I saw you privated it, but I wanted to thank you for making that video on NEX. I believe the NEX fusions need retrains and the set of fusions need to be complete and I want the card to get more coverage so it'll be back on Komami's radar that it's something they can go back to fix. I really liked the NEX Neos fusions as they're the only contact fusions that don't return to the extra deck at the end of the turn. Even if they're never competitive, I'd like them to be complete enough to be useable in friendlies. A version of NEX that can use neospacians from the deck and a retrain that allows the fusions to be considered different cards to avoid the 3 total limit ruling issue alone would be enough for me, though slightly improving the power of the effects to have Marine Dolphin do more damage or adjusting the Twinkle Moss effects would be good. I also really want to see the advanced Neos fusions for the rest of the advanced forms, because the base neospacian-Neos fusions are so extreme in being good or bad, it'd be nice to get them modern, advanced improvements. I'm sure it had a negative response, cause it was a negative video about something HERO, but I really appreciate it

@@RazorusR3X777 Didn't episode 1 Jaden give the business to an elite professor, cooked any kind of villain en masse one after the other and regardless of available friendly help and either defeated or came through against the GX bosses and situations (both the hardest and most intense of the whole Yugioh animated series), and especially with the portion of own decks/cards created by him because they were the later-portion cards and monsters (not like the first part opponents were slouches either, just like the Elemental Heroes were almost as effective as his Neo Spacians)?
All of that material and imagination as a kid too lol already by landing something like Grand Mole (imagine doing that as a 7 years old lol) the deal is closed on the quality.
The use, relationship and mechanics of origins-created card concept in GX is particularly great too because, before the Jaden ones and flashbacls, I remember Chumley getting into it mid series and even giving Jaden Skyscraper 2 Hero City, before going through in becoming a professional about it, on top of all the loads (basically more characters than have it then not) of both friends and opponents that have a special relationship and link with their cards and decks.
@@RazorusR3X777 In a setting where the canon and standard are, aside the hearts of card and stuff, how much hearts and intensity and care you put in creating your deck (and that translating to actual success and ability, the reason why Dimitri couldn't beat Jaden even with the Yugi set and persona - according to Jaden/the episode final explanation - ), that's pretty elite for a character to do that and at that age, on top of the looming Yubel threat already/those cards coming back and becoming relevant to him and his either recovery or saving, before proceeding to beat even Yubel on top (which needed all the Neos/Neos ultimate fusions too to lead the proper neo spacians - and the elemental heroes too if I recall correctly - , and imagine creating a monster, base and engine like Elemental Hero Neos as a child lol).
Plus, he would've been canonically done for if he hadn't created those cards and if those cards weren't at least all functional, synergetic and pretty good (instead they were, if used by his top duelling ability at least, elite and one of the best decks in the series).
And when he retrieved the ability to use his deck, the neo spacians and elemental together were pretty great in combo and synergy too.
Its hilarious to me that Jaden ran *Metamorphosis* and just used it for Neo Bubbleman, of all things.
Also Clay Guardian another Metamorphosis card Jaden used in his 1st duel against Aster

Sorry i think you mix up Jaden with Yugi. Jaden is actually rarely if ever play odly specific counter or spell.
Kagemaru: He won using a card that said if you activate this card you win the duel. Not really but its basically search 3 any card in your deck and then OTK your opponent.

Yubel: He didn'r won againts Yubel so skip this one.

I find it hilarious that Jaden is largely known for Elemental Heroes and Neo-Spacians, which even at the time weren't even close to competitive, but whenever he went off theme, he used cards that dominated or heavily impacted the IRL game.

@@muhisxv I think he's talking about Pepe (Performapals Performages), which was one of the competitive decks that reached tier 0 status. It's also the archetype that Yuya used in the Arc-V series.

His original cards were pretty terrible, but he did use Mirage of Nightmare, Solemn Judgment, and Pot of Greed.
His fusion monsters were ok but he did have a few decent spells and traps I think he also had good non theme cards though grand mole was pretty good

Masked hero
Basically he uses the competitive version of heroes
His first deck was also Elemental Heroes except he also used the Omni Heroes (aka the actually good E Hero fusions). Then during the middle he switched to a Masked Hero deck which tbh is a lot worse than his initial deck.
When I was a kid, Jaden was my favorite yugioh character (he’s still up there) and it was so cool when I started the game and I got to play a bunch of cards Jaden used... and they were actually GOOD. I feel like not counting Yuma getting every Number monster or Yuya NOT resolving Pendulum Sorcerer’s effect the singular time he appears, Jaden is the protag with the most competitive deck followed by Yusei

God, I loved using that card back in the day.
It wasn't used until Season 4, which still hasn't been dubbed. So, I don't blame him for missing it. Really good card in Counter Fairies and Chaos decks.
It was a mistake to not dub Season Four. That's my favorite season of GX.

Sabatial’s actual effect only searches out a polymerization or fusion spell card while you have a winged Kuriboh in your graveyard. If it weren’t for that condition is probably would have seen play at some point but as is it’s not very good.

