    I am not an audiophile and I got these for free with my Pixel 6 preoder, but as a frequent listener of electronic and techno, I really enjoy these.
    The noise cancelling also really makes my work and commute a lot more relaxed.

    Good review, thanks! It'd be interesting to hear your take on the microphone and anc, which are supposedly pretty good.

      I havent tested the microphone but the ANC was quite amazing one of the most noise canceling headphones I have used for sure

    Does the built-in-mic work with gaming? Wanted to see if I can chat with teammates. Currently gaming on a PC with controller

    I agree with everything you said.
    In case you didn’t know, literally everyone and their mother and dog is saying that the Bose 700s have no bass at all LOL probably because everyone is used to the Sony XM series of headphones which have a ton of bloated bass which mainstream people tend to prefer.
    In any case, if you’re wondering, the newer Bose QC45 have even less bass than the 700s and slightly more pronounced mids and highs which I think you’d prefer even more and they also have slightly larger ear cups by a few millimetres.

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah i agree the sony XM series has more bass than even the Bose 700 lol....
      I feel like the sony xm series is definitely just way too much that the bass sounds bloated. The Bose 700s doesnt really sound too bloaty it just hits hard lol

      Thank you! I was reading Amazon reviews and so many people were complaining about having “no base” I went to best buy and they are the complete opposite

      @@ryanhostudio Subjective maybe, but going from the XM4s to the Bose I was literally like WTF. The XM4s range and bass is sooo much better IMHO, not even comparable. To the point of me being like ok compared to my AirPod Pros 2 why would people even use the Bose? The answer for me was slightly better noise canceling and better in-call mic quality

    I own this headset and also the Skullcandy hesh ANCs and I think you should try the hesh and see how it sounds to you. It has more base than these but not excessive and the ANC is not bad on them but not as good as the Bose but the soundstage is very similar except for a little more base that you can feel.

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      sounds interesting! I have yet to try anything from them yet! I always wanted to try the skull crushers though lol

    Do you have the problem with games that when you use it without the cable (so with bluetooth) the sound becomes very hollow with painful sharp sounds? But when you put the cable back in it sounds normal again.
    The weird thing is that I only have this when I'm playing a game. Just watching youtube or netflix without cable doesn't cause this problem

    Does the Bose 700 (when wired) support high res audio music (i.e. 24 bits/196kHz)? Thank you.

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i think wired it would depend on the dac it’s plugged into, like an apple dongle would not support that

      I am using Bose NC700 with Ifii Go Link DAC , also have used apple DAC to enjoy lossless audio on apple music. Believe me, iFi is way better than apple DAC on this headphones and you will simply enjoy every bit. It is just Perfect.
      Cons - It is bulky when you are on the go.
      My next wishlist - Sennheiser IE 600 IEM with iFi Go link dac.

    Hello Ryan. i am using the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X for like 6 years now for daily music and youtube and twitch. Is the Bose 700 a good upgrade or would you suggest another headphone for pc. And does the Bose 700 connect on pc or do i need to have an bleutooth adapter?

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the bose does come with a 3.5MM jack to connect to pc. But if your primarily using a wired headphone than I would suggest a headphone like the Shure 840a that is $150. If you wanted a bluetooth headphone than I do think the Bose 700 is a good upgrade

      Yes it does its in the little window pocket in bose carrying case

      I own both. Keep the ATH-M50X’s - especially if you prioritize value. The monitoring quality of the AT’s is one of the best bang for the buck on the market and has been for years.
      The only case I’d take the Bose 700s first is if this is for “on the go” - the 700s make travel awesome and have great noise cancelling + customization options.

    How did you connect the bose 700 to pc for gaming like warzone? Does it have directional sound?

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it comes with a cable to connect via 3.5mm the directional accuracy works fine in my opinion

    I come from Sony's and listen to quite a bit of EDM. I also want wireless headphones that have great soundstage and base to be enjoyable for something like the song "I'm Back (to Rise)"
    Do you recommend these for me?

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah the bose has great bass it should work well

    I use these the most for my gaming headset but I don't talk to anyone which I am basically anti social and an introvert. I just rather play the game. Same with online. I stay out of convos. So I don't care for mics.

      thanks for sharing! I basically use my desktop mic for everything to so built in mic never matters much to me either
