also respect you for not just having every inclusion be from the Sticker Star trilogy, since it’s rather tough to find a boss that is mechanically sound, since they all have to be fought under terrible battle systems.
Yep it is a bit unfortunate to not have a great boss in that game, but yeah Zeekeeper is also bad, but as you can tell I hate Giant Bowser much more

3rd entry- just pretty good, no comment needed
2nd entry- ironically, very long, which is why I feel like it stands out in a good way (also I feel like the entry was so long is because you were legit ANGRY at the boss and just wanted to straight up VENT about it, and since you explained the 1st entry in other videos a lot, that would explain why the 1st entry isn't as long as the 2nd, despite it being worse in your opinion than the 2nd entry)

Nice explanation and also I honestly just forgot about shrowser ngl

That’s very fair, for me personally that’s why I love the fight tho because it’s so difficult
The main problem I have with Mamoshka is the permanently missable gloves he drops. Like, why this boss of all things? There’s no indication whatsoever that he would drop an item like this, at a 50% chance no less, and that it’s the only way to obtain said item. It’s just so random. Rabbids: Mecha Jr. (This battle is a game of run away and shoot until you win. If you get cocky, he can easily take you out and unlike most bosses, you have to re-fight the battles that lead up to him before getting another chance)
Good picks from the descriptions of them
I'm glad you think so. I loved your list too. I agreed with just about all of them
Bonechill is very cool, but then you superjump into his head twice and he dies.
One of the biggest disappointments in Super Paper Mario
Twice, you say? I don't know. Most times it's 4 times or just once.
Bonechill can be taken out in 5 seconds. If you've seen Vinesauce fight Bonechill you will both laugh and cry about how easy it is.
Yep it’s really sad 🤣
I mean obviously it’s a bit more intricate if you don’t use Luigi
I would be in the live chat if it didnt kick me lol

And thank the lord for that 🙏
Great video man. You earned another sub!
Thanks I appreciate it 👍
I don't think I ever play the SPM fight legitimately, I just go 3d and jump on him
LOL, nice
The sad thing about bonechill is that fighting him as Luigi kills him twice as fast as you already were.
Yep and that’s how I did it on my first play through
i saw ur channel randomly and I subscribed! love your content
Thanks :D
You know, I tried to play DT on hard mode since I love that game, but I never finished it since the L button on my 3ds broke and I hate playing with messed up controllers. But I had fun (even though I didn't get far). I'm gonna refresh my memory on these bosses for my least favorite.
Ok yeah that’s fair, that’ll get in your way of playing any game
Bonechill needs to be on this list.
It may or may not be
It probably is it's the shortest boss out the entire game

@@multifandomfangirl9664 Mimi chapter six can be killed in less than 5 freaking seconds if you are high enough leveled and playing as Bowser
That’s your explanation to your comment and thanks for not making it a hate comment I appreciate it
@@ShroobInvader what happened to the old stylus?
And do you want to know what the worst part of the Giant Bowser fight is? If you have an earlier copy or version of the game and you are on the "Repel the Shell" section, you will be magnetized toward the lava due to a glitch.
oh then your very screwed, I think I could possibly have that version cause I got the game late 2012? or late 2013 idk, Im just gonna assume I don't have it because I don't hate that part but my god that would be annoying
@@ShroobInvader Dream Team came out in Summer 2013, and I don't have the game, but any copy that came out in Summer 2013 has that problem.
@@ShroobInvader Oh, and Meta527ii has been hit with this glitch.
I did it on 3DS, didn’t have trouble, but if you mic is messed up then yeah Then you should have it on the list
YEP, DID THE SAME EXACT THING
I don’t agree with #10. Your reasons don’t really make sense. If u had to pick a bad boss from TTYD, I would choose someone like Doopliss due to how easy he is
I'll say it now. I had no problems with Giant Bowser on normal, and I played with my finger.
On normal yep same makes sense
when I fought bowser in DT I felt like complete garbage because I couldn't beat him for so long
I never won against bowser x lol
Oof yeah that would make the fight annoying