@@chompyzilla Yeah the things we'll do for a Pot card, paying half your LP to search anything from Deck or GY with the card itself returning to the Deck. Add a niche use of being searchable itself via Winged Kuriboh, which itself is searchable via Flute of Summoning Kuriboh, the card would've definitely seen play.
Looking back, most of the Tag Force anime cards that were eventually released were actually buffed like Litmus Doom Swordsman and Ayers Rock Sunrise
He had that for one duel(to my knowledge) against Kagemaru which was given to him by his professor

This is a really cool analysis :) Something I would like to see at some point is a comparison between all (or an X number of) main character's ACTUAL decks (as far as you can piece them together, of course). It would be a challenge to analyze those decks I think, especially seen the fact the writers obviously don't think too much about how actual decks are constructed
I actually laughed at 10:00; I love these new cuts that leave in the outtakes, they're really charming.
I saw people in the twitter thread (where you were checking about Stratos) saying "oh this will be short" because people only remember the vanilla E HEROS for some reason, but man there's some crazy cards here.
Jaden best protag
Bubbleman was kinda op. It got nerfed in real life lol. But Superpolmerisation is probably the most op card cuz it could defeat cards like quasar and other things like that.
Something interesting about the anime is that it took the opponent’s monsters and made real fusion Yugioh cards on the spot. Like Rainbow Dragon was a newly invented card but Jaden made Rainbow Neos out of fine air. Don’t tell me Pegasus thought about designing this improbable fusion and Jaden had it. Same thing for Neos Wiseman.
The Neo Spacians were also like Pegasus' Toon cards. One of a kind that Jaden made and they got made. Pegasus may not have even known what Neo-Spacian were and he only just made Rainbow Dragon a card because he was show it existed in ancient ruins.
The third season of GX is one of the best of the whole franchise, change my mind

i think Honest should make or be mentioned to this list. I mean i know it's not his original card, it's belong to someone else.. but not only Jaden play that card, it also had a counterpart in Neos form so technically you can count Honest as one of Jaden's monster card
It's kinda hilarious the list of cards he played that managed to be relevant at the time of release and even now. Mirror force, solemn judgement, dandylion, card trooper, super polymerization, grand mole, spell striker, mirage of nightmare etc.
manga elemental hero cards are some of my favourite decks when I play the Yugioh card games, it is so much fun comboing Super polymerization to steal whatever monster the opponent is using and fusing it to make one of them, I like to go for Absolute Zero since that is a hard one to deal with lol
It's okay, I'm usually at a loss for words when I think about Rainbow Neos too.
Miracle Fusion still sees play as a 1 of in every HERO deck since we now have a reliable searcher for it

Definitely would be interested in a manga hero video, as well as dark E heroes and masked Heroes!
Actually i want to add one card to this list: Elemental Hero Neos Allius. It actually saw competitive play and there was a deck dedicated to play allius. My friend went to europeen championship (wcq) with this deck. With E-emergency call u add allius and u use cards like gemini spark to gain advantage. Of course super poly and miracle fusion is used to have more obtions since allius is a hero monster and super poly can be used for any attribute to substitute. I like this type of control decks so i wanted to mention it :)

I totally forgot that Card Trooper was in Jaden's deck. I just did some research and learned that it was actually the chase card in duelist pack Jaden 2! This was back when duelist packs had one ultra
I played aqua dolphin way ahead of the curve. Way before hand traps. Combo’ed great with atlanteans in water decks. Even in DL water neos was very good, I got kog at least 5x with it. Neos in general already used some water cards like gale lizard or nightmare penguin but with abyss solder it was even better as you could OTK them even faster not having to set a monster for a turn. Even aqua dolphins lame fusion was pretty darn good in DL once jaden got the skyscraper field spell skill.
Yu-Gi-Oh mangas are always better than the animes, so count this as a vote for looking at Jaden's manga cards.
Jaden manga cards aren't as strong as the real life counterparts
like most fusion there are just vanillas or used as fodder for EHero Terra Firma

Think Grand Mole could still be teched in some rock decks, might even have some Adamancipator potential. I can't really say for that specific deck though since I'm still getting those cards right now. lol

It's funny because even though you can rip a hand trap from your opponent's hand with Aqua Dolphin, if you want to summon dolphin from the deck with Connector, then your opponent can just use ash, veiler, ghost ogre on that connector

Gramps used mirage of nightmare the same way jaden did in...THE KC GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! Which no one acknowledges as a mini arc for some reason.
I'm surprised not to see Flame Wingman here just because that thing absolutely chews through its opponent's life points even with defense position monsters. But I guess it needed too much support to really take advantage of its effect.

For anyone curious what anime bubble man did, he had the same thing as normal bubble man being able to special summon himself if he was the only card in your hand. But unlike real life bubble man the draw 2 effect worked even if he was just normal summoned so if that was bubble man’s actual effect he would definitely be a good target for rota but maybe not the best for a hero lives

Always put Jaden near the top of best main protagonist duelists mostly because I think he carried for most part of Bonds Beyond Time, but going back to anime, it’s rough with how many times he turn 1 summons Avian in ATK mode and sets 0-1 before saying go.
Was always baffled how he had Mirror Force once but then went back to Negate Attack for the rest of the series.
And yes please do the manga cards.

I’ve used a lot of different cons and everyone I’ve used has cut my speed by 2/MB I usually get 8 MB so yeah kind of annoying if I have too download a large file this is why I’ve never used nord but thanks for advertising it
