PLEASE READ: great video but the inner cartridge bleed and valve installation is difficult using the method in this video. I had to redo it a couple times because I kept introducing air into the system. Cameron Nimela's video on showa forks uses a far more fool proof method with much less wasted fluid. JBI suspension also has some good tips on the inner cartridge bleeding. Just my two cents, it's at least worth your while to watch both videos and decide what you want to do.

If you're going to use electrical tape I would suggest using the white variant as the black stuff tends to leave a residue.
How do I undo my clicker settings? Totally forgot to hold it in place with a flathead while I unscrewed the clicker adjuster

Can I use this video to rebuild the forks on my 2019 Crf250r?
I’m a bit confused when recording the compression setting. You turn it all the way towards the hardest setting and count how many clicks? And then reset it all the way to soft? How would you know where it’s currently set at?? First time tackling this
do you have to do the whole compression stack chamber dissassembly if you really just need the fork seals replaced? i get that there will be some old fork oil left in the forks but it doesnt matter all that much to me, im not competing or jumping ginormous jumps

When you put the spring seat back into place you hit that collar… what way does that collar need to be facing??

Dude i have these forks on my CRF250M 2014 model does anybody do a spring up grade kit for them ie spring in each leg as there seems to be only available for Olhins forks cheers in advance

It's a metric bike, why specify oil quantity in ounces? That is so 1960. CC's are so much easier to measure out too. Other than that, excellent video! He speaks well!

Hi i need to ask something... I had an accident and a srew that makes the compression cut its head... How can i change the screw?it is nessesery to buy all the mini susspension from the upper part of the fork or i can only change the screw..... Special thnks

What is the part called on the damper that keeps the spring seat from going too far? I just bought a 2012 Crf250r and fork seals were leaking so I went to rebuild the forks and the spring seat was at the very top of the damper and the clip and whatever the part is that slides over the clip are trash and I don’t know what the parts are called to be able to locate them.
Your best bet to make sure you get the correct part is to check out the OEM parts finder. You can click the link below, enter your bike make and model, then go to the front fork schematic. You will then be able to see all the components inside the fork.

How do you torque the fork cap?
It can be difficult but there are fork cap wrenches that have a spot to attach a torque wrench.
@@rmatvmc it's for a 22 crf250. All of the 50 mm wrenches I see on your site don't appear to have a square spot to attach a torque wrench.
