I only wanted the tube without all the sound silencers. But I also just reused the factory airbox with a K&N Filter. Now it sounds more aggressive and still pulls clean air. AFE 55-10011R is basically the same setup. It replaces the tube and reused the stock airbox with a new filter
Change when it's looking dirty lol. Filter is 6in intake and 7in long. American trucks should have one. Doesn't need to be same brand as long as it fits.

Installed a Rough Country Cold Air Intake…now all of a sudden I’m noticing I’m receiving a Powertrain failure malfunction and the vehicle is having hard time going off first gear, and will just rev for a couple of second. Uninstalling and going back to Stock didn’t really see a jump in MPG or Power either Any one noticed this happening after a CAI installation??

You added more step than needed. Great intake for the price but after just installing on there is no need to remove the lower air box section
my thoughts exactly
Agree lol
Can you use this intake with an SR throttle body spacer? Is any further modification needed? Thanks!
I don't know how I feel about the exposed filter. Especially since I drive down dirty gravel roads that are dusty af
I did this and it makes a thumping noise how can I fix it ?
Can i ask ….How often to change that filter and where to buy the that new filter…thank you

Nope. Just installed on my 2016 and everything runs smooth.
Check your MAF but in the end, it's always the throttle body taking a dump
How could you possibly get better mpg or power while simultaneously not getting out of first gear?
Any luck installing on a 2021?
That is what I want to know as well. Have you found anything out?
No.. i have a 2021 5.0 it does not fit
