Thanks Doug for the insightful video. I also enjoyed the teaching style of this video, especially the HandWritten texts on screen. It really kept me engaged all through. If you don’t mind sharing, what tool did you use to achieve the written part of this video?
Awesome, I'm glad you liked it. It's a bit different from what I usually do. If people like these types of "conversational" videos, I'll definitely do more of them. I'm just using Final Cut Pro for iPad to draw on the screen while editing. Seemed to work really nice while I relaxed in the evening and edited on the couch!
Hi Doug. Thanks for your insights. I agree that FluentCRM might not be a good fit going forward. By the way, what app are you using to get the handwritten text and drawings on your screen? It looks nice 👍 Thanks

SureDash will be an interesting one. I'm hoping their custom performance configuration will give them a lot more speed without sacrificing standard WordPress functionality like other plugins. That said, I would personally take a long hard look at my community goals before choosing WP for my community -- SureDash or otherwise.
Hey Doug, I agree with most of what you're saying, but at the same time, looks like everything you mention is fixed with proper dedicated server with good performance and a good WP maintenance guy. Shouldn't that be the norm when a business starts to scale ? (Seems this is when scaling up that these problems mostly come). But yeah if you're the business owner and want to do everything by yourself, then scaling on WP is definitely going to bring some headaches.
Even on a dedicated server (which I personally have for my sites), community and email tools will bloat the DB and chew up storage and performance. While it may sound like an easy solution to throw more money at the problem to buy more space and faster hardware, it eventually balloons to a bigger problem. The problem here will expand to fill the space you give it. Once you start paying for a good-enough dedicated server, you've reached the point where you can pay more for tools vastly superior to the WP solutions anyway.
@@Convology I am myself not on WP, but I know businesses that are on WP using FunnelKit (emails + funnels + automations + sales with WC) with over 200k contacts and automations, even a few at 400/500k contacts, running smoothly. I can give you reference of the admin if you want to dive in. I have heard a few times that FluentCRM might not be the best for big companies, and that they tend to drop the ball quickly when a problem arises.

Question is what do you keep WordPress for. I just insalled fluent community and you are waking up that question :) But you got the point since i installed all fluent products.
I haven't found a website platform that I like more. I have written tutorial versions of my videos, sales pages, etc., that are all still best on WP for my setup. I hope that in the next 5 years we have real alternatives. Right now, I there just aren't any.
@ Thank you That’s what I think I love the way we can create landing page with elementor that none of any Saas can do. Exemple click funnel landing pages are ugly as hell :) LOL Elementor Pro really offers us a very good opportunity to control every aspects of our page. Love your channel Wish I’ll become the next Convology for Frenc Canadian ! You do a very great job.