@@naaylealikhan8129 I'm hunting you down for you even CONSIDERING that the fight w him is good
Personally, I had FAR more trouble on Zeekeeper Hard Mode than Giant Bowser Hard Mode.
Yep, Zeekeeper was horrible I completely agree, I had a worse time on Giant Bowser but man Zeekeeper does suck a lot as well
Honestly, I clicked this video specifically because I was hoping to see Giant Bowser get trashed on.
Yep, I swear there is literally 2 sides to this fight lol, it’s people who have played hard mode and hate it, and people who have played hard mode and love it
@@ShroobInvader The people who love it probably have New 3DSes. I've heard they have much better motion controls than the original 3DS/3DS XL.
I like giant bowser but the SYSTEM TILT SECTION OH THIS SYSTEM TILT SECTION!!!! REALLY, IT DOESNT EVER FOCUS ON MY ACTIONS!!!
That’s fair lol
I meant the helicopter luigi and bowser bashing
Really cool video Shroob
Thanks 🙏
The Kamek battles in Sticker Star can be annoying if you fail to get a good battle spin, the flip flops function basically like an Eek-hammer.
I had to fight mega bowser 4 times in normal mode because of the diving star because im Bad at reaction based moments when im under stress and i honestly failed it so often that i had to skip the section i did it once before so i didnt feel bad for skipping it
cool my idea was made into a video on your discord (even if other people thought of it before me lol)
Yep here it is :D
epic
What would your list be just curious
10:45 I took him out in less than 5 seconds, how? I tried jumping on him with Luigi to deal more damage, but since he is so tall Luigi kept colliding with the roof and jumping back on him wich killed him in no time
YEP, bam, and that isn’t something you find out by looking at a TH-cam video, that is something you can do first try
Yes that fight was really close as well but I mean that fight was just really stupid imo so I put it on there and of course number 1 was number 1
Oh yeah don’t worry, Zeekeeper still sucks to me, it’s just not as hateful as the Giant Bowser fight
The bis giant bosses were way easier ( unless you count the original fawful express )
It’s a sign, how perfect TTYD is when even it’s worst boss fight is still a good one! In my opinion TTYD is the perfect Mario RPG
I would call the Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 fight the least good of TTYD too. Not because I'm tired of fighting Lord Crump, but because his machine gun attack is just so overpowered and deadly.
That is also fair, I personally don’t mind it but only because of Life Shrooms

🤣 there is a reason why I made a mini game ranking lol
It took me so many tries to beat Hard Mode Giant Bowser because I for the life of me couldn’t get past the squish attack, I did it my first time and messed up the star driver but after that just instant death by bowser’s fat foot
Yep same experience 😭
Nearly scratched my screen doing it
"You should not need required things in boss battles" inst that just what all of sticker star and color splash is?
Yep, and it’s a big problem for me
@@ShroobInvader I dont like that either. Misses the entire purpose of turn based combat
Yeah that’s fair, for me personally I just didn’t care at all about them which is why they weren’t even on the list
King Bob-Omb is great in teaching you how to not use long special attacks and practice countering his attack that lets you bump up the timer
that's why in origami king the bosses will tell you when there about to do a super attack
the only reason I don't like the giant bowser fight is because every 3ds I've ever had has a broken gyroscope so I literally couldn't beat it, but other than that it's a really fun fight, even on hard mode
Oof yeah that’ll be painful to deal with a broken one
Oh I see, this is your new most popular now lol, I am surprised now but congratulations to you
Thanks lol
bone chill is one of the best bosses in super paper mario. it has super great music, an awesome back story, and multiple ways to defeat it. when I first saw it I loved it. it's also a perfect end to chapter 7 as it focuses on mythology so having the boss be essentially satan being fought in paper Mario heaven is perfect.
@@ShroobInvader yeah your right. I remember always beating it first try, the fights still fun though but u do have a good point
